Chapter 26 The Encounter of Rosehill

Earl Leach contacted the media the night she returned, and news of her transformation from a missing person to a survivor was published in the newspapers this morning.

She did not accept interviews with reporters, and was escorted by Joey into the hospital with a basket of flowers and fruit.

Khaleda and Gigante are in a VIP ward, and both are surprised by Serra's arrival.

"When I asked you to get on the boat, you ran back. I thought you were there." Khalida leaned on the big pillow and took the peeled loquat she handed over, flattered.

Sera smiled and said, "I forgot to pick up something, thank you for calling me on board."

"Don't say that, you really are." Khaleda waved her hands, and after thinking for a while, she sighed, "You are really the most approachable noble lady I have ever seen."

Mrs. Gigante agreed beside her. She had heard about Serra and knew a little about her recent situation. She said, "I came to this small town in Cumbria County to open a charity hospital. If you are interested in joining , come to me."

Sera raised her lips, "My honor."

According to the background setting of the author of the novel, the laziness of the nobles will eventually be banned by the diligence of the middle class, businessmen and workers are the mainstream of society, and entrepreneurship is an opportunity to get rich in the early stage.

She would not allow herself to live on old Earl Lizzy's support all the time, and it would do her no harm to be on good terms with them.

Sitting in the ward for a while, Sera, who had achieved her goal, came out with a smile on her face.

"Sierra."

A deep, familiar voice without emotional ups and downs came from the side.

Her smile froze and she turned her head suddenly.

The man was wearing a black coat, standing tall and straight in the corridor with a slender figure, his short blond hair was combed back meticulously, and his pale and deep facial features were so delicate that they could never be reproduced.

Met Rose Hill here, beyond Sera's expectations.

Her eye sockets became moist in an instant, and her acting skills reached their peak at this moment.

He was only five or six meters away from her, but she seemed to use all her strength to run over.

"you are still alive."

Sera wanted to hug him, but the thought was only in the back of her mind, and she was deeply suppressed.

She forced herself to stop in front of him and keep a distance from him, carefully looked him up and down, "Did you come to the hospital because you were injured?"

Rose Hill was slightly taken aback by the girl's trembling and anxious question. He smelled her here and chose to come here because he thought she was hurt.

He said calmly, "No."

"That's good." Sera patted her chest, and the tears in her eyes shrank back, "Are you also here to visit the patient?"

He came to get some bags of blood that fit the taste, so he could eat them when he was hungry.

Rose Hill nodded, lowering his eyes to observe Sera.

He could clearly hear the desire to hug him in her mind. He moved his cold fingers in his pocket, and his fingertips swept across the lady's bracelet underneath.

Sera looked at his cold face, thinking that he didn't want to talk to her very much, so she pursed her lips and said, "I heard that Dad invited you to dinner tonight, will you come?"

Originally, I agreed to the invitation letter because I wanted to visit her.

"I'll go." He said quietly.

He is too indifferent, he doesn't like her at all, this thought lingers in his mind, and it seems to be echoing in Rose Hill's ear with a virtual megaphone.

He frowned, and suddenly wanted to say something, Sera nodded indiscriminately and said quickly: "I'll see the Duke of Rosehill that night, I'll go back first."

She didn't dare to look into the other's dark eyes anymore, she put up her skirt and hurried past him, turned and disappeared around the corner.

Rose Hill turned around, and there was a slight change in his expressionless face.

It was a torture for Serra to keep maintaining her inner thoughts and not to wander off.

She had just come out of the hospital and was about to get into Joey's car, when Eric, who was going back to the jungle, suddenly appeared in front of the car.

He grabbed Sera's arm and looked at the entrance of the hospital with vigilance, as if there was some kind of scourge inside.

The sudden force made Sera gasp, "Eric! It hurts."

Eric, who reacted, immediately relaxed his hand, "Sorry."

She held her wrist and rubbed it, "What's wrong? You didn't go back?"

"Mind if I take you home?" He looked stern.

Smelling the rotten smell of vampires from all the way, Eric couldn't help worrying about Serra.

Sera knew what was the reason, and her face was blank, "Of course."

Joey felt a pain in his heart when he saw Eric stepped into his car wearing muddy boots.

Seeing his worried look, Sera asked in confusion, "What's wrong with you? Why this expression?"

"Who did you meet in the hospital?" Eric asked seriously.

"As for the Duke of Rosehill, Mrs. Josie invited him to dinner at home tonight." Sera replied.

"Don't eat." Eric growled at her anxiously.

"Huh?" Sera opened her eyes wide, frightened by his sudden mania.

Joey kept an eye on the situation in the back row, and warned the impolite hunter, "Hey! Be careful!"

Realizing that he was too impulsive, facing Sera who knew nothing, Eric closed his eyes and opened them again, and said in a slow voice: "Don't get close to that Duke, stay away from him.

Sera was taken aback for a moment, then frowned and said, "Duke Rose Hill helped me on the boat."

"Serra, some things are not what they seem."

"Of course it's not what it looks like on the surface. The duke is what Mrs. Josie wants to arrange for Anna Xi."

Sera said unhappily, "Do you think I'm going to steal someone from Anna Xi?"

"That's not it." Eric held her hand lightly, "Anyway, can you keep a distance from him?"

Seeing his big palm on the back of his hand, Sera blushed, and whispered: "Of course."

Eric didn't send her into the manor, he got off halfway.

"Sierra." He bent over the window.

"Ok?"

He moved his lips, "Remind Anna Xi that the Duke is not suitable for her."

Sierra's shy little face suddenly drooped, and she said in a low tone: "Oh, I will convey your meaning to her."

Hearing something wrong in her tone, Eric was about to open his mouth to explain, but Joey stepped on the accelerator, and the car quickly drove away from him.

Feeling like he's messed up, Erik pumps his fist in the air twice, chagrin on his boyish face.

A whaler docks slowly near a remote beach.

In a large dark green net on the boat, a beautiful mermaid was bound and gagged.

"What do we do with this siren? He's rare."

"Ask the owner of the freak show if he wants it, he's worth a lot of money."

When the shipwreck happened, the whaling ship was trying to catch some small fish in the sea against the wind and waves. At that time, thunderclouds were rolling overhead. They wanted to draw their nets and rush back to the shore. A thunderbolt struck the sea a few meters in front of the ship. Down.

As the dazzling thunder passed, they saw the mermaid floated to the surface of the water on its belly.
