Chapter 1281 Dignified and magnificent, gorgeous and splendid

The side of this multi-treasure box is painted with sky blue enamel glaze, and the eight auspicious patterns of the eight auspicious treasures, the treasure umbrella, the pan, the snail, the lotus, the vase, the Pisces, and the white cover, are painted in colorful glaze.

Respectively, it symbolizes the endlessness of the ages, the song covers all living beings, everything is transparent, the sound is auspicious, the world is extraordinary, the blessings and wisdom are perfect, the eternal life is free, and the clean karma is covered.

There are four legs on the bottom of the box, in the shape of auspicious clouds, and the four-character inscription "Qianlong Years" is engraved in the center of the bottom.

Why did Chen Wenzhe make such a box?And why do you think this work is very special?
It is because the biggest charm of the dropbox lies in the ingenious mechanism design.

For example, the four golden auspicious clouds and buttons adorning the shoulders hide secrets. Pull out two of them to open the treasure box from the side, revealing the swastika pattern engraved on the lotus platform.

Emperor Qianlong always liked to make ingenious works, and the craftsmen racked their brains in order to win the favor of the emperor.

This also gave birth to all kinds of exquisite products.

This box is made using the cloisonné enamel technique that reached its peak during the Qianlong period.

The shape is light and generous, and the decoration is precise and meticulous.

The hidden organs inside are ingenious and interesting. They should be used by the Qing court at that time, and they are of great artistic and humanistic value.

After making this piece, Chen Wenzhe could clearly feel that his craftsmanship was improving rapidly.

He was able to make a drop box that he had never made before, and he could make it quickly and easily. If it wasn't for the improvement of his skills, he really wouldn't be able to make it so skillfully.

"Do one more!"

This time I made a box, or a box hidden abroad.

Of course, it cannot be compared with that treasure box, but it is also a rare copper body enamelware.

It is a copper-bodied cloisonné enamel buffalo-shaped lid box from the 17.5th century in the Qing Dynasty, [-] cm long.

It turned out to be something collected by the little devil, but it was later put up for auction.

This copper body cloisonné enamel lid box is in the shape of a buffalo, kneeling and lying down.

The two corners are in the shape of a hook backwards, with both eyes looking forward and the back flipped;

The whole body is decorated with lotus and animal face patterns, simple and elegant, with bright colors;

The buffalo is plump and round, with a lifelike head, long ears and short limbs, making it extremely cute.

This is also an ingenious interior decoration, which is extremely rare.

After making two boxes, Chen Wenzhe stopped, this time he planned to make an incense burner.

There are many incense burners left in the Qing Dynasty, but there are not many copper body cloisonné enamel incense burners.

Of course, this is relative. Compared with other types of copper cloisonné enamel, incense burners are the most.

And more, just shows the classic of this type!
In the Qing Dynasty, Kangxi and Qianlong had the most copper-bodied cloisonné enamel incense burners.

After thinking about it, Chen Wenzhe first made a Qianlong one.

This time I made a Qianlong copper body filigree enamel incense burner with lotus patterns and elephant feet, and it was a pair.

Smoker, also known as incense burner or smoker cage, is used to ignite smoked materials to drive away mosquitoes.

The enamel wares of the Qianlong period are mainly filigree enamel, with exquisite craftsmanship, showing the luxurious and noble royal charm.

This kind of covered furnace is often a palace furnishing and a practical device, usually placed under the majesty on both sides of the hall to burn incense and beautify the hall.

The carcass of this pair of incense burners with a height of 25.3 cm is very simple to make, but the most troublesome thing is the cloisonné enamel process.

This pair of smokers is divided into two parts, the cover and the cover, and the shape is regular;

The cover surface is raised, and the ground is covered with gilt carvings and wrapped branches and grass.

The same style of hollow button is placed on the top of the cover; the furnace body has an open mouth with a deep belly and a round bottom, and the two sides are decorated with bronze gilt elephant heads and standing ears, which is dignified and magnificent;

Under the abdomen, the head of the elephant bears three legs, and the ears, feet, and head of the elephant are all finely crafted.

In particular, the elephant head on the feet, and the rein on the face, are extravagant and gorgeous, and contrasted with the colorful gold-plated material, they are bright and dazzling, exquisite and beautiful.

