But where did Han Gaozu come from, Shiji Sima Qian called it: Gaozu Benji.

Gaozu has the meaning of first ancestor: Gaozu is the name of the distant ancestor. "Zuo Zhuan · Zhaogong Seventeen Years": "Tanzi came to court and said: 'My great ancestor Shao Haozhi is also established.'" The first ancestor is regarded as the great ancestor.

Who is the ancestor of the Han Dynasty?Undoubtedly Liu Bang.

At the same time, Ban Gu Hanshu also used this title. During the Eastern Han Dynasty, everyone acquiesced to one Liu Bang for Han Taizu and Han Gaozu.

It is most appropriate to call it, although all the princes and people in the world think it is appropriate.Ministers and others are planning for the ancestral temple and the country, and dare not ignore it.May the king be fortunate enough to listen to his ministers and so on.I would like to worship the emperor's seal and amulet again. "

There is an explanation in the book "Detailed Explanation of the Han Dynasty", which states: "Gai Bang (Liu Bang) was assigned to heaven and earth, and he was the great ancestor, and the honorary name was added to it. Although Zhaomu's Taizu Temple, this is also the temple of Gaozu. "

Therefore, Han Gaozu and Han Taizu are both Liu Bang, and there is nothing wrong with calling them at the same time.

This is also because some brothers asked the protagonist to call him Gaozu of Han Dynasty. The protagonist can't bear it. The ancestor of Han Dynasty: only Liu Bang.

Only Liu Xiu was the most qualified to be called Zhongzu in history, but the Eastern Han Dynasty said that the transfer of his inheritance rights had nothing to do with the previous Western Han Dynasty. He finally chose the ancestor, and later generations returned to the Yuan Dynasty. All are transfers of inheritance.

It can be seen that the honor and prudence of the temple name in the Han Dynasty is different from that of later generations; and only 4 emperors in the Western Han Dynasty had temple names, and 8 in the Eastern Han Dynasty; even Emperor Jing of the Han Dynasty did not have a temple name.There were actually only 3 in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Cao Rui even directly decided on his own temple name before his death: "In the first year of Jingchu, there was a priest: the emperor is the ancestor of Lie, and he is an indestructible temple with Taizu and Gaozu. Follow it."

Cao Wei no longer abides by the principle of "referring to the ancestors with meritorious service, and calling the ancestors with virtue".

Even the later generations of the Ming Dynasty were called the Son of Heaven, and the temple name was Yingzong, which was shameless.

Therefore, the protagonist's temple name Zu is affirmative. The Chengzu I gave before will be changed later.

The temple numbers are as follows:
The first Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty, Liu Bingji, was worthy of the name, but he was not the founder, and he used his ancestors instead of his ancestors. (Liu Che and Liu Xiu are both worlds)
Sima Rui, the second Emperor Zongyuan of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, was the founding king of the country, but he had no merit. He only dared to use the ancestors but not the ancestors.
