Chapter 1046

Speaking of Buddhism and Taoism, I have to mention a special person, that is Murong Xuan, the wife of the head teacher of Taoism.

She was born in the Murong family, which is as famous as the Ye family. After Qiu Ye was accepted as a disciple by Zichen, the old head teacher of Taoism, she was also sent to Buddhism by her father Murong Yuan, and she was led to practice as a woman.Strictly speaking, she is actually a disciple of Buddhism. The relationship between her and Qiuyue, the abbot of Buddhism today, is similar to that between Qin Mumian and Wanyan Beiyue. They are both senior sister and junior.

At the beginning, Murong Xuan and Qiu Ye became Taoist couples, Buddhism is "mother's family" and Taoism is "husband's family". The marriage of the two even indirectly led to the joining of Buddhism and Taoism. Zong, Buddhism fought against Xuanjiao, and finally had the great power of today's Daqi.

Because of this, Murong Xuan came in person for every Buddhist Obon Festival, which somewhat meant "going back to her mother's home".

It's just that this year is an exception, the person coming from the Taoist sect is not Murong Xuan who is known as the "Teacher of the Supreme", but Chen Ye, the number two figure in the Taoist sect, which made many people smell something different.

The Buddhist Ancestral Court is located in the territory of the three northeast states, which are Youzhou, Liaozhou, and Jinzhou. Among them, Liaozhou is the closest to Houjian, and the northern capital is built in this state, while Jinzhou is a little farther away, but it is the northeast military force. The root of Ma Zheng, as for Youzhou, is the most prosperous place among the three northeast states, and it is the most important place for taxation among the three states.

In the border area between Youzhou and Liaozhou, there are continuous mountains, mostly evergreen forests, the mountains are covered with snow, but the mountains are green.Different from the Huangsha Gobi in the northwest, the most notable thing here is the snow. The thick snow is so white that it makes people feel dizzy, especially in the mountains and forests. You can only go up the mountain on foot. Walking in the mountains, looking around, the mountains are high and the forests are dense, and the green forests are layered. You can't see the end at a glance. You can only see the snow-covered mountains in the distance through the gaps between the branches and leaves. hill.

After going northward for more than a hundred miles, the sight suddenly opened up, and I saw a tall mountain range that stood out from the mountains and forests in the north.

This is the Buddhist Ancestral Court.

The Obon Festival is a big festival. In order to welcome the 24th year of Taiping, the monks in the Buddhist ancestral court, regardless of their status or seniority, are preparing for the Obon Festival. No exception.

From this point of view, Buddhism is not like Taoism. Although it pays attention to rules, it is far from strict rules, and it is not as well-defined as temples. Compared with the lofty Xuandu, this place is more like a place outside the world.

As the Obon Festival approaches, monks from all over the world begin to arrive one after another. On the stone path for climbing, there is an endless stream of visitors, with different costumes, different accents, and different customs, and none of them is penniless. Ordinary people, even if they have one, are big figures with indescribable status. They are accompanied by brilliant guards, which is enough to see the grand occasion of the Buddhist Obon Festival.

The mountain gate of the Buddhist gate is located halfway up the mountain. After passing the mountain gate, there is a ten-mile-long Shinto path, and at the end is a majestic Buddhist temple like a city, which is not inferior to the Molun Temple on Daxue Mountain.

Numerous Buddhist caves, large and small, have been dug out on the cliffs around Shinto and Buddhist temples, the most striking of which are the five giant Buddhas and six Bodhisattvas arranged in a cross according to their positions.

On the far left is the Oriental Medicine Master Buddha, and beside him are engraved Bodhisattvas of the Sunshine Universal Shining and the Moonlight Universal Shining Bodhisattvas.

The one on the far right is Amitabha. Buddhist disciples believe that Amitabha mainly uses his vows to lead sentient beings to the Land of Ultimate Bliss and escape from the cycle of suffering. Therefore, he is also called the Buddha of Reception, Infinite Light, and Buddha of Infinite Life. Taoists call him a guide. Beside Jieying Buddha, there are also Great Brave Bodhisattva and Great Compassionate Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, who are the three saints of the Western Paradise.

The top one is the ancient lamp-burning Buddha, the past Buddha, and the bottom one is the fifth Buddha Maitreya Bodhisattva, also known as Donglai Buddha, because Maitreya Buddha is the future Buddha, and the Maitreya era has not yet come, so it is still in the Tushiyuan as a Bodhisattva at this time , so it is also called Maitreya Bodhisattva.

Located in the middle of the cross is the fourth Buddha who is in charge of the current central whirling world, Sakyamuni Buddha. The so-called Buddha Tathagata is this Buddha. Taoism became Manjusri Guangfa Tianzun and Puxian Zhenren, the three sages of the central whirling world.

The combination of these five great Buddhas is the Buddha of the third time vertically and vertically.

Around the five Buddhas and six Bodhisattvas, there are also various Buddha statues.

There are Buddhas holding the fearless seal, there are Buddhas holding the inner lion seal, there are Buddhas holding the outer lion seal, and there are Buddhas holding the inner lion seal.

There are bodhisattvas holding the vase seal, there are bodhisattvas holding the inner seal, and there are bodhisattvas holding the outer seal.

There are five great kings of Ming who hold the immovable seal of the king of Ming.

On the left side of the cliff, there is a goddess Feitian, and on the right side of the cliff, there is Dharma Guardian Jialan.

There are Arhats on the lower left, and King Vajra on the lower right.

Under the Buddhas, there are eight dragons, corresponding to the eight tribes of Buddhism.

One day group, two dragon groups, three yakshas, four gandharvas, five asuras, six garudas, seven kinnaras, and eight mahurakas.

In addition, there are many cliff carvings.Except for the huge "Buddha" character written by the second generation of Buddhism himself, there are dozens of stone carvings such as "I see Tathagata" and "Thus I hear", which are densely packed. Earth fairy, rise up the book.Among them, Xiao Yu, Emperor Taizu of the Great Qi Dynasty, left the largest number of stone inscriptions, which is the most eye-catching.

Undefiled and pure light, the sun of wisdom breaks through all darkness, can subdue disasters, wind and fire, and illuminate the world with universal light. If people want to know, all Buddhas of the three times should contemplate the nature of the dharma world, and everything is created only by the mind. There is nothing like a Buddha in the sky and in the world, and the worlds in the ten directions are also incomparable.I have seen everything in the world, and there is nothing like a Buddha.

There are 68 characters in total, with iron hooks and silver strokes, plump and magnificent, as if they were accidentally obtained by heaven and man, with profound artistic conception and long charm.

In the mountain-climbing crowd, there was a couple of young men and women who looked like husband and wife. The man didn't notice anything, but his white hair was a bit dazzling, but the woman was different. In between, she showed her dignified demeanor, she was definitely not the daughter of a small family, she was probably a lady from some aristocratic family, but for some reason, she married a poor boy, in the eyes of outsiders, that was a branch The flowers were inserted into the cow dung, and when the other men on the Shinto looked at the white-headed boy, most of them were unabashedly envious and jealous.

It is said that a clever woman often sleeps with a clumsy man, and the ancients never deceived me.

At this time, the husband and wife stopped and looked at the stone carvings left by Emperor Taizu. It is true that she is a talented woman, she must be from a scholarly family, but it is a pity that she married an ignorant man.

It just so happened that there was still a group of people climbing the mountain at this time, including men, women, and children. They happened to hear the woman's words, and the old man who led them stopped and thought deeply.
