In order to better test the combat capabilities of these two new types of armored vehicles in actual combat and try out various corresponding tactics, the command of the 33rd Army temporarily transferred an infantry battalion from the infantry unit and allocated a batch of trucks and tricycles, and also transferred an artillery battalion, a logistics battalion, an engineering company and other auxiliary forces.

These troops, together with the temporary 4th Mixed Armored Battalion, formed a temporary combat detachment with a total strength of approximately 3,000 people, commanded personally by Brigadier General Xian, deputy commander of the 56th Infantry Division.

Because this detachment had no formal organization, it was called the 33rd Army Provisional Armored Regiment for convenience.

After being formed in the Macedonia region in northern Greece, the temporary armored regiment continued to move north by train and finally entered Bosnia and Herzegovina.

There are many separatist armed forces in the local area, and they have very rarely united. According to intelligence, their size has expanded to more than 50,000 troops.

The proxy army supported by the Chu people was short of manpower and had poor combat effectiveness, so it suffered successive defeats and lost a large amount of weapons and ammunition. After these weapons and ammunition were obtained by the rebels, they strengthened their strength.

Even though the foreign legion has an absolute advantage in firepower, in an actual war it is impossible for the enemy to collapse as soon as the fighting starts.

When it comes to war, most of the time weapons don't decide everything...There are countless examples in human history of armies with outdated weapons defeating armies with advanced weapons.

The Chu Army's foreign legion is a typical professional mercenary army. The soldiers have served for a very long time, so their combat skills are definitely not bad, but their fighting will is actually quite average.

When encountering certain specific situations, they will not fight to the death with the indigenous rebels, but will just run away!
