Maudgalyayana continued on his path of destroying demons, while Rahula became mad because of the Buddha's extinction and became a star that disturbed the sky, and so on.

But no matter what, as the Buddhist sect in the nine lands of the world has disappeared, the evil path is no longer bound by any shackles.

Li Qi wanted to be this shackle, as a second-grade, and exist as a 'demon enemy'.

After getting the guarantee from the Golden Monkey and then setting up the "Qi Palace", Li Qi's second goal was to visit the many great Bodhisattvas in Buddhism.

Buddhism has ready-made great Bodhisattvas that can be utilized.

Therefore, after arranging many screened people in Qi Palace, Li Qi decisively went to find Maudgalyayana.

Having endured such a huge trauma, and now that his master and fellow apprentice have both passed away, he has become more determined to save the world with his supernatural powers.

In a 'dream city' in the void.

The Demonic Path is far more than just a dream city, and it’s not even the largest one in the world.

The largest one should be the Desire Realm, but now the Desire Realm is in the hands of Wu Xian.

The Desire Realm is a second-level existence. It has copyright, cannot be copied, and is unique, so there is really no way to create another one. The Demonic Path has indeed lost its greatest 'Dream City'.

But they could make more.

Without the Buddhist siege, places like the City of Dreams have sprung up like mushrooms in the universe, and Maudgalyayana is a hard-working gardener who has to destroy one every day before he can fall asleep.

Li Qi was now able to observe the entire universe without any obscurations, so he found him easily.

"Maudgalyayana." Li Qi took a step forward and came to Maudgalyayana's side.

"The great Bodhisattvas are all attendants of the Buddha. Now that the Buddhas have retired from the world, they must have their own plans. I cannot guarantee that they will agree to you. After all... it seems that destroying the demons is not so necessary today." Maudgalyayana sighed and said so.

"Since it is not so necessary, why do you still insist on destroying the demon?" Li Qi asked.

Maudgalyayana smiled but did not answer.

There is really no need to say more about this issue.

"By the way, where are the people you rescued?" Li Qi asked again: "A planet with a structure like the Dream City can accommodate a large population. Where did you send them? I saw that many people seemed to have died there just now." Li Qi observed the planet behind him that was gradually collapsing, feeling a little curious.

He could actually directly observe what happened in the past, but Li Qi would not do so easily.

Maudgalyayana said: "I gave them a way to leave, this is the 'Mahayana'."

The affairs of the world are like an endless sea of ​​suffering, and the great "乘" refers to "carrying". The method that can carry people through the sea of ​​suffering is "乘".

Correspondingly, the method that only allows oneself to survive the sea of ​​suffering is called "Hinayana", and the method that allows all sentient beings to survive the sea of ​​suffering is called "Mahayana".

Sentient beings do not need to be saved by Bodhisattvas; they can save themselves.

The original pursuit of Mahayana Buddhism is... that all sentient beings are Buddhas.

  Since all sentient beings are Buddhas, why do we need others to save us?

Therefore, Maudgalyayana did not use his supernatural powers to save them, but instead gave them ways to save themselves. As long as they did it, they could escape from the city of dreams.

If they were unwilling to leave and save themselves, Maudgalyayana would bury them along with the city of dreams.

It is obvious that after the Buddha's death, Maudgalyayana's methods became much more brutal, but they also seemed particularly satisfying.

Buddha does not save people, sentient beings save themselves.

All the methods have been given to you. If you are still unwilling to move, then there is no point in saving you.

"But if you do this, you won't become a good person anymore, and they won't be grateful to you," said Li Qi.

This sentence seemed to have touched a nerve in Maudgalyayana, causing him to suddenly stop smiling and say solemnly: "They have never been grateful."

Then, he concluded: "To express gratitude to an individual requires effort, but to thank the Buddha requires only words."

"Besides, when one is powerless, stupidity becomes the last line of defense. Stupidity can prevent people from collapsing. This is also a kind of 'primitive instinct'. It is painful to stay awake all the time. After all, it takes courage to awaken." "Many people are unwilling to awaken, not because they are stupid, but because they are timid and unwilling to let down their defenses."

"So, why bother with it?" said Maudgalyayana.

After hearing what Maudgalyayana said, Li Qi looked at him carefully.

After the Buddha's death, this "first in supernatural powers" changed a lot.

Li Qi did not comment on this idea, neither agreeing nor denying it, but just said: "It's good that you don't have any burden. What about the recommendation?"

"Do you want to rebuild Buddhism?" asked Maudgalyayana.

"Of course not. There is no need for that. I just want to destroy the demons. At least, I want to stop the demons from being so arrogant. This requires a very powerful force to support it. If possible, I hope to get help from the former Buddhist sect."

