Riding the wind of rebirth

Chapter 1457 Shibao Village

Chapter 1457 Shibao Village

"It is said that when Xuanzong ascended the throne, the first person he thought of as prime minister was Bai Juyi. However, when he issued the edict, he learned that Bai Juyi had passed away for eight months. He wrote this poem in sadness."

"How big of an official did Bai Juyi become?" Li Laosan was trying to remember: "Isn't he some Jiangzhou Sima, a small official in a green robe?"

"Hahaha..." Zhou Zhi replied: "That's because he was the emperor's secretary at the time. Because Prime Minister Wu Yuanheng was assassinated, he went to the court to demand a strict investigation of the murderer. He offended the powerful and was demoted to a green-robed official."

"In the end, after only four years, he returned to the capital, put on a red robe, and became the Zhizhigao, which represented the emperor's fifth-grade pen. Seven years later, he wore a purple robe, and became the Secretary Supervisor, which is the director of the emperor's Archives Administration. A year later, he was promoted to Minister of the Ministry of Punishment and granted the title of Baron; a few years later, he became the Prince's Young Master, was assigned to the Eastern Capital, and was granted the title of County Marquis; and finally he became the Minister of the Ministry of Punishment, which can be regarded as the highest level of the second rank. "

Zhou Zhi told the story of Bai Juyi as he walked along. After entering the gate, he saw a semi-circular lotus pond, full of green water and full of vitality, which contrasted with the flowers and plants in the garden.

"This was Longchang Temple first. Bai Juyi visited here and wrote "Longchang Temple Lotus Pond": 'The new autumn water is cold and green, and the red and half-broken lotus flowers are left. It has always been lonely and lonely, unlike this pool.' At that time, he was The darkest time in my heart.”

"When Jiangzhou Sima's green shirt is wet, it becomes wet?" Wei Fei said he didn't understand.

"After all, this is the first time I have been demoted." Zhou Zhi explained: "After that, there were ups and downs, and I got used to it..."

"Hahahaha..." This explanation was very reasonable, and everyone felt happy.

At the west end of Baigong Temple is a rare magnolia forest. The locals call it the Yellow Heart Tree.

The largest yellow heart tree is five feet tall. It survives the winter. Its body is like a green poplar, with white leaves. Its leaves are like osmanthus. It is thick and spineless. Its flowers are like lotus. It blooms at the beginning of April and begins to wither in only twenty days. It is said that Bai Juyi was there. The tree species that Chungju loved most when he was an official.

In addition to these, there is an ink-washing pool and a bronze statue of Bai Gong in the garden. The east and west sides are separated by flower walls. The terrain is higher in the east and lower in the west. The houses in the south are built along the slope, which is a shipbuilding showroom.

There is also a pavilion Zuiyin Tower with a complex structure. Sixteen columns support a main building and four gate towers. Visitors can enter and exit from all directions and climb up to a four-column and three-story high pavilion to take a long view.

The entire Baigong Temple is very quiet, with few tourists, and the buildings do not have the "spicy smell" of newly built buildings. They are antique because they were built to a very high standard in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Everyone who plays here feels like they are... I really came into contact with the "nostalgia for the past".

"This is actually the first 'Dongpo' in the history of Chinese literature." Zhou Zhi said: "When Bai Juyi was demoted here, the reason used by those who attacked him was that Bai Juyi's mother fell into a well while admiring flowers, but he I wrote two poems, "Appreciating Flowers" and "Arai".

"In fact, if you really study the time when the two poems were written, you will know that the attackers are slandering. The main reason is that they demanded a strict investigation into the assassination of the prime minister and offended the powerful."

"After arriving here, Bai Juyi planted a large area of flowers on the slope outside Yongchang Temple in Chungju as a place for his own interest and appreciation, and named it 'Dongpo'."

"It's interesting." Zhang Lu thought clearly: "Bai Juyi had a Dongpo, and Su Shi also had a Dongpo; Bai Juyi had a Baidi, and Su Dongpo also had a Sudi. Are these two people in a relationship?!"

"Hahahaha..." Zhou Zhi had never thought of this problem himself, and when he said this to Zhang Lu, he couldn't help but laugh.

The Baigong Temple itself is not big, but with Zhou Zhi there, he walked around this small place for a long time, and everyone still enjoyed it. It was already noon after we came out. We all had a meal of the famous Chungju Tofu Fish in the best restaurant in the county, and then headed to the next stop, Shibaozhai, which is also an important cultural relic site that urgently needs to be inspected and rescued.

Shibaozhai is located on the north bank of the Yangtze River in Zhongxian County, 45 kilometers away from Zhongxian County. It is known as the "Pearl on the River".

Here, near the river, there is a huge stone with a height of more than ten feet and a solitary peak. It is said to be a multicolored stone left by Nuwa to mend the sky, so it is called "Shibao".

And because the stone is shaped like a jade seal, the mountain where it is located is also called "Jade Seal Mountain".

At the end of the Ming Dynasty, Tan Hong revolted and called himself "King Wuling". He built a stronghold based on it, and "Shibaozhai" came from this.

Shibaozhai was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and was completed during the Kangxi and Qianlong years.

The earliest Shibaozhai only had a temple on top of the jade seal stone. It was climbed up by iron chains, which was extremely steep and dangerous.

Later, in order to make it easier for people to go up the mountain, they built towers leaning on Yuyin Mountain. They towered against the mountain, with flying eaves and wings, and a strange shape.

The final Shibaozhai became a building built against the mountain consisting of the village gate, the village body, and the stone temple on the top of the village. It was originally nine floors and later expanded to 12 floors. It was entirely made of wood and had a high height. It reached fifty-six meters.

The gate of the village is a masonry structure, more than six meters high, with the three characters "Xiao Penglai" inlaid in porcelain. This is the origin of the name Shibaozhai "Linjiang Xiao Penglai".

On both sides of the village gate, there are reliefs such as "Five Dragons Holding the Saint" and "Nezha Making the Sea", which are exquisite, detailed and lifelike.

In addition to its long history, exquisite structure, majestic and beautiful architecture, and exquisite sculpture decoration, Shibaozhai is important for another important reason - it is the largest and most layered wooden structure in my country.

Today's Shibaozhai is still a famous tourist attraction in the Three Gorges. It is crowded with tourists, traveling up and down, and it is very lively.

But in the cultural protection office on the side, Zhou Zhi and others learned that the project that was about to start here was also very urgent and expensive.

"After the Three Gorges impounds water to generate electricity, the water level of the Yangtze River will rise to the entrance of Shibaozhai, and a lake of more than 120 acres will be formed around the village. Shibaozhai will turn from a mountain village into a 'water village', seriously threatening the safety of cultural relics. "The leader of the Shibaozhai cultural protection project team is also an old man in his fifties or sixties. He is elegant and bookish, but he only wears a white vest and a straw hat hanging on the back of his head. It seems that he has just returned from inspecting the construction site. Holding a big teapot in his hand, he drank herbal tea while introducing the progress of the project to everyone.

Shibaozhai is an immovable cultural relic and is a national-level key cultural relic protection unit. Of course, even if it is an immovable cultural relic, it will have to be relocated as a whole when there is no other way. This does not need to be considered.

However, Shibaozhai is very special. The highest top floor is actually built on the jade seal stone, which is directly above the mountain, while the eleven floors below are built along the mountain and sideways on the mountain. Although It looks like one whole thing from the outside, but it's actually two parts.

If you want to move it intact and restore it to its original state, you have to move the jade seal stone together.
