Chapter 131 Luna
Chapter 131 Luna
Ever since Harry lived in the shabby house, the Weasleys had prepared an extra bed for Harry in Ron's bedroom.
Early in the morning, Harry woke up in a daze. He rubbed his eyes, groped around the pillow for a while, and put his glasses on.
"Ron, wake up, Ron."
"Huh? What's the matter?" Ron asked half asleep.
"I heard movement downstairs."
Harry got up and sat on the edge of the bed, he listened carefully for a while: "Are there any guests coming today?"
"I didn't hear that." Ron's voice became smaller and smaller, he wrapped the quilt tightly, turned over, and fell asleep again.
Harry didn't try to wake Ron up again. He walked to the door in his pajamas, quietly left the bedroom, and then closed the door softly.
From downstairs came the sound of conversation, and Mrs Weasley preparing breakfast.
Harry heard Mr. Weasley say, "So you really did that thing in Diagon Alley?"
In this regard, the only thing Harry could think of was that Professor Highmore taught Lucius another lesson.
As a result, he was horrified to hear Professor Haimer's voice from downstairs.
"Don't ask me that, Arthur—can I call you Arthur? Thanks, I can't admit it anyway, or Headmaster Dumbledore will make me look good before the Ministry of Magic does— — By the way, did that list work?"
"It's still a step too late."
Harry heard frustration and anger in Mr. Weasley's tone: "I've been trying to speed up the implementation of the Muggle Protection Act as soon as possible, but it's been blocked a lot - Malfoy's reaction is fast, he knows If I lost something, I immediately contacted those friends in the ministry—”
"Calm down, Arthur. I already guessed that things would not go so smoothly, and it would not be so easy to bring down Malfoy."
"Isn't it easier than teaching him a lesson openly?"
"I'm not sure about this, I can only guess and say maybe."
There was a burst of cheerful laughter from downstairs, and Mr. Weasley seemed to relax a lot.
Thinking of the embarrassment of Malfoy and his son, Harry couldn't help laughing.
But soon, he couldn't laugh anymore.
Harry turned his neck stiffly, and he saw Mr. Al appearing at the corner of the stairs at some point, staring at him strangely.
"Good morning, Mr. Al." Harry said weakly.
He was taken downstairs by Al, and saw Mrs. Weasley putting breakfast on the table, and Mr. Weasley and Professor Highmore preparing breakfast.
"Oh, Mr. Potter, you got up early." Toby mocked with a strange smile: "How is it, have you finished your summer homework?"
Harry, led by Mrs. Weasley, sat next to Professor Highmore's seat. He said quickly, "I've already finished my homework on ancient magic. But, professor, why did you come to the Burrow again?"
"Just passing by." Toby slowly cut the pancake open: "Why, don't you welcome me?"
"Nothing!" Harry straightened his back and said, "Everyone misses you, especially—er, Percy! Percy has been looking forward to your coming!"
Mrs. Weasley put the slowly piled dinner trays in front of Harry, and she said softly: "That would be great, Professor Higher will be doing things around here later, and he intends to let Mr. Al stay , to help you check your homework or something—”
The voice in Harry's ear became smaller and smaller, and he seemed to see the happy Quidditch time gone forever, gradually disappearing.
The light in his eyes was gone.
After breakfast, Toby left Al with a serious face behind. He and Mr. Weasley walked outside the gate of the Burrow, and there was a Thestral standing near the fence around the house.
"Is the Lovegood family going in this direction?" Toby confirmed again.
"That's right." Mr. Weasley pointed to a small mountain and said, "You can see it just beyond the top of the mountain, we rarely come and go, but I'm sure you won't mistake the house, it looks very special. "
Toby nodded, said goodbye to Mr. Weasley, sat on the Thestral, bat-like wings began to flap, and soon disappeared into the clouds.
Harry, who happened to walk out of the room, saw this scene, and he said in surprise, "How did Professor Highmo fly? Is it an invisible broomstick?"
"Oh, boy." Mr. Weasley laughed. "It's a Thestral, but I hope you never have to see it."
Toby flew in the sky according to Mr. Weasley's instructions, and he quickly understood the meaning of Mr. Weasley's words-a strange house stood up against the blue sky, like a huge black column, with a A ghostly moon hangs in the afternoon sky.
Toby patted the body of the Thestral to let it fly low, and when he finally landed in front of the house, he jumped off the Thestral, and he did not forget to complain again and again: "The flying carpet is more comfortable, but unfortunately here is U.K."
The Thestral stared straight at Toby, it turned around, and simply turned its back on him.
Toby came to the ruined courtyard gate, on which were nailed three hand-painted boards——
Block [-]: The Quibbler Editor: X. Lovegood
Piece [-]: Please pick your own bunch of mistletoe
Block [-]: Don't touch the airship Lee
Ok.
Toby said silently in his heart, it seems that none of his book fans are normal.
The courtyard door creaked and was pushed open by him, and all kinds of strange plants grew beside the zigzag path, and one bush was full of orange-red radish-shaped fruits. Two old wind-bent crabapple trees flanked the front door, laden with small red berries and large crowns of mistletoe beaded with white beads.
Toby stood in front of the gate, staring at the eagle-shaped knocker, which looked a lot like the Ravenclaw house logo.
He knocked three times on the heavy door, and there was a burst of eager footsteps from inside the door, and the other party obviously couldn't wait long ago.
The door opened, and there was a little girl about Ginny's age standing in the doorway. She had messy, waist-length dirty blond hair, eyes that looked a little dazed, gray eyes, and she was wearing pajamas.
The little girl stared at Toby for a while, still holding the doorknob with her palm, pulling it back and forth and pushing it back, her body swaying accordingly, like a lonely flower in the wind.
Toby brushed his long hair behind his head, smiled kindly, and stretched out a palm: "It seems that you are Miss Lovegood."
The little girl didn't speak, and didn't shake Toby's hand.
Toby hesitated a little in his heart, he wondered: "Uh Luna Lovegood? Are you Luna Lovegood?"
The little girl nodded slightly, her eyes were blurred, she moved a little bit to the fence outside the house, pointed to the Thestral with her back to them and asked, "What is that?"
"It's not a very good means of transportation." Toby said with disdain, then a little bit of expression on his face, and his tone became serious: "Can you see it?"
Luna didn't nod or shake her head, she didn't speak again.
Toby suppressed the strange feeling in his heart. He passed Luna's body and probed into the room: "Are you alone? Isn't Mr. Lovegood here?"
Finally, a scruffy man with bare feet, wearing what looked like a stained pajamas, and long, cotton candy-like white hair was dirty and unkempt came out from the inner stairs of the house. It looked like he had just woken up.
"Who are you?!"
The man was startled when he saw Toby, he quickly walked down the stairs, carefully protecting Luna behind him.
Toby looked at the father and daughter up and down: "It seems that Miss Lovegood didn't tell you about my visit today, but none of this is important. I finally see you, Lovegood gentlemen."
Toby grabbed Xenophilius' palm forcibly, and shook him hard.
Compared with Toby, Xenophilius's thin body looked like a dummy, and Toby was almost pulled off the floor.
Toby showed his bright teeth and smiled even more harmlessly than Lockhart.
"I'm here to buy The Quibbler."
