Call of the Heroes of Chaos in Another World

Chapter 1784: The Iron-blooded Prime Minister, the Chief General of Athens, the Chief Planner of Yua

Chapter 1784: The Iron-blooded Prime Minister, the Chief General of Athens, the Chief Planner of Yuan and Qing Dynasties, the Sage of All Ages

"Ding, the fourth person, Wang Dan, 95 in politics."

"Ding, the fifth person, Feng Yi, intelligence 97."

"System, remove Feng Yi and Wang Dan, and summon the remaining three people: Zhufu Yan, Wei Xiaokuan, and Yang Tinghe."

"Ding, congratulations to the host for obtaining Yang Tinghe, Command 38, Force 45, Intelligence 91, Politics 99, Charisma 87.

Implanted identity: A county magistrate in Yannan.

Carried by: Yang Tingyi, Yang Shen, and Zhu Houzhao.

Yi Yin and Huo Guang, because of their unique experiences, have almost become a unique benchmark for ancient civil officials.

Yang Tinghe's experience was almost the same as Huo Guang's.

Like Emperor Zhao of Han, Emperor Wuzong of Ming did not leave any descendants after his death, so the issue of the emperor's successor became a big problem.

Yang Tinghe's seniority is as old as Huo Guang's. He started serving as an official during the reign of Emperor Xianzong Zhu Jianshen of the Ming Dynasty. By the time of Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty, he was already a veteran who had served through three dynasties and had become the person in charge of the cabinet. Except for the fact that he had no military power, he seemed to be not much worse than Huo Guang.

So when the issue of the throne arose, he immediately "took on this responsibility" and quickly decided to appoint Prince Lixing Zhu Houzhao as the next emperor without any extensive democratic consultation.

After the future Emperor Jiajing came to Beijing, Yang Tinghe, like Huo Guang did back then, gave Zhu Houcong a small test.

At that time, Yang Tinghe's request to Zhu Houcong was that you can no longer let your father be your father. You should respect Ming Wuzong's father, Xiaozong, as your father, and call your own father the Imperial Uncle instead, and then ascend the throne as emperor with the etiquette of the crown prince.

If Zhu Houcong had followed Yang Tinghe's routine completely, it would mean that he did not "legally" inherit the throne according to Zhu Yuanzhang's "Huang Ming Zuxun", but was "fortunate" to become emperor because of the support of Yang Tinghe and others. Then everyone in the world would know that Yang Tinghe had the merit of supporting him, and Zhu Houcong would not only have to accept the "grant of imperial power", but also be grateful to Yang Tinghe for his "cultivation" at all times.

If Zhu Houcong was a prince with "questionable origin" like Liu Bingyi, and Yang Tinghe was a person like Huo Guang who was in charge of both military and political affairs and could depose and enthrone the emperor at any time, or if Zhu Houcong was a child who knew nothing, then Yang Tinghe might succeed.

But before Zhu Houcong was invited to be the emperor, he had already inherited the throne and did a good job. This shows that Zhu Houcong was not only smart, but also had practical experience.

Moreover, the military power of the Ming Dynasty had long been divided, and the prime minister of the cabinet did not have the ability to cover the sky with one hand.

Therefore, this seemed to have doomed Yang Tinghe to future tragedy.

In the third year of Jiajing's reign, Yang Tinghe resigned and returned home;

  In the seventh year of Jiajing's reign, Yang Tinghe was convicted;

In the eighth year of Jiajing's reign, Yang Tinghe died of depression.

It has to be said that among the heavenly-level summoning, a talent at the top of the heavenly level was summoned. The harvest from this summoning was almost reaching the top.

At any level, those who can reach the peak of that level are definitely the top of the pyramid at the same level.

"Ding, the God-level Talent Summoning Card is opening..."

It's time to summon another top strategist!

actually!

Wang Yu has never lacked advisers.

However, it would be a pity if the counselors under his command were just counselors.

Like his earliest adviser, Gao Jiong, who followed him since the beginning of the Rebellion of the Three Kings, or for example, Guan Zhong, the current Governor of Hebei Province, or Zhuge Liang, the Prime Minister of Dongyi State, aren’t they all powerful advisers?

Not only were they great counselors, but they were also the leading figures of an era.

However, in addition to being a counselor, they are also a politician.

Going further, Xun Yu was also a powerful counselor and an excellent strategist, but at the same time, he was also an even better politician.

The value of a counselor or a general can never be compared with that of a politician. Whether it is a counselor or a general, if they want to achieve something, they must have a politician behind them to back them up.

It was precisely because powerful strategists such as Gao Jiong, Guan Zhong, Zhuge Liang, and Xun Yu were all away from home and in control of local power that there were only a few people around Wang Yu who were truly capable of making great contributions.

