Chapter 56
"Infinite Heavenly Venerate!"

Looking at the menacing dragon shadow, Taoist priest Zhang Zhou couldn't help being dumbfounded, and cried out, "What is this?"

Monk Yunzhen swallowed with difficulty, his eyes were also filled with shock and horror: "Kindness, this is the power of human merit!"

"Nonsense, of course I know this is the power of human merit, what I don't know is how it came out!"

"Nonsense, if you can save tens of thousands of Yin spirits, you can also reap the merits of humanity!"

"Nonsense, I don't know that there is merit in saving Yin spirits, but how can he, a mortal, save tens of thousands of Yin spirits?"

"Nonsense, you don't even know, how can I know?"

"..."

One Dao and one monk lost their voices in shock in the audience, but it didn't affect Su Wen at all.

On the big stage, Su Wen stood alone, overwhelmed by the raging power of human merit, he could no longer see his figure clearly, only a radiant light, divine majesty.

The power of humanity?

What is the power of human merit?

There are laws in heaven and earth, and everything is in order. Human beings are one of the myriad things in heaven and earth, and they have their own laws of human nature, standing between heaven and earth.

As long as the law of humanity is not destroyed, those who benefit humanity will be rewarded by humanity and gain merit. This is the power of humanity merit.

The power of merit is extraordinary, it can help practice, practice dharma tools, and strengthen luck. All sects, sects, schools and schools attach great importance to it.

Taking Taoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism as an example, Taoism has the method of enlightenment, Buddhism has the technique of universal salvation, and Confucianism has the study of governing the country, all of which are the methods of merit cultivation.

Therefore, Taoist priest Zhang Zhou and monk Yunzhen are no strangers to the power of human merit. On the contrary, they are practitioners of the law of merit. It is also for gaining merit.

What shocked the two of them was the origin of the power of human merit!

Su asked that a mortal who has not yet entered the Tao can actually save tens of thousands of Yin spirits and obtain the power of human merit?

This broke the cognition between Taoist priest Zhang Zhou and monk Yunzhen.

How can a mortal who is still in the Tao save tens of thousands of ghosts?
Just relying on that unrealistic, naive and ridiculous theory of Fa-rectification?
Just kidding, there is such a simple and cheap thing, the disciples of the Fa school have long been invincible in the world!
The yin and spirit are incomplete and twisted to the extreme. Even if it is the true method of Taoism and the magic of Buddhism, it is not easy to save the yin and spirit and go to bliss. At most one hundred Yin spirits can be rescued, and after the rescue, you have to cultivate, and you can't expect to recover completely in three or four months.

If you can save tens of thousands of Yin spirits with just a few words, why do you have to spend so much effort to hold this Obon Festival?

The meritorious monks of all sects and sects, I am afraid that they have been killed in the underworld long ago, and they have saved all the evil spirits and ghosts they can see, and they will not leave a single hair.

This is true for monks who practice the method of merit, let alone ordinary people.

During the Obon Festival in previous years, the purpose of this stage is only one, which is to comfort the ghosts, satisfy them as much as possible, and relieve the extreme emotions.

The real power to make all the ghosts come and walk honestly is the Luotian Dajiao and Water and Land Conference arranged by Baiyun Temple and Faming Temple. It is useless to sing [-] operas without the suppression of the two major temples.

The Luo Tian Dazhan in Baiyun Temple, the Water and Land Ceremony in Faming Temple, these two avenues held sacrifices and could only welcome and see off the ghosts, so as to prevent them from messing up and hurting people. Su Wen told stories and reasoned on the stage alone, Just save tens of thousands of ghosts?
This is completely unreasonable!

Therefore, Taoist priest Zhang Zhou and monk Yun Zhen were stunned. Looking at Su Wen who was overwhelmed by the power of merit on the stage, he felt that his three views had been shattered.

Where does this power of human merit come from?
How can these tens of thousands of ghosts be saved?

The reason for this is probably only known to Su Wen!
Amidst the boundless brilliance of meritorious virtues, Su Wen stood alone, no longer a folding fan in his hand, but a command flag, a blood-red command flag, with the four characters on the flag, Walking on behalf of the sky, also blooming brightly .

This is the key to Su Wen's conversion of tens of thousands of Yinlings.

Book Treasure——Walking the flag for the sky!

This is a treasure of humanity, a treasure of luck, and a treasure of merit. It can act for the heavens, gain merit, and enhance power.

Although this treasure of virtue has just been summoned, it is still in its infancy stage, it has limited power and mediocre effect, and it cannot directly save tens of thousands of Yin spirits, but it gave Su Wen a qualification, a Eligibility to take an oath.

Fa-rectification swears!

Based on the treasure of merit and virtue of the banner of Xingdao Dao for the sky, Su Wen took everyone as the public and the world as a principle, and made a great oath to the world and all spirits to rectify the Dharma.

Big vows and great vows have supreme power. Two of the four great Bodhisattvas of Buddhism have achieved Taoism with the power of big vows and big vows. Do everything, Fangzheng Bodhi" ambition.

