Chapter 21

The so-called short-handed, cannibalistic short-mouthed.

How can other people's food be so delicious, they have to pay a certain price, but if Miao Sanniang is willing to make sweet-scented osmanthus tea and boiled eggs, then Zhang Yue will definitely not refuse, and eat as much as you want... No, I'm asking How many questions, how many questions to answer.

Zhang Yue said with a smile: "Senior brothers and sisters say these things to the public, yes, today's eggs and sweet-scented osmanthus tea are very good."

Miao Sanniang smiled and said, "If senior brother likes it, I'll bring it to you tomorrow!"

Zhang Yue nodded and said, "You're welcome, junior sister. If you don't know anything tomorrow, please ask again!"

Miao Sanniang went home with her servants.

At this time, the sun has not yet set, and the golden sun shines on the mountains, the treetops, and the open space between the courtyards. The pastoral songs of cow herding boys can be heard from afar, and the villages in the mountains are already emitting cooking smoke.

By the fence, the dog lay lazily under the shade of the tree sticking out its tongue.

Guo Lin watched Miao Sanniang's back go far away and returned to the house.

Zhang Yue was writing a hundred words of yong at this time, Guo Lin sat for a while, and then Zhang Yue walked around in front of him.

Zhang Yue saw Guo Lin's worried look, and thought for a moment, "If you have something to do with senior brother, just tell me bluntly!"

Guo Lin asked in surprise, "How do you know that I have something to share with you?"

Zhang Yue thought to himself, your thoughts are completely written on your face.

"Is your brother alright?"

Guo Lin thought for a while and said, "Junior brother, I don't think it's appropriate for you to respond to the matter that junior sister is asking for advice today."

Zhang Yue looked at Guo Lin and thought, "You are a dog, and you want to drag me along?"
Guo Lin hesitated for a while, but still said earnestly: "Junior brother, it's a matter for junior sister to ask for advice... Of course, this is a superficial opinion of senior brother. If junior brother doesn't mind, don't take it to heart."

Zhang Yue suddenly remembered that when he just graduated from his last life, he just entered the unit and asked the old employees for advice. Some of them were reasonable and some ignored.

Later, Zhang Yue bought some tea leaves to make tea for them, and it was much easier to ask them for advice.Did the tea do the trick? Not necessarily.

But there is one thing, these things are summed up by the old employees themselves.Although it's just a sentence, why should I tell you if I'm not a relative or a hometown.

Tea is not worth a few dollars, but what they want is an attitude.Bad and good people who have no threshold must not do it.

But Zhang Yue thought about it, everyone is still a classmate now, has he made things a bit complicated?Isn't that precious relationship between classmates when they were young?
Thinking of this, Zhang Yue realized that he was indeed wrong. If it is wrong, admit it!

He bowed to Guo Lin and said, "Brother taught me that Saburo was wrong!"

Guo Lin was overjoyed when he saw that Zhang Yue accepted his opinion for the first time: "I just said, you can understand."

"One more thing, Junior Brother... Can I stop urinating the earthen pot next to my bed every night? Can I move a few more steps?"

Zhang Yue smiled and did not speak, the answer is of course... No!
Two days later, Guo Xueyan taught Zhang Yue to read the scriptures.

Zhang Yue couldn't help but have expectations, what would Guo Xuejin teach himself?

But seeing Guo Xueyan came to Zhangyue's house early this morning and said: "This is the same as learning and being a person. We must grasp the essentials of everything, and the same is true for the management of the scriptures. The tone of the poems is the foundation, and the management of the scriptures should be Based on exegesis! If you want to expound, you should memorize "Erya" first, so that the bottom line will not be messed up!"

"Elya"?
Zhang Yue thought that Guo Xuejin would teach himself one of the Five Classics, such as Shu and Yi in the next step, but he did not expect that it would be Erya.

Is "Erya" a scripture?Like the Analects of Confucius and the Classic of Filial Piety, no and yes.