In particular, among them, there is Jia Xu, who has always worked but not contributed. Of course, even if he contributed, his suggestions were never Wang Yu's first choice.

If he were to make suggestions like a serious person, it would be difficult for him to surpass Zhang Bin or Yao Guangxiao, unless he could show his own characteristics. But if he did show his own characteristics, then, with his style as a poisonous scholar, those means would only be used as a last resort.

"Ding, first person, Bismarck, intelligence 101."

  hiss!

First, a top figure came!

Of course, those who can become god-level talents are all top figures!

But this person is clearly the best among the best!

In the second half of the 19th century, a politician known as the "Iron Chancellor" emerged on the European continent. He was Otto von Bismarck, the first chancellor of the German Empire.

At that time, the German region was still in a fragmented state, with a total of 39 independent states. Bismarck believed that the unification of Germany was the only way to national rejuvenation.

To this end, he proposed the "iron and blood policy", that is, to achieve the unification of Germany through war. Under his leadership, Germany achieved unification and became one of the most powerful countries in Europe.

In order to achieve unification, Bismarck led Prussia in three dynastic wars.

The first was the Prussian-Danish War of 1864, in which Prussia and Austria joined forces to defeat Denmark and incorporated the Schleswig-Holstein region into Prussia.

This was followed by the Austro-Prussian War of 1866, in which Prussia defeated Austria and took control of the German Confederation.

Finally, in 1870, the Franco-Prussian War broke out, with Prussia defeating France and successfully establishing the German Empire.

During Bismarck's three dynastic wars, the course of the war was actually not important. The most important thing was that, for example, during the Austro-Prussian War, Bismarck was able to use diplomatic means to block other countries' support for Austria, which shows how powerful his political skills were.

After defeating Austria, Bismarck did not pursue it relentlessly, but chose to negotiate with it, because destroying Austria was only secondary, and unifying Germany was the most important.

From this we can see that during Bismarck's reign as the Iron Chancellor, he actually always used political means to achieve the goal of German unification, rather than just relying on so-called military force.

He understood the limits and costs of victory, accurately started and ended local wars, exchanged limited costs for relatively large gains, accurately used the subtle changes in the relationship between allies and enemies to gain the greatest benefits, and finally completed the unification of Germany. After unifying Germany, Bismarck was not satisfied with the status quo. His vision went beyond the borders of Germany and began to display his diplomatic talents on the broader European stage.

By establishing a complex system of alliances, Bismarck successfully placed Germany at the center of European politics.

This person is exactly the same as Zhuge Liang or Guan Zhong. Their most fundamental attributes are still those of politicians.

As for this person, his political attributes are definitely higher than his intellectual attributes. Such a person is naturally the top person among the top people.

"Ding, the second person, Fan Wencheng, intelligence 100."

He can be regarded as the best counselor and the chief civil official in the early Qing Dynasty. He was a strategist who assisted four generations of emperors of the Qing Dynasty: Taizu, Taizong, Shizu and Shengzu.

After the Battle of Ningjin, he suggested peace talks with the Ming in order to buy a breathing space; he proposed the strategy of conquering Mongolia, appeasing Korea, and recruiting Ming generals, which reversed the unfavorable situation of the Later Jin; he used a counter-espionage plan to get rid of Yuan Chonghuan, causing Zu Dashou to escape back to Jinzhou, and allowing the Qing army to withdraw from the Great Wall calmly; when Li Zicheng entered Beijing, Dorgon was hesitant, so he proposed a strategy of entering the Great Wall as soon as possible.

Most of the systems and laws after the Qing Dynasty entered the country were created by him. He was the main planner and behind-the-scenes promoter of the Qing Dynasty's strengthening of central power and vigorously promoting sinicization. Fan Wencheng made great contributions to the establishment of the Qing Dynasty, and his shadow can be seen behind many things.

"Ding, the third person, Pericles, intelligence 100."

The quality of this summoning is really outrageous!

Bismarck was a Guan Zhong and Zhuge Liang-like figure, and this one is also a Guan Zhong and Zhuge Liang-like figure.

Although Wang Yu's original intention of summoning the god-level talent this time was to summon a counselor, if he could summon another such person, then even if Wang Yu had to go against the original intention of the previous summoning, it would not be impossible.

When talking about Greece, Athens and Pericles are always mentioned. His era is the golden age of Greece, and it can even be called the Pericles era.

He rebuilt Athens from the ruins after the Persian Wars, fostered culture and art, and many of the existing ancient Greek buildings were built during his time. He also helped Athens defeat the Spartans in the first phase of the Peloponnesian War.

More importantly, he fostered the democratic forces that were considered very radical at the time. His era is also known as the Age of Pericles, the most glorious era in Athens, which produced a group of famous thinkers such as Socrates and Plato.

