Desert Island Survival Diary

Chapter 11 Day 2, It's You!

Chapter 11 No.12 Days, So It's You!

Today, the weather is not particularly good.

The wind is quite strong, and the dark clouds are moving fast in the sky.

Rain is my biggest worry.

Because my shelter is totally unstoppable.

I don't want to live a wet night without a campfire.

So early in the morning I started working on my shelter.

I need coconut leaves.

That thing is not easy to handle. Last time I fell down and lay down for a day, I still have lingering fears to this day.

There's no way, though, and those giant leaves are my only option now.

Coconut trees are hard to climb, but today I should not fall again.

Because I came up with a brilliant idea.

The idea came from the way I used to oversee powerline repairmen working.

They usually have a safety line that wraps their waist around the pole so that if they miss, they don't fall straight down.

So I also found a very long vine, tied it around my waist first, then went around the whole coconut tree, tied it around my waist, and finally put myself and the coconut tree together.

In this way, it is much easier, and I can basically climb a section and rest for a while.

When resting, I just need to gently clamp my legs between the trunk and lean back against the vine, tightening me and the trunk so that I don't fall.

This method is very good, although it is a bit slow, but it let me go up to the bottom of the huge blade without any risk.

I have to say, the leaves of this coconut tree are very difficult to get. I think I have been knocking on them for at least an hour without getting even a single leaf off.

My hands were so sore, and my cervical spine couldn't bear it when I lifted my neck for a long time.

Around noon, I finally knocked off four leaves because my stomach started growling.

"It should be barely enough." I comforted myself.

The weather has changed really fast. It was just a few dark clouds just now, but now raindrops have begun to drip.

After evenly covering the top of the "hut" with the leaves of four coconut trees, I fixed them with vines.

After I finished the work, I walked around the "cabin" and found a new problem.

Although this open space is like a pot cover, it is not easy to accumulate water, but the area around my "hut" is very flat.

So I need to dig a few ditches to prevent the rainwater from pouring into the "hut".

Fortunately, the rain hasn't really started to fall yet.

Digging the soil with branches is difficult, I don't know how many branches I broke.

For the water diversion ditch, I only dug less than five centimeters deep, and I know that this depth is far from enough.

If it rains continuously, it will be difficult to channel the rainwater down.

But there is no way, I have no iron.

Finally, I dug all four drainage ditches around the "hut".

The door is estimated to be too late.

I want to make all the preparations before the heavy rain comes.

The suitcase was dragged into the "cabin" by me.

The boards I picked up before were laid on the "bed".

Now, I need to stock up on some food and firewood.

I didn't discover my shortcomings until now. I'm not a delicate person. I could have prepared these things long ago. I didn't start until it was about to rain. Fortunately, it was not too late.

I went straight into the woods, dead branches, fallen leaves, as long as they were not too wet, I picked them up into the hut.

Going back and forth like this several times, I looked at the firewood I picked up in the hut, and I thought it should be enough for me for about three days.

The raindrops are a little bigger than before, but they haven't fallen big yet, and they still fall slowly, so I still have time.

I found that I fell in love with coconut crab recently. The indescribable fragrance often comes to my mind. Just thinking about the taste will intensify the secretion of my saliva.

In order to get it, I just picked up a huge stone when I was picking up firewood. I thought, as long as I was hit by this half-head-sized stone, it would become my food.

Fortunately, I found a few in the coconut grove in a short time, but I didn't catch too many. The food is not easy to preserve, and I want to eat fresh ones.

After bringing back the unlucky coconut crab and the two fallen coconuts, I went to the river to catch another fish.

The rain suddenly became heavier at this time.

Before I could react, I was surrounded by a white rain curtain.

I'm running as fast as I can, and I have to get some fruit from the fruit tree.

The raindrops were heavy, and it hurt a little when it hit my body.

Ever since my last experience in the cave, I've had an instinctive fear of rain.

Fortunately, the river is not very far from my shelter.

Although I was drenched, I was slightly relieved that the "hut" was not wet.

After putting the fish down, I hurried to the fruit tree to pick the juicy red fruit that I ate the most.

At this moment, I saw a black shadow out of the corner of my eye!
All of a sudden, goosebumps all over my body came up. Although I was wet all over, I wasn't cold just now, but now I feel like I'm frozen.

I hurriedly looked back.

I see it!
Black, nearly one meter high!In a flash!

what exactly is it!
The instant fear made me feel nothing when the fruit in my hand fell to the ground.

I was very scared, because the moment I turned my head just now, I seemed to see an eye!
That eye is staring at me, I don't know if it sees me as food.

I don't know why it is spying on me in the dark!
Fear didn't keep me thinking.

No one would wait in place in such extreme fear.

It's gone now, but I don't know if it went around my back, and I'm back in my "cabin" as soon as possible.

Soon, I hid in the hut, and I inserted the branches neatly. In order to prevent unknown creatures from rushing in, I used several branches to block it from the inside.

The thick branches for self-defense were also placed by my side.

The fire was lit by me.

The book is right, people will gradually calm down under the firelight.

That's how I feel, under the firelight, I will have a sense of security.

Then, my thoughts started racing again.

At the moment just now, because of the rain, I couldn't see very clearly, but I think that thing is very likely to be a black panther, um, or a wolf.

Sadly, neither of these animals was something I could easily handle.

Be more careful afterwards.

The rain outside was getting heavier, and the coconut leaves on the top were crackling.

Rainwater seeped in under the pile of firewood on the side, and it was likely that the gutter over there was too late to drain.

But I dare not look now.

Suddenly, my nerves jumped.

Sombra, my God!
Through the gaps in the branches, I saw a black shadow leaning against my "hut"!
It is coming!
What does it want to do?

My heart almost jumped out of my throat!

At this time, I didn't dare to make any sound.

"Pull"!It is chopping branches! ! !
I even saw a sharp claw with a cold light!
I'm about to suffocate!

"Shut up" it let out a heavy snort!