And the shape of the vase entrusted with the elephant means peace in the world and a bumper crop.

The craftsmanship has reached this stage, and it is already very exquisite, but it is still a piece of cloisonné enamel.

Therefore, the body of the vessel is made of sky-blue enamel glaze, decorated with flower patterns, and the veins of the flowers and leaves flow smoothly.

The filigree is fine, the gold plating is bright, the color is rich, the decoration is rich and luxurious, and the craftsmanship is superb.

The enamel color glaze of this vessel is bright and gorgeous, and the shape of the elephant's first foot is huge and magnificent.

The overall magnificence reflects the peak of the cloisonné enamel technique in the heyday of the Qing Dynasty;

However, it is such a piece of work, but the price is not high, that is, a million or so.

And this is enamelware. If it is other kinds of handicrafts, it is impossible to just take out one and it will be worth millions.

A work like this, worth millions, is already the most common thing.

If it is a little better, it will be worth tens of millions, and if it is even better, it will be worth over [-] million.

There is no way, this is a daily necessities, and the craftsmanship of stacking is not too much, nor is it very clever.

Therefore, such a smoker is worth more than one million RMB.

And there were many enamelware like this in the middle Qing Dynasty.

No, it should be said that there are quite a few incense burners like this.

Perhaps it is because the quantity is too large that the price cannot be sold.

For example, during the Kangxi period, the large incense burner with copper body, filigree enamel, carved dragon pattern and elephant foot is also a smoker, but this one is bigger, with a height of 56 cm.

It's a pity that this treasure is an old collection of British collectors.

The whole body of this incense burner is covered with sky blue enamel glaze and filled with red, yellow, basket and white glazes.

The corners of the furnace are folded in the shape of petals, the top button is decorated with wishful cloud patterns, the upper and lower parts of the furnace cover are decorated with twining lotus patterns, the middle part is gilded and hollowed out with dragon patterns, and Ganoderma lucidum patterns in between.

The furnace wall above the folded edge is hollowed out with a kidnapper dragon pattern, the bottom is filled with blue dragon patterns, and the bottom bears the image of a head and three legs.

The whole vessel is densely decorated and magnificent, which is really rare.

There is also a large copper body filigree enamel pavilion-style incense burner from the Qianlong period, which is larger in size, and the height of this large incense burner is 89.5 cm.

It is an old collection of Canadian collectors, and it was held in the autumn auction of the [-]th anniversary of Shendu Poly.

It was auctioned on December 2015, 12 in the special session of "Court Art and Important Porcelain, Jade, and Crafts".

This incense burner is a standard Qianlong Dynasty, a fine piece of cloisonné enamel.

This vessel is made of fine copper, partly gilded, and the main body is made of sky blue enamel, which is gorgeous and splendid;

The incense burner is in the shape of a hexagonal palace from the top to the neck, resembling a gilt tower.

The top of the pagoda is designed with double eaves, and the eaves are covered with gold-plated longevity patterns and Ruyi ear patterns.

The top wall is consecrated on six sides, and the interior is decorated with red-colored enamel and dragon patterns.

The inside of the lower eaves is decorated with blue enamel and antique symmetrical dragon patterns.

The eaves of the pavilion are all made of cornices and horns, the forked ridges are decorated with three auspicious beasts, and golden copper bells are hung below;

The eaves are decorated with multi-color striped canopy patterns to connect the eaves.

There is a small pavilion under the pavilion. The six walls of the pavilion are illuminated, and the frame is decorated with peonies.

The round abdomen bears the legs and feet of three elephants, and the feet are decorated with gilt animal face patterns;
The abdomen is consecrated on six sides, with sapphire blue enamel painted patterns as the frame, and the consecrated interior is decorated with twining lotus patterns;

The lotus flowers are filled with various enamel colors such as red, sapphire blue, yellow, pea green, purple and white.

The abdomen and shoulders are connected with a pair of crowned ears facing the sky, and the ear side is decorated with sapphire blue iridescent patterns;
On the top of the eaves, there is a round carved gilt lotus pattern button, which bears a lotus seat for a week.

It can be said that the decoration on it alone makes its luxury a step further!
