Superman's Journey

Chapter 1 First Acquaintance

Chapter 1 First Acquaintance
New York during World War II.

In a dimly lit movie theater, black-and-white war mobilization advertisements are presented to everyone before the movie is played.

Either revered or disdainful, but everyone was staring at the screen, and no one noticed that a foreign visitor who did not belong to this land suddenly appeared on the originally empty corner seat.

He kept speaking English in his ears. Looking at the face with distinctive features under the blurred light and shadow, Lincoln fell into silence.

One second he was still sitting on a soft sofa chair, and the next second, he inexplicably appeared in this movie theater with a distinctive style of the last century.

And what's worse, the place where he appeared was actually a foreign country?

With black and white pictures, war mobilization advertisements, and looking at the frail young man who was dragged out by the collar by a tall gangster, he instantly understood his situation.

One coincidence is normal, and two coincidences can be explained, but three, four or more coincidences generally only appear in fantasy works.

Although the world he is in now is indeed a fantasy work.

The black-and-white movies in the style of the last century were not something Lincoln could appreciate. He pondered for a moment, stood up, and left the screening room when no one noticed him.

The moment he walked out of the movie exhibition hall, Lincoln felt countless pairs of eyes staring at him.

Without him, the clothes that do not belong to this era and the oriental face are enough to meet the curious and questioning eyes of many people.

Lincoln twitched his face twice, lowered his head to cover his face and quickened his pace, and walked out of the movie theater to the street in two or three strokes.

The sun shone through the clouds, and it was not bright, but the moment it touched Lincoln, a strange power was born in his body.

From the bones to the skin, his body was changing from the inside out, like a piece of pig iron turning into a piece of refined steel through constant burning and forging.

"This is."

Lincoln's eyes were full of strange brilliance. He rolled up his sleeves and looked at the gradually smooth muscle lines, and looked up at tomorrow hanging in the sky: "Superman's ability?"

With a trace of joy and anticipation in his heart, his eyes swept across the crowd, and finally focused on a wall. His eyes were slightly focused, trying to use his perspective ability to see through the thick wall.

But as his sight and attention continued to concentrate, he noticed the dark lines before the wall was completely seen through.

The thin golden light floated on one of the gray lines, gradually smearing it towards gold. In the dark, Lincoln had an invisible induction - smudged all the lines, and he could move the strings to go. To the next world!
Although the blooming speed is a bit slow, at least there is hope.

He presumably is a superman, but compared to being a superman who maintains world peace for many years, he may be more suitable to be a native of the motherland or even an ancestor.

The gold thread is a good opportunity.

Withdrawing his attention from the golden thread that took some time to smudge, Lincoln could easily see through the thick wall. Not only that, the moment he saw through the thick wall, he also heard the sound of punches to the flesh .

Looking at the thin figure who was constantly being knocked down but resolutely stood up again, Lincoln pondered for a moment and walked into the alley.

"enough!"

Grabbing the hammer head that was about to hit Steve again, Lincoln waved his hand lightly, and threw the American man to the ground.

Looking down at the man with a hint of resentment in his eyes, Lincoln smiled lightly and clenched his fists: "Do you need me to practice with you?"

The man struggled to get up from the ground. He looked at Steve, whose clothes were stained with dirt, and then at Lincoln, who was obviously difficult to deal with. A trace of anger flashed in his eyes: "You better watch your little friend."

"Is it."

Lincoln reached out to pick up the uneven garbage cover, and bent it casually. Amid the creaking and twisting sound, the hard metal cover was rolled into a ball of garbage by Lincoln.

Throwing away the heavy metal trash in his hands, Lincoln looked at the man who was completely stunned with a half-smile: "Do you want to be like this too?"

"You! You!" The man's eyes were full of disbelief, he pressed against the wall tightly, and moved his feet outward inch by inch, until he rushed out with a wow: "Monster! Monster!"

Unlike the panicked man, looking at Lincoln's typical oriental face and the iron shell that had been kneaded into a ball, Steve had other bold guesses in his mind: "This is kung fu? Can you tell me how to do it?" Is it possible to achieve this level?"

"This is not kung fu."

Lincoln shook his head and threw the iron ball into the trash can: "As for the method. 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, 10-kilometer long-distance running, no air conditioning in winter or summer. , Persist for three years, maybe anyone can reach this level."

Steve didn't know why, so he just took it as Lincoln's joke. He straightened his clothes and solemnly extended his hand: "Steve Rogers, you can call me Steve."

Lincoln glanced, smiled and stretched out his hand: "Hi Steve, my name is Lincoln."

"Lincoln?" Steve's eyes changed: "This reminds me of a great man."

"Maybe." Lincoln was noncommittal. At this moment, James Barnes (Bucky) in military uniform suddenly appeared behind the two of them: "I think maybe I'm not needed here?"

"No, you came just in time." Steve looked at his long-time friend Bucky and said with a smile: "This is my new friend, Lincoln. He helped me a lot."

"Lincoln?" As expected of being a good friend for many years, Bucky raised his eyebrows almost in the same way as Steve: "This reminds me of a great man."

"Unfortunately, I am not the great person you think."

Lincoln and Bucky shook hands and smiled: "But I will definitely become a famous person, I can guarantee that."

After finishing speaking, he waved his hands to the two of them: "It can be seen that you seem to have something to talk about, so you talk first, and see you next time."

Without giving them a chance to stay, Lincoln's figure quickly disappeared.

Looking back, Bucky's eyes brought some deep thought: "I think he is not simple."

Steve looked at the trash can beside him and nodded, "I think so too. I don't know if he will join the army."

"The possibility is not very high." Bucky shook his head: "His shoes are very special, I have never seen them before."

"shoe?"

What Bucky mentioned was a detail that Steve hadn't noticed. He thought about it for a while, and then gave up this futile behavior. It was only then that he noticed the green military uniform on Bucky's body, and his face immediately became pale. He became solemn: "Have you received the order?"