This is the great vow and the great wish, with supreme power, witnessed by the heaven and the earth, and seen by the common people.

Su Wen is just an ordinary person, he is not comparable to such an existence as Ksitigarbha Guanyin, and he cannot make a vow to become a bodhisattva, but he is also qualified to make a great vow based on the flag of walking for the sky.

Everyone is for the public, and the world is in harmony!
Fa-rectification for all ages, and justice for the heavens!
This is the oath Su Wen made, the great wish he made.

With the power of this great vow, he saved tens of thousands of ghosts.

No, it's not just about superseding, but also...

"Do it for the sky!"

"Do it for the sky!"

"Born by the law!"

"Death to the law!"

Countless transformed Yin spirits came with the brilliance of their merits and virtues, and threw into Su Wen's hand the banner of Xing Tian Xing Dao, which merged with this treasure of merits and virtues.

Su Wen had a panoramic view of all this, his heart was confused, and he was speechless for a long time.

To be honest, before taking the stage, he never thought that things would develop like this, and he would act like this.

At the beginning, his idea was very simple, just to go on stage and try it out, to see if he could gain aura from ghost storytelling, that's all.

But after he came to power, because of the many ghosts and auras, his mentality and thinking changed a bit. He wanted to seize this opportunity, grab a handful of wool, and earn tens of thousands from this ghost. Some aura.

Therefore, he changed the plot. After the Pang Yu case, he added a period of conflict between the court and the court, portraying a Bao Gong who truly served the country and the people, who did not hesitate to tear off the mask of the ruling group, and confronted the emperor, the emperor, and all civil and military officials head-on.

At this time, he still came for the aura, spoke for the aura, and acted for the aura.

But in the end, for some reason, he actually made a big vow, asking everyone to be equal, the world will be united, and he wants to rectify the Dharma forever, and do justice for the heavens?
Is this change too abrupt, too blunt?
Yes, even Su Wen himself felt that this was too abrupt and blunt. What are you Su Wen? After many years, now that you have traveled through time, got a cheat, gained some capital, and gained some limelight, do you want to become a saint?

Are you worthy?
You do not deserve!
That's what saints are qualified to do.

What are you, worthy of making big vows?
Is it also worthy of calling everyone for the public, and the world is in harmony?

Is it also worthy of being called the Fa-rectification of all ages, and doing justice for the sky?

"You are not worthy, you don't have the qualifications, you don't have the ability, you are just an ordinary person, an ordinary person who is nothing without cheats!"

There seemed to be a voice in Su Wen's heart, shouting and roaring like this, asking him to recognize himself.

then……

He didn't recognize it!

Not worthy?

Why am I not worthy?
Just because I am an ordinary person, just because I am an ordinary person, just because I am a social waste, I am not worthy of such a concept, such an ambition, I am not worthy of making such an oath, such a great ambition?

Why?
Why!
Prince and general, would you rather have a kind?
The grassroots can only do the things of the grassroots, not the words of the sages, and the deeds of the sages?

Who stipulated?

Who rules!

A burst of anger, a burst of flame burst out from the voice of "self-knowledge, self-admonishment, wake up quickly, don't make mistakes", destroying Su Wen's rationality, destroying Su Wen's calmness, and making him do something. Such a crazy move.

Now, his sanity has recovered, his calmness has recovered, does he... regret it?

Do not!
He didn't regret it, on the contrary, at this moment, he really recognized himself.

That voice, the voice that shouted and roared in his heart, reminded him, warned him, and recognized himself and reality did exist, because it was his own inner voice, and it was his self-established cognitive concept and protection mechanism.

"Recognize the reality, recognize yourself, stay rational, stay sober, don't think too much, don't cause trouble for yourself, you are just an ordinary person, you have no ability to change anything, just take care of yourself and protect yourself!"

This is Su Wen's heartfelt voice.

But this Su Wen's heartfelt voice is not Su Wen's real heartfelt voice, let alone the real Su Wen.

It is a Su Wen who is oppressed, distorted, and hurt, bowing his head to reality, a false self.

Where is the real Su Wen?

In Su Wen's heart, the deepest part of his heart was sealed up by himself, just like those common people and grassroots people mentioned earlier, he sealed up his anger in his heart, the deepest part, he would not release it, dare not release it!

That innocence, that manly passion, that true self was sealed in the deepest part of his heart by himself, and replaced by a false self and a false voice that seemed sober and rational.

Do you think this is sober?

Do you think this is sensible?

No, it's fear, it's timidity, it's a surrender to reality.

The man's heart is as hard as iron, let's try it out and mend the cracks in the sky!
I Su asked, how can I not make great vows, make great oaths, and be a saint?

I just want everyone to be like a dragon, Yao and Shun in the world!
I just want everyone to be the same, and the world will be in harmony!
I just want to rectify the Dharma for all eternity and do justice for the heavens!
If you are not convinced, so what?
