Riding the wind of rebirth

Chapter 1378 Return to Peking University

Chapter 1378 Return to Peking University

After the restoration of Rong Baozhai's paintings was completed, Cui Ruzhuo also completed his creation.

The picture is a huge lotus pond. It has been transformed from the previous sixteen single drawings into a whole picture, nearly nine meters long and nearly three meters high.

This is the largest format framing that needs to be handled thoughtfully and of course requires preparation beforehand.

Haichao Temple originally had wooden floors, so Zhou Zhi asked Ma Ye to hire a decoration team and build a huge pine board platform on the ground.

Lifting rings were also installed on both sides of the platform, and gourd cranes were hung on the beams in the hall to transport and hang paintings.

The first thing to do is to take the painting off the easel.

This is quite simple. The easel is made by covering it with cloth, laying paper, brushing the base paper, brushing double layers of drawing paper, and brushing alum glue. Now you only need to separate the paper from the cloth, and you can successfully remove the painting.

However, because it is too large, it can only be separated from one side with a shovel, and then rolled up as it is taken out, and finally made into a picture scroll.

After that, the scroll needs to be laid face down on a huge pine board covered with plastic film, and then the backing paper behind it is separated from the center of the painting. This step is like the first step in mounting and restoration, the revealing paper.

This step actually requires carefulness. The work is so big that it needs to be sprayed with water to flatten the center of the painting. There should be no air bubbles under such a large area of paper, and the overall humidity needs to be uniform. It is actually quite challenging.

The last remaining work is to inlay the painting with gold edges and cut it into pieces. The entire work is considered complete.

After finishing all these with paste, Zhou Zhi hung a large pine board and pressed it on the back of the painting. He removed the humidification equipment, dragged an electric blanket and laid it on the thin pine board. He heated it at a gentle temperature until the center of the painting reached the ironing point. Smoothing and accelerated bonding effects.

Finally, Zhou Zhi came up with a good idea, which is to nail a frame around the pine board to store water and soak the whole drawing paper in the water. After all the backing paper is removed, the center of the drawing is arranged and all air bubbles are eliminated. The water is sucked away, thus ensuring uniform humidity throughout the nearly 27-square-meter scroll.

After the painting core is dry and still slightly moist, hoist the thin pine board with a gourd, remove the plastic cloth on the surface of the painting core, repair some unsatisfactory bonding areas, and iron it once with a low-temperature iron. It's completely finished.

Originally there should have been two final steps of unveiling and framing the painting, but for the convenience of display, Zhou Zhi did not do any more. Instead, he directly added a decorative frame around the thin pine board and added reinforcing ribs behind the board to complete the painting. The giant Chinese painting eventually named "Lotus Wind in the Golden Age" was hung in Haichao Temple and displayed to the public.

The life paper is also made of Zhangba Daxuan, and the back frame is made of white silk. For such a large painting, fabrics can only be used to enhance the strength.

The next task is to compete with the evaporation of water. I carefully arranged a humidifier, closed the doors and windows of the hall, ensured the indoor air humidity, suppressed the evaporation of water vapor, and added new life cards and backgrounds to the heart of the painting as quickly as possible. frame.

When you need to change the display location, just take off the painting again, transport it to the new location and reframe the painting.

Because it has a silk backing, it is very simple to unveil the painting.

Cui Ruzhuo and Zhou Zhi stood in front of the completed "Lotus Wind in the Golden Age", both of them were very satisfied.

"Elbow, please write a few more words for me, and I'll make a wooden plaque and hang it at the gate." "Okay. What are you going to name it?"

"How about calling it Hefeng Hall?" Cui Ruzhuo said, "It happens to be close to Shichahai, so doesn't the name suit the occasion?"

"It seems pretty good." Zhou Zhi laid out the paper and picked up Cui Ruzhuo's painting brush: "There is a large painting hanging on the wall facing the entrance of the main hall, and eight first drafts are hung on each side. It is really full of lotus breeze!"

"How about you write one on the pine board first?" Cui Ruzhuo said, "I'll take it outside the door and hang it up in a while. I'll take the paper manuscript and make a plaque."

"Why are you in such a hurry?" Zhou Zhi wrote on the rice paper with a flourish, a little proud of the three big characters that captured the essence of Huang Luzhi.

"CCTV will come for an interview in a while. If we have to shoot at the door, it won't even have a name. It's inappropriate." Cui Ruzhuo's voice revealed a bit of showoff that couldn't be concealed: "This matter also has something to do with you. After a while, Together we will?"

"There has never been such a rule since ancient times." Zhou Zhi shook his head, found a suitable pine board, and rewrote the words "Hefeng Hall": "I have never heard that when introducing a painter's paintings, he also introduces the framer. , you have to bear the burden of this matter yourself, I have to go to Peking University to visit two senior brothers in a while."

There are many students at Peking University during the holidays, but they are not the kind to study. A row of guitarists sit under the shade of the trees by Weiming Lake, exchanging "For Alice".

With the popularity of campus folk songs, classical guitar, as an important musical instrument of folk songs, has become a must-have weapon for people in the "music circles" on university campuses.

If you play "Für Elise" well, it is said that you don't need to learn anything else, because you won't have a chance and you will be knocked down by the girls.

However, Peking University can only be considered a weakling in the field of campus folk songs. Among the three birthplaces of folk songs in the capital, the masters are first at the Capital Institute of Technology, followed by Tsinghua University, and Peking University can only be ranked third.

Capital Institute of Technology produces guitarists, Tsinghua University produces poets and singers, and Peking University produces... heroines.

Don’t think that students from prestigious schools are all good. In this era of fluttering white clothes, according to a famous poet from Tsinghua University, Tsinghua boys have three treasures: playing football! fight! Play the piano!

However, Peking University has good reasons why Polytechnic University and Tsinghua University produce poets, singers and guitarists. What is the purpose of singing, writing poetry and playing guitar? It is to give hormones an outlet, to attract the attention of the opposite sex, and to pick up girls!

In Tsinghua University, where the male to female ratio is six to one, and in Science and Engineering, which is seven to one, how can they highlight their presence if they don't do this? How do you compete with six or seven other classmates to get a girlfriend? !

Looking at our Peking University, the male to female ratio is one to one. What is this called? This is called the harmony of yin and yang, and the harmony is abundant. When the rooster comes, our school doesn't need to crow, so why sing a bad song!

In the Computing Center of Peking University, Leng Yulong and Wei Yixin walked in with a few students. Seeing Zhou Zhi who was communicating with the person in charge of the center, they smiled and said: "It's OK with your elbows. Throw them in papayas and hug them with Qiong Yao. It's like an ancient gentleman." The wind is nothing more than this!"

Zhou Zhi quickly stood up and shook hands with Leng Yulong and Wei Yixin gratefully: "Two senior brothers, if it weren't for the "Sea of Words" character cards you generously provided, it would have taken at least one or two years for our project to start the third phase. How dare you think so quickly!"

Wei Yixin smiled and said: "We really didn't expect it to be so fast. We thought it would be good if we could complete the font library at most, right senior brother?"

Leng Yulong also said: "Yes, I never expected that you would turn our "Sea of Words" into a digital book. It does not mean that this technology is not fully mature, and the recognition is not high enough to be used as a scanning input tool. Is it used by digital libraries?”