The Analects of Confucius is a quotation of Confucius, and the Classic of Filial Piety represents the ideology of the ruling class. Then, Erya was not written by Confucius, nor was it within the scope of the nine classics stipulated by the imperial court. Why did Guo Xueyan want Zhang Yue to study it?

But Guo Xueji said: "Erya is not a classic, but it is a household book of six registries, and a key point for scholars. If you want to expound, "Erya" and "Shuowen Jiezi" are the must-learn ways."

"Erya" is equivalent to a dictionary, a dictionary. For example, it is absolutely high, Beijing; it is not human, Qiu.This sentence is from Erya, and it is also an exegesis.

And the exegesis of the scriptures. In the Han Dynasty, the study of exegesis was a study that Confucian students could study for a lifetime.

Ordinary sutra teachers teach you to memorize the meaning of the sutras, and recite the annotations to meet the sutra-yi test, but a good sutra-yi teacher will teach you to start with exegesis.

But the level of exegesis is very powerful.

Those with a poor level can only copy the annotations of the ancients, and the masters can teach the ancients how to annotate the scriptures.

That is to say, the ancients' annotations are wrong, and I am correct.

For example, in the Han Dynasty, the Book of Songs Lu, Qi, and Jia made annotations, and later Mao's poems. After Zheng Xuan, a great scholar in the Eastern Han Dynasty, wrote a manuscript for Mao's poetry, scholars all over the world switched to Mao's poetry, so that the other three schools were lost.

Therefore, the Book of Songs only uses Mao's annotations as authentic, not like there are Zuo Zhuan, Gongyang Zhuan, and Guliang Zhuan annotations in the Spring and Autumn Period. In this regard, Zheng Xuan has really done a great deed of great merit to scholars including Zhang Yue. .

In the end, Guo Xueyan instructed Zhang Yue to read the scriptures only with exegesis and not with verses.

When reading the biography of Han books, one can see that famous officials such as Ban Gu have a record under them, saying that when he was young, he was reading "not for chapters and sentences, but for general exhortations".

Superficial comprehension exegesis explains the meaning of words and words, while chapters and sentences are the meaning of sentences.

But more in-depth is the dispute between the ancient texts and the modern texts in the two Han dynasties.

Classical texts focus on exegesis. If the original meaning of the classics is pursued, Confucius has a sentence that is said but not made.

Jinwen Jingxue pays attention to chapters and sentences, and it is from the time when Confucius commented on the Spring and Autumn Period that he used subtle words to make chaotic ministers and thieves fear. They believe that every sentence in the Spring and Autumn Classics has an expressive content, an inner meaning, and they elucidated the inner meaning, in fact, it is to express the will of the ancients.

For example, the eight-legged essays on the imperial examinations in the Ming and Qing Dynasties are the study of chapters and sentences.

The examiner randomly selects a sentence from the Four Books and Five Classics, such as the sentence 'Three people walk, there must be my teacher'. Candidates should imitate the tone of a sage and write an essay with this sentence in eight paragraphs. The candidates who wrote the eight-part essay refer to Zhu Zizhi's "Annotation of Chapters and Sentences of the Four Books".

Just like writing a thesis today, for any sentence in the Analects of Confucius, candidates must write a thesis.

But Song Dynasty classics is not the case.

The emphasis in the study of ancient scriptures is only exegesis, not chapters and sentences.Tracing back to the source of the scriptures and the meaning of the scriptures, the pursuit of exegesis. Therefore, the Nine Classics Department only examines the sutras and ink meanings, which is equivalent to requiring memorization and interpretation of the meanings of the classics, and does not allow any elucidation of the meanings of the classics.

Guo Xueyan warned: "The number of words in "Erya" is not as good as "The Analects of Confucius". You only need to memorize a few items a day. You don't have to be too hasty.

