Chapter 4 Hamster
Before she met him again, she had actually tried her best to forget that memory, or in other words, downplay that nightmare.

And after the two of them met again in their hometown, now this nightmare began to appear in front of her so frequently, which was undoubtedly a test.

There are many vendors in the pet market, selling everything. All kinds of kittens, puppies, birds... There are no animals you can't see, only animals you can't imagine.

Perhaps it was because Ji Liangke was so impressed with Jiang Yuan's light-blond hair that she saw him right away.

After taking a second look, she was sure it was him.

He was squatting in front of a cage of hamsters, from her corner only his white chin could be seen.

She approached slowly, but he didn't notice.

Ji Liangke observed the surroundings, and looked up at a middle-aged man with a big belly on the steps not far away.

If she guessed correctly, that man is the boss.

"Are you the owner who sells hamsters?" She asked her question.

"A quarter of an hour ago, I was, but now, it's him." The boss pointed to Jiang Yuan who was squatting on the ground, "Just this guy, he just bought a whole cage of hamsters."

It was obvious from his tone that he thought Jiang Yuan was just being taken advantage of.

The boss counted the money cheerfully while talking-there were several red banknotes in his hand. And he counted, and from time to time, he stretched his fingers into his mouth to get some saliva.

He grinned so greasy that the corners of his mouth went behind his ears.

"Do the hamsters belong to him now?" Ji Liangke asked again.

"Yes, yes, you can go to him if you want to buy." The boss may answer questions with a smile because he has received a sum of money.

She did not speak again.

She quietly began to observe Jiang Yuan.

Now he still didn't realize that she was standing behind him.

He stared intently at the cage of hamsters, expressionless, as if immersed in his own world.

So she followed his gaze.

It was a big cage, and the cage was covered with a thick layer of sawdust. There are a lot of hamsters in it, fighting and running around, a small group but very energetic.

Because the light was very dim, she couldn't see the more specific situation clearly, she could only see a group of little hamsters shaking their bodies.Hamsters are so cute, she thought.

"Jiang Yuan." She finally opened her mouth to call him.

Hearing this, his back stiffened, and he turned around.

He looked at her indifferently and coldly.

"Do you like hamsters?" Ji Liangke asked with concern.

He snorted coldly and didn't answer. It was as if she who was talking to him now was air.

She didn't care about his indifferent attitude. She seems to have been a psychiatrist for a long time, and she is used to it. Many patients were very resistant to her at first.

Ji Liangke also squatted down, but she was looking at the hamsters on the surface, but she was looking at Jiang Yuan from the corner of her eye.

Jiang Yuan didn't like those hamsters at all.

After seeing Jiang Yuan's eyes clearly, she came up with such an answer.

Anyone who has caring and love in his eyes when he looks at his favorite animal has nothing but a void.

So, if he didn't like these hamsters, why did he pay for them?
She held her chin and thought for a long time, so dazed that she didn't know when Jiang Yuan stopped looking at the squirrel and turned to look at her.

He stared at Ji Liangke, that kind of gaze seemed to see through her, wishing to see a hole.