Under the leadership of Pericles, Athens' slave economy, democratic politics, maritime hegemony and classical culture reached their peak.

"Ding, the fourth person, Liu Bingzhong, intelligence 100."

Because the Yuan and Qing dynasties were two special eras when two regimes were established by ethnic minorities, and they were also unified regimes.

Therefore, for various reasons, many people seem to have overlooked some of the great figures of these two eras, especially some Han people of these two eras.

But in fact, whether it is Fan Wencheng or Liu Bingzhong, they can be the chief civil servants or counselors of an era, and their abilities are definitely not inferior to some outstanding people of other eras. Fan Wencheng was the first counselor and civil servant in the early Qing Dynasty, while Liu Bingzhong was the first counselor and civil servant in the era of Kublai Khan, and the only Han person in the Yuan Dynasty who was granted the title of Three Dukes.

When mentioning the "prime minister in black", some people's first impression will be the name Yao Guangxiao.

But in fact, the Yuan Dynasty also had a "prime minister in black", that was Liu Bingzhong.

Liu Bingzhong may not be well-known among the people, but his historical contributions are very great.

Kublai Khan discussed the affairs of the world with Liu Bingzhong and once proposed a plan to destroy the Song Dynasty. Liu Bingzhong suggested to Kublai Khan that they attack the Song Dynasty from three directions: the eastern route to take Nanjing, the central route to take Xiangyang, and the western route to take Sichuan and Shu. If they want to conquer the world, they must not kill people...

From then on, Liu Bingzhong stayed in Kublai Khan's court as a monk to provide him with advice.

Later, Liu Bingzhong proposed fourteen strategies for Kublai Khan to stabilize the country:

1. You can conquer the world immediately, but you cannot rule it immediately. Kublai Khan should be the Duke of Zhou of Mongolia.

2. Appoint generals and ministers, and enfeoff the descendants of founding heroes as governors of counties throughout the country, rewarding them for their merits and punishing them for their faults.

3. The taxes on the people are too heavy. Please reduce the burden on the people, set the salaries of all officials, and prohibit officials from arbitrarily deciding life and death.

4. Reduce the number of death penalty cases and conduct repeated reviews of death penalty sentences.

5. The people are the foundation of the country, and their debts should be forgiven.

6. Establish commercial taxes and encourage agriculture and sericulture.

7. To run schools and hold imperial examinations to recruit scholars.

8. Recruit the people to engage in production, reduce excessive taxes and levies, and the state will provide support for the widowed, the orphaned, and the lonely.

9. Respect Confucius, recruit Confucian scholars from all over the world, and seek out famous scholars to serve the country.

10. Promulgate a new calendar and compile the "History of Jin".

11. Scholars will be exempted from tax, and those who have a skill will be retained and put to use.

12. Open up channels for communication, stay away from villains, and stay close to gentlemen.

13. Do not talk about profit and reduce the gap between the rich and the poor.

14. Establish laws and regulations, make criminal laws lenient, and prohibit harsh laws and punishments. Improve the court system and win over the hearts of the people with official positions.

In 1259, the Mongol Khan Mongke attacked Diaoyucheng in Sichuan and was shot dead under the city. A vacuum of supreme power appeared in the Mongol Empire, and Ariq Boke, who stayed in the northern desert, and Kublai Khan, who attacked the Southern Song Dynasty, each used their own means to fight for the Khanship.

Kublai Khan stopped attacking the Southern Song Dynasty and led his army back north. Liu Bingzhong suggested that Kublai Khan should take the throne first to gain a political advantage. In the spring of 1260, the Kurultai Assembly was held in Kaiping and the coronation ceremony was held. On May 5, Kublai Khan ascended the throne and became the emperor of the Great Mongol Empire, the Great Khan of the Mongol Empire.

At Liu Bingzhong's suggestion, Kublai Khan adopted the emperor system, calling himself "Zhen", establishing the reign title "Zhongtong", and using Kaiping as the "Shangdu". This move caught Ariq Boke off guard. Ariq Boke also called himself the Great Khan in Khorin.

The two men each received support from the Mongolian nobles in the north and south, and the two sides launched a decisive battle. Kublai Khan relied on the abundant human and material resources of the Han area to launch a four-year-long battle for the Khanship.

In 1261, at the Battle of Ximu Tunaoer, the Mongolian army led by Kublai Khan and the Mongolian army led by Ariq Boke met. These Mongolian armies knew each other and were brothers and relatives in the past. So they hesitated in front of the two armies.

Liu Bingzhong suggested that Kublai Khan use the Han army to bypass the enemy and launch a surprise attack. Kublai Khan followed his advice and defeated Ariq Boke's army.
