However, if the scanned pictures are packaged together, "Zizhi Tongjian" has a total of nearly 12 volumes, more than pages, and two pages with one picture, which will require at least G. Even if the image is compressed, at least one or two G is needed.

In 1994, when the hard drive space of home computers was only one or two gigabytes, it was really a luxury.

Therefore, it is necessary to collect the layout information of various versions of "Zi Zhi Tong Jian", then find the patterns, and process them through programs. When readers browse the classics, the page format and text can be matched and temporarily "drawn".

This function does not need to take up a lot of space, and it is not difficult to implement.

With these two functions, the simplest and original "Digital Library" version 1.0 can be released.
