Among the four major continents, Dongsheng Shenzhou is regarded as the reserve of Taoism, and almost all the immortals and gods gather here.

Beiju Luzhou is a place of bitter cold, and also a place where humans and monsters live together. The flames of war here are endless, but it hardly gets much attention. It seems to be a forgotten part of the continent.

Nanfangbuzhou is almost the territory of the human race. Since the Three Emperors and Five Emperors, it has been continuously passed on, developed and expanded, and it is also a place for Buddhism and Taoism to preach.

And Journey to the West, Hezhou is basically the territory of Buddhism, but this place is not a pure land everywhere, on the contrary, it is a place where demons are most rampant.

Li Mi walked all the way, the demonic wind was pervasive, the demonic aura was overwhelming, the monsters frequently took over the mountain as king, and even directly wiped out the human race, and built their own kingdoms. Many people directly feed on the human race, and some are even not far from the foot of Lingshan. But the Buddha never came to cast down demons.

As for the people of Xiniu Hezhou, if they do not believe in Buddhism, they will be ravaged by demons. If they believe in Buddhism, they need to pray devoutly day and night, and they need to work diligently to offer incense and incense to provide the power of all beings for Buddhism.

Therefore, one Buddha and one demon, the former reaps the faith of the human race, and the latter reaps the flesh of the human race, always keeping the human race in painful and numb torment. Fang’s suffering in this life, each of them wants to practice the next life, and practice the Dharma in reincarnation, and finally achieve success. A day of Buddha.

This situation is definitely the result of long-term deliberate maintenance, and it is by no means a coincidence.

In the eyes of the Buddhas in Lingshan, it doesn't really matter whether it's a human or a demon, what matters is the incense and the power of vows.

As for the practice of Buddhism, the magic lies in a "major wish".

If Taoist monks accumulate one step at a time, and the results will naturally increase, which can be regarded as the "saving practice method", then Buddhism is the "huabei practice method."

If you want to improve your morality, you need to make a great wish first. The most famous great wish in Buddhism is the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's "hell is not empty, and you will not become a Buddha".

First borrow a meritorious loan from Tiandao Bank to improve your morality, and then spend the rest of your life to slowly repay your wish.

There are three advantages to doing this.

First, the demand for all kinds of natural treasures and miraculous medicines has been greatly reduced, and merits are almost omnipotent, so the cost of cultivating monks is much lower than that of Taoists of the same realm.

Second, even if the great wish you made is not completed for a while, at least the realm of Taoism has been raised first, and the ability to fulfill the wish has also been greatly improved, which is not a loss at all.

Third, practicing with the method of making great wishes lowers the requirements for aptitude and comprehension a lot. The realm that cannot be broken through in normal practice can be broken through with the method of making great wishes.

But with benefits, there must be a price.

The fulfillment of the ambition is inseparable from the power of incense and fire, so monks have to spend a lot of time dealing with ordinary people, which is far less carefree than Taoist priests.

Moreover, the merit owed to Heaven not only has to be repaid, but also has interest. If you become an old man for a long time, you will be targeted by Heaven.

Therefore, "it is not difficult to borrow and borrow again", the great monks grew up step by step in the infinite cycle of "making great wishes and fulfilling their wishes", and each and every one of Arhat Bodhisattva and Buddha emerged.

This point still has to be admired. Xiniu Hezhou is quite barren, which is similar to Beiju Luzhou, and far inferior to Nanfangbuzhou, let alone Dongshengshenzhou.

However, in the land of one continent, Buddhism has cultivated almost the same number of Daluo Jinxian and Jinxian as Daomen, which shows how powerful the "Huabei Cultivation Method" is.

However, after accumulating for a long time, "Huabei" must be repaid after all. As more and more merits are owed, the KPI assessment pressure of Buddhism is increasing, so we have to adopt the most utilitarian way to harvest incense and vows .

That is to let the monsters wantonly bully and slaughter the human race, and the human race has to seek the protection of Buddhism, worship and pray day and night, and turn it into the most efficient incense and wish machine.

But such an "inner circulation" also has a limit, and in the end, it must also be developed outward.

Beiju Luzhou is sparsely populated, and wars are constantly raging. The local aborigines, regardless of human monsters, are basically ruthless people who "look life and death, and do it if you don't accept it".

Dongsheng Shenzhou is the territory of the Taoist sect. I don't know how many immortals and gods are here. No matter how greedy the Buddhist sect is, they can't do it directly.

Therefore, the only new market that can be opened up is Nanfang Buzhou.

But in today's Nanfang Buzhou, the human race's power and Taoism are inextricably linked, and there is no living space for Buddhism at all.

Even Theravada Buddhism has not been spread in Nanfang Buzhou, let alone Mahayana Buddhism.

How valuable is the Buddhadharma comprehended by such an eminent monk who is completely out of touch with the human race to ordinary people who are struggling in the world?

If the KPI-oriented rules of "Incense and Vow" do not change, even if there is a Buddhist master who is fully enlightened, he will not be able to change the status quo at all.
