Chapter 247 Compromise
The lavatory in the cabin was cleaned up, and Terry poured boiled hot water into the bathtub and flushed fresh water to about the same temperature.

Sera took the first hot bath since going to the island, and there was even dusty rose essential oil available.

She spent the day comfortably.

At the end of the evening, Losid, who returned to the bedroom with the grilled fish, found that Sera hadn't woken up after taking a nap.

He walked over with the plate and called her softly, "Get up and eat, Sierra."

Sera opened her eyes drowsily, and said in a low voice, "Yeah."

She wanted to sit up with a splitting headache, and Lorshid noticed that her cheeks were abnormally rosy.

He put down the plate and held her face up, his tone sank instantly, "You have a fever again."

"Well, probably." Sera closed his eyes halfway, touched his face, wrapped his neck around his body and leaned against him, "Maybe it was cold when playing in the water during the day."

"Impossible." Loxyd stepped back a little, pinched her lips open, pried her lips and teeth and kissed deeply.

A kiss that does not contain any love, only pity and discomfort.

"Remember, we only kissed after the game." He pressed against her forehead and said in a deep voice, "Since you came to the island, you have been getting sick repeatedly."

Sera also knew that she was like a lump of mud at the moment, and even her bones hurt.

She lay back under the quilt, knowing the reason in her heart, "Maybe my body is not used to it, it has been not very good since I fell into the sea on a previous trip."

She didn't say that it was acclimatization, but Lorshid heard another meaning from it. He lowered his eyes, and there was a gloomy look under his eyes, "You can't get enough nutrition here."

He is very smart, and has already understood that humans and mermaids receive different nutrients from the same species.

With a different living environment and different food, she will only gradually weaken.

All the beautiful things I had imagined before were shattered.

He thought they would live happily here.

An indescribable anxiety shrouded Lloyd's body.

A better Sierra cupped his face, "Hey, I'm just not used to it okay? I'm fine."

Loxyd looked at her for a few seconds, then calmed down, "Do you want some fish?"

"Of course." Sera nodded with a smile.

After eating a whole sea fish that was cleaned, even the bones were crispy, served with a cup of hot water, the satiated Sierra swayed around in the cabin before returning to bed to sleep.

Terry came to the leader and guessed what was going on.

The two stood together on the huge deck at the top of the ship, which was covered with moss.

Losid looked down at the reflection of the bright moon in the sea below, "Selah is getting sick repeatedly."

Terry asked, "Is this Sierra the one buried in the forest? Her soul has changed bodies."

He said softly, "There will be no second person."

Terry understood, and then said: "I read it in Wally's library. Sera has never lived on the island. The living environment here is too far from hers. She is not acclimatized and will only get sick repeatedly."

Losid gripped the rusty and brittle railing, and broke a section with a little force, stained with red rust.

"The vampires on the shore are watching."

And the land is the place where they are least able to exert their abilities.

Terry looked at him, "Then what are you going to do? Sacrifice Selah's health and let her stay here to adapt slowly, or follow his spouse like Zachary."

Lloyd lowered his eyes and remained silent.

Zachary wasn't that much trouble.

Terry realized the problem belatedly, he raised his hand and thought, "Maybe, um."

"Should you let Sera make a choice? Go back to the land and let her choose. Anyway, no one is willing to hurt her, right? If she loves you, she will come back to you."

As soon as Sera woke up, she received a lingering good-morning kiss.

She rubbed her eyes, "Good morning."

Loxyd turned over to hold her down, strangled her waist, and the quilt on his body slid from her back to her waist. He bent down and licked her neck carefully.

With this abnormal enthusiasm, Sierra blushed, "What's wrong?"

"How about I take you back?" He bit the flesh on her shoulder lightly and sucked, leaving red marks one after another.

Sierra froze for a moment, "Why so suddenly?"

Loxyd raised his eyes, "You owe us a choice, don't you? I think you should continue to fulfill it."

There was a sudden chill on her wrist, Sera lowered her head, and saw the fish scale bracelet on the wrist bone, she was surprised: "It's still there."

Lloyd smiled, and his eyes were dotted with stars, "I knew your soul was gone the day you died. I took off this bracelet to wait for you to come back, and then put it on for you."

"Are you really not leaving? You won't be leaving." He lowered his head and asked softly.

"The system brought my body and soul together." Sera stroked his face, "You can feel it, don't you? I don't intend to leave."

She thought she would not have the courage to sneak out again.

"I want to create a home for you on land that belongs to us. You can have a big fish pond, or you can put me in it as an ornament, you know, just like Zachary."

Lloyd looked at her. "If you like to do it."

Sera said softly, "But now there are wars everywhere."

His throat rolled slightly, and he whispered, "I won't let them rob passing ships."

Sela rubbed his face, surprised at how quickly he had made his promise.

Although the blackening value remains intact.

Losid's mobility is very strong. In the evening, the mermaid group gathered back.

They will continue to live in the sea without affecting humans.

If someone deliberately provokes them, that same human can also serve as a delicious meal.

In the evening, Sera, who couldn't get out of the house because of a stomachache, was helped to bed by Lloyd.

She thought it was quite funny, "I seem to die now if I lose you."

Loxyd touched her pale face, before he could say anything, the bedroom door was knocked open.

Terry stood at the door with a dazed look on his face, "Zachary came back with a boat."

Serra got dressed and ran out, and she could already see a little spot of light from the shoreline.

She was surprised: "Did Khalida come back with him?"

Terry: "Without a doubt."

How can it be?

This was the first question Sierra thought of.

Khalida should know her delicate body better than her. What is she doing here?
Khalida stood on the deck, staring at the island that was getting closer and closer to her.

Zachary stood behind her. "You're going to love this place."

Khalida pulled the corner of her lower lip, "I'm a little hungry, can you bring me some biscuits?"

When Zachary turned to leave, she immediately bent down and took out a firework surrounded by a pile of spices from the wooden barrel next to her.

She took out the lighter with a blank expression and lit the wire.

Losid put Sera's hat on for her, "I'll go and have a look."
