Chapter 1396: Three Domestic Treasures

Chapter 1396
The Bird Spectrum Map of the Qing Palace was taken separately under such circumstances, and is now stored in the Forbidden City.

However, what they brought with them was only the first four volumes, and there are twelve volumes in total of the bird spectrum map of the Qing Palace.

The remaining eight volumes of bird spectrum maps are now stored in the Shendu Forbidden City.

As a rare Royal Animal Illustrated Book, its cultural value is very high.

In addition to its superb painting skills, it vividly presents the living conditions of birds in the Qing Dynasty, and also provides valuable information for biological research.

At the same time, it is precisely because the bird map of the Qing Palace was originally a set that it was divided into two places.

That's why in the 90s of the last century, Wanwan issued stamps with the theme of bird spectrum to express the thoughts of a family on both sides of the strait.

No matter in terms of painting value, value in other research fields, or even its political value, the bird spectrum map is quite high, so it is a well-deserved national treasure.

But what many people don't know is that this cultural relic was originally a "blatant" imitation.

The original author of the Bird Spectrum of the Qing Palace is Jiang Tingxi, an official in the Kangyong period of the Qing Dynasty.

He is famous for his paintings, especially good at painting flowers and birds.

Often in his brushstrokes, he combines Chinese ink painting and Western oil painting styles to make his works lifelike, magnificent and colorful.

During the Qianlong period, Qianlong ordered the Chaohua Academy to enshrine Zhang Weibang and Yu Sheng, and make copies of Jiang Tingxi's original works.

Zhang Weibang is one of the early oil painters in my country, and Yu Sheng is also very good at detailing.

It can be said that the painting level of the author of this imitation is no less than that of the original author.

In addition, the original painting was exiled among the people for some reasons and lost its trace. The only complete bird map left in the world is this imitation.

I don't know how that person back then discovered this set of Qing palace bird spectrum, but he was almost coerced into Wanwan.

Now being discovered by Chen Wenzhe is also a good thing. After all, it has been stuffed into the wall for [-] to [-] years, and I don't know how it is preserved.

Now that Chen Wenzhe discovered this set of [-] volumes of complete bird spectrum by accident again, is it genuine?
If this set is genuine, how could it be left in the outer wall of a big house so easily?

This is an accidental discovery, and through this accident, I am afraid that more will be discovered.

Chen Wenzhe is very happy to have such a big receipt.

The value of this set of Qing palace bird spectrum is really too high. If it is exchanged for some benefits, Chen Wenzhe thought, I am afraid that no one in Dahai City will object, right?
After all, it is a business capital where interests are paramount. As long as there are enough interests, what can't be done here?

Chen Wenzhe looked at the scene in front of him. It was a slow old warship, transporting a large number of national treasures to sea, most of which were some big bronze wares.

"Why is no one hiding these bronze wares?" Chen Wenzhe was a little wishful thinking.

"If you have time, you must take a good look around these old houses."

This time, Chen Wenzhe has learned the essence of food, so what if he discovers something else?
Because there were so many treasures that were shipped out of the country from here back then, who knows what will happen during the transportation?
Of course, if the set of imitation birds of the Qing Palace was not taken away by Jiang's leader, it was due to the mistakes of his subordinates.

So there are still many treasures that can stay in the country, which is the result of our army's hard work.

Especially some heavy vessels, such as the lotus crane square pot.

The lotus crane square pot is very legendary. Of course, this is also because it is definitely a treasure.

It is the treasure of the town hall that was successfully intercepted because our army arrived in time to stop it: the lotus crane square pot.

In the winter of 1949, Jiang's party was in the rear of the mountain city, preparing to transport a batch of cultural relics unearthed from Nanhe to Wanwan.

At that time, many cultural relics had been packed and sent to Shancheng Airport.

At the moment when the plane was about to take off, our army arrived in time and quickly intercepted these Nanhe cultural relics.

Among them, it includes the treasure of the town hall of the Nanhe Museum - the lotus crane square pot.

The Lianhe Square Pot was discovered in 1923. At that time, Li Rui, a retired military officer, was plowing the field next to his home when he suddenly found that the hoe had hit something hard.

So, hoeing turned into excavation. If you don't dig, you don't know that there is a huge ancient tomb under his family's land.

Later, when it was excavated, it was discovered that there were countless treasures hidden inside.

At this time, Jin Yun'e, commander of the Beiyang Army, came here for a visit.

He was already very interested in antiquities, and he couldn't help being moved when he heard that a large number of treasures from the Spring and Autumn Period had been dug up in Li Rui's house.

He reported the matter overnight to Wu Peifu, who was in charge of Nanhe at the time.

In this way, all these ancient relics discovered by Li Rui were accepted by the national government.

The place where Li Rui excavated was called Zheng Gong's tomb.

In Nanhe, there is an old saying, "Without Zheng Gong's tomb, there would be no Nanhe Museum."

It can be seen that the cultural value of these unearthed cultural relics is very high.

Among them, the lotus crane square pot is the most eye-catching.

A pair was excavated in the tomb. According to archaeological research, it should be the funerary object of a certain king of Zheng State in the Spring and Autumn Period.

The lotus crane square pot embodies the mature process in the manufacture of bronze wares in the Spring and Autumn Period, and also concentrates the aesthetics of bronze wares in the Spring and Autumn Period.

Its shape is that there is a crane directly above, and the mouth of the pot below the crane spreads out in the shape of petals, just like a crane standing on a lotus, exquisite and graceful.

The body of the pot is pear-shaped, narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, surrounded by carved mythical beasts curling up.

The bottom of the pot is supported by two dragons, with smooth and elegant lines.

The mythical and cultural thoughts of the time condensed by these mythical beasts are fully reflected in the lotus crane square pot.

It also shows the more free social style after breaking away from Yin and Zhou culture in the Spring and Autumn Period at that time.

And this pair of lotus crane square pots is not exactly the same, but has subtle differences.

The lotus and crane square pot placed in the Forbidden City is relatively longer than the lotus and crane square pot in Nanhe Museum, but the error is not more than two centimeters.

As the treasure of the town hall, the lotus crane square pot has also been valued by the state.

In 2002, the Lotus Crane Square Pot was explicitly ordered by the state to be one of the first batch of cultural relics prohibited from being exhibited abroad, which shows its high status.

This is of course why Leader Jiang wanted to take the Nanhe cultural relics, especially the lotus crane square pot, to Wanwan.

If our army hadn't arrived in time, Nanhe might have lost a batch of cultural treasures.

The reason why he thought of this treasure was because Chen Wenzhe had accidentally seen a large number of bronze wares just now.

Moreover, among this batch of bronze wares, there seemed to be several heavy wares.

They all go directly to the sea by water, and among them is the famous Maogong tripod.

Dayu Ding, Maogong Ding and Dake Ding were collectively known as the "Three Treasures of the Sea" in the late Qing Dynasty.

They are one of the largest bronzes with many inscriptions in the Western Zhou Dynasty so far.

It is also a typical style of large and medium-sized tripods in the early Western Zhou Dynasty.

"Damn, is there really something to gain?"