"That's a good thing. Okay, I will introduce you, but it will take some time. I will contact the Bodhisattvas who attend the Buddhas and try to get them all to come." Maudgalyayana nodded.

The attendant Bodhisattvas are the top great Bodhisattvas.

The attendant Bodhisattvas of Medicine Buddha are Bodhisattva of Sunlight Illuminating and Bodhisattva of Moonlight Illuminating.

The Bodhisattvas attending the Tathagata are the great wisdom Bodhisattva Manjushri and the great action Bodhisattva Samantabhadra.

The Bodhisattvas attending Amitabha Buddha are the Brave and Powerful Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta and the Compassionate and Merciful Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara.

There is no doubt that these great Bodhisattvas are all of the top second grade. If Li Qi can get their help, his plan will definitely take a big step forward.

"I can't guarantee it, but I will try my best." Maudgalyayana said, and then disappeared from the spot, probably going to do something.

Li Qi watched the other party leave.

  While waiting for news, start your own plan. You can't just sit there doing nothing, right?

Li Qi began to carry out his own actions, but another question began to linger in his mind.

What is the relationship between humanity and the way of reason, the relationship between humanity and modern Buddhism, and the relationship between humanity and the worldly sect of Taoism?

Especially humanity and reason.

Li Qi has already learned that Li Dao and Dao Men are preparing to achieve their ultimate goal through humanity.

  That is to say, after humanity replaced heaven with man, it created humanity as the 'first cause', and then asked how the first cause was born?

The reason for the birth of the first cause was created by the Dao of Reason and the Daoist school.

Who created the Tao and the Dao Sect?

Of course it is the first cause, which is created by humanity.

It’s like… a myth came true.

When the world was first created, humans wrote the first myths.

In the process of mythology, humans created gods.

Then the myth became true. In the myth, it was God who created man.

So, God created man, but man also created God.

So was it man who created God, or was it God who created man?

  Was it the Li Dao and the Xianshi School that created the human way after man replaced heaven, or was it the human way that created the Li Dao, and then they created themselves?

They are mutually causal and the cause of each other, thus determining each other's existence.

  Maybe... Li Qi's current structure can also explain it?

For example, Li Qi’s current state is actually very contradictory.

If we simply split Li Qi into a "group" consisting of many individuals to understand Li Qi at this moment, then this may provide a brief understanding of Li Qi's state.

However, this dichotomy is too simplistic and a distortion of "reality".

There are obviously many contradictions in Li Qi. Using "classification" to separate the many fragments of Li Qi and to explain these contradictions is easy to understand, but it is wrong.

Because, for Li Qi, in every moment of his life, in every action and every feeling, it is impossible to judge what proportion each fragment accounts for, and what proportion reason and emotion account for.

If you try to separate his fragments, you will immediately get into trouble, because he cannot be explained so simply. His composition is extremely complex, and it is extremely stupid to simply divide him into fragments and the main body.

Li Qi's essence is far from being composed of just two factors, but tens of billions, hundreds of billions of factors. His life is a swing between hundreds of billions of pairs and countless poles.

If Li Qi can achieve this mysterious state, then it is not impossible for humane people to perform this operation.

The reason is simple, Li Qi's state is a chaotic pool of mathematics that cannot be understood by logical thinking.

Different solutions arise due to undecidable assumptions. Since no logical system can contain enough concise arithmetic axioms to become complete, statements that can neither be proved nor falsified can always be deduced from the axioms. This is Li Qi's current state.

Since logic itself is incomplete, Li Qi can construct many completely different logical systems. His ontology is no longer a metaphysical existence, but a huge and ever-increasing set of contradictory logic.

If contradictions can exist in Li Qi, in the universe, and in Taiyi, then there is no reason why they cannot exist in humanity.

After all...the law of contradiction is a limitation of the inherent structure of the human brain, not an iron law that cannot be broken.

You can imagine those optical illusions. The visual system of the human brain thinks they are valid, but the thinking system thinks they are not valid.

As shown in the picture below, there is a staircase that is climbing up and going down at the same time.

If one has enough capacity, this does not seem to be an unachievable feat.

But those are things for later.

Li Qi’s thoughts on humanity ended here.

We should still consider the affairs of the demonic world. Humanity is no longer the biggest enemy.

If you must say it, Li Qi doesn't even have much conflict with humanity.

Today's Li Qi is closer to the side of the 'God', and his relationship with witchcraft is also more subtle.

After all, Li Qi denied the supreme status of the 'Ultimate Way' and the existence above all things, which also means... Li Qi is unwilling to acknowledge the existence of the ultimate power of 'Nature'.

However, Li Qi still acknowledged the existence of nature, but no longer accepted that nature could control everything, so he was still considered a branch of witches.