"If you can master the first teaching, you will be able to read the Nine Classics without a teacher in the future. There is no such thing as one step to the sky when you read the first one, but it will come naturally over time."

Zhang Yue did the math, adding the Nine Classics, the Classic of Filial Piety, the Analects of Confucius, Erya, and the Mencius that he memorized, these are the Thirteen Classics mentioned in later generations.

During the Five Dynasties, the Lord of Shu, Meng Chang, carved the "Eleven Classics", and removed the "Book of Filial Piety" and "Erya" in the "Twelve Classics" and replaced them with "Mencius".

This is the 'jing' considered by the typical jinwen jingxue.

From the Five Classics of the Tang Dynasty, to the Nine Classics of the Song Dynasty, and finally the Thirteen Classics of the Southern Song Dynasty.

Zhang Yue has unknowingly understood it, the history of the development of Jingyi.

Next, Guo Xueyan and Zhang Yue talked about the order of studying the classics, "Yi", "Book", "Poem", "Ritual", "Spring and Autumn".Because the ancient literature and classics regard Confucius as a historian, the order of the Five Classics is set from ancient times to the present.

However, it is different in the study of modern classics. The order of the Five Classics is set as "Poetry", "Book", "Ritual", "Yi", "Spring and Autumn", which is a step from the shallower to the deeper.

"Erya can read slowly, it's okay if you don't understand it. In the future, when you will master it, you can't."

After Guo Xuejian gave Zhang Yue a copy of Erya, he gave him another copy of the Book of Changes.Zhang Yue was startled when he saw this, Guo Xuejie actually borrowed two books at a time? This must be too great.

Guo Xuejiao said: "The Book of Changes is the first of the Five Classics. I borrowed this Book of Changes from the county school. Xuezheng is only willing to lend it out for three days. After you have finished copying it, I will return it! This "Erya" is quite If no one borrows my treasures, you can read them slowly."

When Zhang Yue understood it, he realized that Guo Xuejie had been missing for most of the day yesterday afternoon. This round trip is about half a day's effort.Reading is as hard as this.

Zhang Yue saluted: "Yes, sir, the students must finish the copy within three days."

Guo Xuejiao said: "Don't be in a hurry. When you copy the scriptures, you should read them silently in your heart. With this preconceived effort, you can get twice the result with half the effort when you read the scriptures every day. If the three-day deadline is reached, he is really If you are in a hurry, you can ask your senior brother to help you copy it. But it is better to copy it yourself. After completing your own homework, the only thing in the world is your studies, and you cannot leave your hands alone!"

Zhang Yue seriously agreed again.

Guo Xueyan nodded, then left the hut, and after walking outside the door, he looked back at the house.

But seeing Guo Lin's "Book of Changes" and "Er Ya" standing in his hands to explain his experience of reading these two classics to Zhang Yue, Zhang Yue sat on the chair and listened intently.

At this time, the Hun family of Guo Xuejia came over.

Guo Xueji hurriedly stepped forward to stop him and said, "What are you doing?"

The pedant said: "Call them to eat!"

Guo Xuejia hurriedly said: "Don't worry for a moment, didn't you see their brothers and sisters are discussing knowledge?"

"That's always going to be a meal!"

"Wait a moment!"

Having said that, Guo Xueyan and his Hun family looked into the room together. It was so hot in the afternoon, but the two brothers were both teaching and listening, unaware.

"Let's go, don't look at it."

Guo Xuejia nodded happily, and said to the Hun family as he walked: "Sanlang has grown a lot recently, and Lin'er has become more and more like a senior brother. If both of them enter the county school, this old man will have a brighter face."

Speaking of this, Guo Xuejia shook his head in delight, and swayed his clogs: "Oh! Let the lame slave go to the village to sell wine, I will drink one more today!"

"Where is the money at home?"

"Go on credit first!"

"Poverty is too big, don't even think about it!" The roar of the Hun family's Hedong roared directly into Guo Xuejiao's ears.
