Riding the wind of rebirth
Chapter 1349 Ancient Books, Calligraphy and Painting Restoration Research Institute
When it comes to Zhou Zhi, just when life is about to get easier, three more mountains fall on him.
The first thing he asked for was the construction of the campus network and BBS forum.
In fact, Clover Company has been developing this structure, and the main designer is Zhou Zhi. As the system maintainer of the Tianya Forum in the previous life and the executive leader of the Couplet Poetry Forum for several rounds, he is very familiar with this model.
Of course, Zhou Zhi believes that having only one forum is not enough, and a real-time chat tool is also needed.
Now these two softwares have been iterated to the beta version and are undergoing a new round of testing. The official launch names have been decided.
The name of the forum is "Haiji Forum", which refers to a poem by Wang Ruyu of the Ming Dynasty, "The sea is at the edge of the divine sea, and the sky is connected to the edge of the rising sun."
The chat tool is named "Blue Bird", which means "Blue Bird is diligent in exploration."
The second item is the three-piece set of Internet access - browser, portal website, search engine, which should also be put on the agenda.
But the last thing was added on the spur of the moment, without any careful planning.
In order to welcome the opening of the new Sichuan University Museum in July and the opening of the Three Gorges Cultural Preservation Fund Research Institute, there are a large number of cultural relics in the museum that need to be restored urgently in order to successfully install the exhibition.
Director Yuan of the restoration institute asked Zhou Zhi to join the restoration work. Calligraphy, painting and ancient books are his specialty. It would be a waste to have such a person. Not only should he be allowed to repair the paintings, but he should also be allowed to lead a team!
The bosses from the Chinese Department and the History Department thought it made sense. The "Complete Map of Bashu" that had been carefully restored had been jointly commended by the Ministry of Culture, the Cultural Relics Bureau, and the Cultural Relics Appraisal and Protection Committee. This kid couldn't be treated as a student.
The Sichuan University Museum has a collection of nearly 4,000 calligraphy and painting collections, ranking first among university museums in the country and having a complete range of categories.
From Huang Gongwang and Wang Meng of the "Four Yuan Schools" to Shen Zhou and Wen Zhengming of the "Four Ming Schools";
From Chen Chun, Lu Zhi, and Zhou Zhimian of the "Wu School" to Dong Qichang, Chen Jiru, Zhou Tianqiu, and Li Rihua of the "Wu School";
From Zhu Da, Shi Tao and Hongren, the "four monks" of the Qing Dynasty, to Wang Shimin, Wang Jian, Wang Hui and Wang Yuanqi, the "four kings" of the Qing Dynasty, they all have collections.
There are also works by representatives of many painting schools, including Fan Yi, Zou Zhe, Wu Dan and Wang Gai of the "Jinling Painting School"; Dai Benxiao of the "Huangshan Painting School"; Yun Shouping of the "Changzhou Painting School"; Wang Shishen, Zheng Xie, Gao Xiang, Jin Nong, Li Wei, Huang Shen, Li Fangying, etc.
Others include masterpieces by famous calligraphers and painters from the late Qing Dynasty and modern times, including Zhao Yong, Chen Hongshou, Wei Zhike, Fang Yizhi, Gao Qipei, Gao Fenghan, Li Shizhuo, Deng Shiru, Wu Changshuo, Zhang Daqian, Xu Beihong and others.
There is no shortage of rare and unique items, many of which cannot even be found in the Forbidden City and the National Museum of China.
In the national census of ancient calligraphy and painting organized by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage in 1989, more than 300 calligraphy and paintings in the Shu Museum were included in the national cultural relics grade standards, and more than 140 were included in the "China Painting and Calligraphy" published by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. Catalog of Ancient Calligraphy and Paintings.
These are just the calligraphy and painting collections of the Shu University Museum. Others, such as porcelain, stone carvings, Tibetan cultural relics, ancient books, ancient folklore collections, cultural treasures, etc., are all very complete collections with profound research value.
