Desert Island Survival Diary

Chapter 42 Day 4, My Little Yard

Chapter 42 No.40 Days, My Little Yard

After these treasures were planted, I watered them again.

It’s a bit embarrassing to say, I’ve never grown vegetables before, and I don’t know if it’s the right way to do it. I just hope they can really grow. Even if only one seedling emerges in the end, I will definitely take good care of it it.

In order to prevent Xiao Hei from stepping on it unintentionally, I used some small branches to surround this vegetable field.

Looking around, at a glance, there is a little bit of home here...

Treehouses, vegetable gardens, fences...

However, there is still some gap between this and my ideal small courtyard, and I still hope to improve it as much as possible.

It often rains here, and every time it rains, it will inevitably become very muddy here. This kind of experience is very bad, so I dragged the plastic box of rotten cabbage that I got from the cabin to the foot of the mountain, not to find Instead of food, pick up rocks!

There are a lot of gravel near the gentle slope at the foot of the mountain. These small gravels are also what I need. I picked them up and put them into plastic boxes.

Some flat, slightly larger stones were also put in by me. Because there were too many, it took me almost no time to fill up the plastic basket.

However, I seem to have forgotten one crucial question...

The plastic basket is very heavy when it is full, and it is likely to break when I hold it, and whether I can hold it is still a problem.

So, I have to think about transportation again...

Fortunately, I thought of a solution that is not the best.

It’s still vines. I first went to find a few vines, lifted one end of the plastic basket, passed the vines through the bottom of the plastic basket, and then, after wrapping around the entire plastic basket, knotted and tied it to death.

The five vines all operate in the same way.

I did this to minimize wear and tear on the bottom of the plastic basket, and then, the rest would be vines that I tied tightly around the side of the basket and the other end around my waist!

Fortunately, it went very smoothly, but it was really tiring.

With the stones and rubble down, I set off again...

There were about eight times in total. I saw a lot of stones and gravel, and I stopped and continued to move.

That's right, I'm ready to start implementing my idea.

I plan to pave these stones into a path from the gate of my yard to the hut, vegetable garden, swing, drying area, etc...

I want to create the feeling of a winding path leading to a secluded place. I think if the paving is good, this should not be impossible.

I try to avoid the place where the sunlight comes in directly through the shade of the trees, and lay stones under the shade of the trees. In this kind of environment with sparse shadows, it is easy for people to relax naturally and create a contented mood.

This should be what I was expecting.

The big stones are laid by me according to the size and shape, according to the imagination in my mind.

Of course, there is some distance between each stone, almost exactly one step away.

The reason why it is paved like this is to save stones. After all, it is very tiring to transport this ghost thing. Another point is that I have seen them pave gravel roads or cobblestone roads in civilized society before.

So, according to my imagination, I also finished the shop step by step.

Some big rocks are not so smooth, I try to put the uneven side below, dig out some soil, and try to ensure the flatness of the rocks.

Those small stones were all embedded in the gaps in the middle of the big stones.

In this way, when I was squatting dizzy, my head was numb and my legs were numb, I finally finished paving the gravel road from the tree house to the entrance of the yard.

"Huh!" I took a deep breath, stood up, and took a few mouthfuls of fresh air.

This kind of action can relieve my fatigue a little.

I can't rest yet...

The construction of the yard did not meet my requirements, so I can't rest yet.

In the yard, there are still many places that can be used. I decided to develop a small garden and transplant some of the outside, different, small wildflowers that exude various fragrances. Floating around, the key small wildflowers don't need to be taken care of yet.

Such small wildflowers are everywhere, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. All kinds of colors are competing for splendor. I don’t want to eat it, so I don’t need to worry about whether it is poisonous. It should take about an hour or so. The small wildflowers with various scents , It has been covered with the plastic basket that was used to transport stones just now.

Nature is so amazing that the scent of these little flowers is like a mixed perfume!
It smells like lavender, peony, etc., even apple and taro!
Of course, there are also stinky ones. No, the one I picked just now smelled like rotten eggs. I even took a deep breath and almost died of suffocation.

Of course, I didn't pull out these small flowers in the plastic frame directly. I dug out their roots directly with a knife, and dug out their rhizomes together with the soil.

Um!Just like transplanting trees, these small wild flowers dug out with mud clods were finally placed in the basket very carefully by me.

Planting flowers is not difficult. The area I divided into a small garden belongs to the area that can receive sunlight. It is on a raised piece of land next to the tree house, and it is not easy to accumulate water here.

Speaking of stagnant water, I haven't dug the drain these days. It rains a lot on this small island, but because the good weather these days has paralyzed me, I almost forgot...

"Hey, the brain is such a good thing." I rubbed my temples.

All the small wildflowers have been planted, and there are not many. This is also an experiment. I don't want to do useless work. If the experiment is successful, I can expand the scale.

Originally, I was going to rest, but once I thought of the drain, I thought of the experience of being ill last time, the feeling of life and death struggle, which made me shiver under the scorching sun!
The sun was about to set, and my kitchen knives were digging hard. To be honest, this knife helped me a lot, and the digging speed was much faster.

The digging of the drain went well, my treehouse was originally on slightly raised ground and I dug a drain all around to connect them with the outside of the small yard I just dug around the yard connected.

Finally, I dug a big hole in the moat-like drainage ditch outside the yard, and then it can lead to the sunken woodland ahead.

In this way, when it rains, even when it rains heavily, as long as the large sunken woodland in the distance is not submerged, my hut will be extremely safe.

After this series of hustle and bustle, I have a complete backache all over my body.

Let's get something to eat with Xiao Hei, but just as I was about to go back, I seemed to see a dark shadow in the hollow in the distance.

But upon closer inspection, it disappeared again.

Maybe my eyes were dazzled, I shook my head, turned around and walked towards the tree house...

It was recommended on Sunday, and I hope everyone will continue to support it, so stay tuned for the explosion on the weekend!Hit me with a ticket! !
