Chapter 1501 and Better

The Forest of Steles in Chang'an is a treasure house of culture, especially for Chen Wenzhe, who has cheating methods, he has to read it.

Therefore, even if he didn't pay special attention, Chen Wenzhe knew something about the steles in Chang'an Forest of Steles.

So he is very clear that there are claims that the "Confucius Temple Stele" is not an authentic work of the Tang Dynasty. Is this a rumor or is it true?

If we want to uncover the truth of "Confucius Temple Stele", we must first look at the important position of this stele.

First of all, Yu Shinan wrote and wrote the stele of Confucius Temple.

Yu Shinan was a great figure in the early Tang Dynasty, and he was personally taught by Zen Master Zhiyong in calligraphy, so he was highly regarded at that time.

The Confucian Temple is the Temple of Confucianism, and it is most appropriate to place the "Confucius Temple Stele" in the Confucian Temple.

So, why is "Confucius Temple Stele" so precious?

The main treasure is that the original stele was destroyed, and there were only more than 10 rubbings at that time, which were given to the close ministers.

These, of course, are rare for ordinary people to see.

According to the "Historical Relics of Chinese Culture" in 1941, Yu Shinan wrote an article and book in the ninth year of Wude (626) under imperial edict.

After the stele was completed, he submitted the rubbings of the inscription to Taizong and Wang Xizhi's special yellow silver seal.

Obviously, this is his masterpiece.

It is a pity that during the Zhenguan period, after the stele was completed, only dozens of steles were extended and given to close ministers. The Confucian Temple suffered a fire and the stele was burned out.

The catastrophe of "Confucius Temple Stele" was more than just a fire.

Later, during Wu Zetian's Chang'an period (701-704), it was engraved again, but it disappeared again.

According to the research of scholars Tokipan Dading and Guan Yezhen, the existing Forest of Steles was re-engraved by Wang Yanchao in the early Song Dynasty.

Therefore, after two reprints, "Confucius Temple Stele" is actually quite different from Yu Shinan's original work.

According to the "Historical Relics of Chinese Culture" in 1941, after several times of re-engraving, although the font remains the same, the original spirit no longer exists, which is regrettable.

Also, this stele is seven feet seven inches high and four feet two inches wide, with chi heads engraved on it, but it is somewhat lacking in majesty.

And what about the piece in front of Chen Wenzhe? It must be a copy of the Chang'an Forest of Steles, because the size is exactly the same.

Of course, the imitators are also smart enough to improve.

And this is also called fabrication in the antique counterfeiting industry.

To be honest, the stele in front of me must be a fabrication.

Because the object of his imitation is the treasure temple tablet that has disappeared.

In this way, naturally it cannot be exactly the same as the one in Chang'an Forest of Steles.

Therefore, the most obvious thing in this piece is the chilong, which is carved very imposingly.

However, if you want to fabricate something better, then you have to remove all the characteristics of the Chang'an Forest of Steles!

For example, does the size of this inscription need to be improved?
Also, it is already very good that the glyphs can be preserved as they are rubbed again and again.

If you still want to make rubbings based on the handwriting on the piece in the Chang'an Forest of Steles, can you preserve the original spirit?

There is definitely no Shen Yun, so Chen Wenzhe can tell that calligraphy is not good, but the carving technique is really good.

The one who re-engraved this stele is definitely a master stone sculptor.

However, his calligraphy is limited to copying, and it is certainly impossible to copy the spirit inside.

Of course, even so, this stele is already very valuable.

Not to mention anything else, just from this stele, Chen Wenzhe can learn master-level stone carving techniques, especially chilong carving.

Chilong mentioned before that no matter what kind of cultural relics it is in China, it has appeared.

And as long as there are chilongs, they are all valuable.

Seeing Chen Wenzhe shaking his head, Li Tianqiang couldn't bear it anymore: "It's all fake?"

"Could this be true? If the Monument of King Yu was real, the country would have robbed it long ago. How much can this kind of thing about the earliest writing of the nation boost the national self-confidence? What is the value?"

After a slight pause, Chen Wenzhe said again: "Needless to say how much Yu Shu is cherished? What's more, this is a stele in the Temple of Confucius. If it is true, all major museums across the country will come to the door. No one comes now. Do you think it is genuine?" ?”

"What about these rubbings? Don't so many of them are fakes?"

Li Tianqiang is still very self-aware, so he also knows that those national treasure steles are unlikely to be genuine.

However, he also collected so many inscriptions?
These are all rubbings, and the rubbings are not the only ones. There are so many, isn't one of them true?

"Really, I haven't seen one, but the rubbings of these temple steles are still a whole series, and there is still some value."

"Haha, you got a bunch of fakes, how much money are you wasting?" Chen Xingchen finally felt at ease.

Li Tianqiang rolled his eyes and said: "No matter how much money is spent, it's still my own. Besides, it didn't cost much. There are so many things, I bought them in a package, and the total cost is only 30!"

Chen Wenzhe was speechless. After spending this little money, what more bike do you want?

If someone can get you a small wooden cart, it is enough to be worthy of you!

"Are you bragging? Although I don't know much about antiques, so many inscriptions are more than 30, right? Even if you know it's fake, how much does it cost to make so many inscriptions?"

Chen Xingchen didn't let Li Tianqiang at all, and when he encountered an opportunity, he would naturally hit him hard.

The two brothers of the Chen family are really too much, and they are not so ruthless in flattering.

Li Tianqiang was a little embarrassed, he said helplessly: "I didn't expect you, a layman, to know a little bit about the inside story? These things are considered gifts."

"Gift? Just paid 30 yuan? So, you really have something good in your hand?"

This time Chen Wenzhe was interested, he didn't think Li Tianqiang was a fool.

Even if this guy is stupid sometimes, Li Jinli is definitely not stupid.

Besides, Li Jinli has also been in the antique shop for several years. Even if the appraisal level is not good, he knows a lot of people and must have a wide network.

How could a monkey spirit like Li Jinli be deceived?

So, he was being fished?Or is it really a good buy?

"It's in my cousin's place. If it's really good, it's absolutely impossible for my cousin to put it in my place!" Li Tianqiang said very simply.

"Are you guys going too far? Come to the hospital first, and then go to the antique shop, so why don't we go to the ceramics factory?" Chen Xingchen was also very helpless!
"What? If it's still like this, I won't go and go directly to the ceramic factory." Chen Wenzhe said decisively.

"Hehe, the boss can't help it, I said, rubbings of the Six Steeds of Zhaoling!" Li Tianqiang said immediately after seeing Chen Wenzhe's staring eyes.

Chen Xingchen was taken aback, and said, "Why don't you talk about the rubbings of Wu Niu Tu?"

Li Tianqiang rolled his eyes again: "There are no rubbings of the Wuniu map, if there is, I have to buy it!"

"There must be imitations of the Five Bulls Picture, but are you really a rubbing of the Six Steeds of Zhaoling Mausoleum?"

This time, Chen Wenzhe was really surprised.

What are the six steeds of Zhaoling Mausoleum? It is a real national treasure, even if it is a rubbing, it is very rare.
