Standing on the top of an animal symbolizes the conquest and control of the animal in the human world view.

Presumably the Sanxingdui people's world view should be the same.

What's more special is that there is a sacred tree engraved on a relatively wide side of the beast's chest.

This tree was directly cast on it, and it can be seen that Sanxingdui people worship the sacred tree, or they have regarded the sacred tree as a kind of god.

This is a new type of utensil that has never appeared in the Sanxingdui site.

However, this unearthed artifact provides evidence for the continuous relationship between Sanxingdui and the Jinsha site.

This unearthed artifact shows that the ancient Shu people in Sanxingdui and the ancient Shu people in Jinsha shared the same belief and worship.

Because the ancient Shu people at the Jinsha site also have many sacred trees on their utensils, which represent the worship of big trees!
Speaking of which, the styles and artistic styles of the artifacts unearthed from Sanxingdui and Jinsha are really very similar.

The ivory-patterned jade medallion unearthed at the Jinsha site depicts two groups of figures wearing high crowns, square ears, square ears, long robes and carrying ivory on their shoulders.

This pattern is similar to the pattern on the jade border chapter of the "Mountain Sacrifice Picture" in Sanxingdui, clearly showing people the scene of ancient Shu people using ivory to perform sacrifices.

In particular, the heads of the portraits are very similar to the bronze heads of the Sanxingdui site, and they may be priests or wizards.

In fact, there is a saying in the academic circles that these sacrificial pits unearthed so far may not be sacrificial pits.

But a burial pit.

According to its age, and many of the utensils showed signs of being destroyed, and the same utensil was divided into several parts and placed in different sacrificial pits.

For example, the top bronze figure with a snake body was matched with the remnants of a bronze bird-foot figure unearthed in the No. 1986 "sacrifice pit" in 2.