Seeing Zhou Zhi appear in the restoration center, Director Yuan smiled and said: "Look, hiding here and there is part of your job." Zhou Zhi was helpless: "I didn't hide either, it's just because I'm busy , so busy that I don’t even have time to go to class.”
"What other classes are you taking? Aren't you capable of giving lectures?" Yuan Dongjue said jokingly: "Isn't it time to get a professional title evaluation next year?"
"Teacher Yuan, you know how to laugh at people." Zhou Zhi said, "Didn't Mr. Gu put that course on the shelves?"
"But to be honest, although university mainly relies on self-study and classroom study does not play a major role, if you find any questions during self-study, you can ask it and I will help you find a teacher to teach you!" Director Yuan said: " We must do a good job, but we must not fall behind in our studies!”
"Dean Gu has just told me this." Zhou Zhi complained: "You are all venting your anger through one nose, and you don't mention reducing my workload."
"Those who are capable work hard. Who makes elbows so capable?" Director Yuan took out a list: "The state of the calligraphy and painting here is a bit worrying. What the school means is that there are several heavyweight collections in July. It would be best if you can meet the visitors of the new museum. Let’s see how many of the items I ticked off can be achieved.”
Zhou Zhi looked at the list. There were hundreds of long and short items on it: "Scrolls of Buddhist statues in the Song Dynasty...Scrolls of Chun Shan Yin Oh" by Huang Gongwang and Wang Meng...Scrolls of "Imitation of Ni Yunlin's Brushwork" by Shen Zhou..."Scrolls of Imitations of Wang Meng" by Wen Zhengming "Scroll of Landscape with Brushstrokes"... Liu Rushi's "Album of Grass and Insects"... Bada Shanren's "Scroll of Hibiscus and Double Punches"... Jinnong's lacquered book hall... this... this, this..."
"How is it?" Director Yuan asked.
"Uh... If I want to say that I want to practice cultivation, wouldn't it be a bit too positive? Isn't it too positive that I don't know the heights of the world?"
"Hahaha..." Director Yuan was amused by Zhou Zhi: "I should have resorted to this trick to deal with you a long time ago! Are you afraid that you won't come to the door obediently?!"
After speaking, he took the list and scrolled: "That's it, you don't have to worry about anything after the mid-Qing Dynasty. Start from the mid-Qing Dynasty and then push forward. Of course, you have to leave enough time for the cultivation of Ming paintings..."
"The main thing is to give the leaders some reassurance first, and get some results out there for them to see, so that they can rest assured when you repair the painting," Director Yuan said, "There is also the repair paper you got from the National Museum of China. And the Shu Ling I got from Master Yang, let’s see if it can be used..."
Zhou Zhi felt a little stupid when he heard it. Director Yuan said it lightly. There are only two months left until July. So many things need to be repaired in two months, and they have to be done in batches. How can we leave enough time to repair Ming paintings?
If you think about it, you can only be cruel: "I need a team."
"That's what I meant." Director Yuan was very happy that Zhou Zhi took the initiative: "There are many seniors and sisters in the institute who admire you, please teach them more!"
"When do we start?"
"You can start now."
"Okay, then let's go to the warehouse, diagnose the diseases of the ancient paintings that need to be restored, divide the tasks, and come up with a restoration plan in the next two days."
The Ancient Book Calligraphy and Painting Restoration Institute of Shu University was originally a small unit affiliated to the Shu University Library. It was originally called the Ancient Book Restoration Institute. After Zhou Zhi came to Shu University, he repaired several cultural relics, especially the " After "The Complete Pictures of Bashu", the Party Committee of Shu University decided to take advantage of the establishment of the new museum to place the Ancient Books Restoration Institute under the name of the museum, become a sub-unit of the museum, and rename it the Ancient Books, Calligraphy and Paintings Restoration Institute.
