For example, if you would grind off the bottom marks of the fine works of the Tongzhi and Guangxu dynasties that imitated the previous three dynasties, then take the bottom of a piece of discarded Kangxi and Yongzheng porcelain and repair it neatly, and inlay it on the bottom of the Tongzhi and Guangxu porcelain. The value of the porcelain would instantly increase tenfold or a hundredfold.

Now this plate is so beautifully made, but the bottom is just short of telling others blatantly - "I am a fake". Even antique imitations don't do this.
