Chapter 17 Bloody Handprint
Ouyang Ji didn't come back after climbing out of the courtyard wall. In the dark courtyard, Huating was squatting in a corner alone, frowning as he listened to the constant knocking on the door.

bang bang bang! After several more beeps, Hua Ting glanced at the bronze mirror on the courtyard wall. The bronze mirror is not as bright as the mirrors of later generations. It can only see the general situation, except for a faintly passing black shadow. I can't see clearly.

Shadow! ?Hua Ting's hair was standing on end, and there was really something outside the door. The horror scenes he had seen before exploded in his mind instantly, and various scenes with disheveled hair and hideous faces rushed towards him in fear.

"Ouyang Ji!" Hua Ting wanted to cry, and called Ouyang Ji's name under his breath, but no one answered outside the wall.

boom!Boom!

There is no one outside the door, so there are only ghosts left. She is someone who died once and is afraid of what ghosts will do. Hua Ting couldn't bear it anymore, jumped up, pulled the latch and opened the door, and suddenly a black shadow rushed over...

"what!"

Hua Ting screamed in fright, raised her hand to block it but unexpectedly fell into a warm embrace.

"Don't be afraid, it's me."

Hua Ting looked up, and Ouyang Ji was looking at her with a smile on his face.

"I called you just now, why didn't you agree?"

Asked by Hua Ting with a puffy face, Ouyang Ji didn't answer.

"What, are you afraid?"

Hua Ting would not admit that she was afraid, but thinking of the dark shadow before, Hua Ting looked out the door vigilantly.

"Did you see the shadow when you came back?"

Ouyang Ji nodded, "I saw it, it's a bat, and it's not only our house that has bloody handprints on the door, but also other houses."

Hua Ting looked at the door panel, and sure enough there was a bloody palm print on the door panel under the moonlight, and there were a few dripping marks underneath.

There was a bloody handprint on the door, and vampire bats were attracted to pounce on the bloody handprint, so there was a knock on the door in the middle of the night, but who did it and what was the purpose?
"Let's go in and talk..."

As Ouyang Ji said, he turned around and closed the door. Not long after, there was another knock on the door, but this time Hua Ting was no longer afraid, and asked Ouyang Ji in a low voice.

"Didn't the others notice?"

Ouyang Ji nodded, "So we can't wipe off the bloody fingerprints, so as not to cause misunderstanding."

The two entered the room while they were talking, Ouyang and Tong Hua Ting naturally went back to the room, secretly delighted to find that Hua Ting didn't object.

Hua Ting was still thinking about the bloody fingerprints but didn't notice Ouyang Ji's actions, she lay on the bed with her head on her arms and was still thinking about things.

"Don't think too much, you're already sick, rest first, and we'll talk about it tomorrow if you have anything to do."

Ouyang Ji said as he pulled the quilt to cover Hua Ting, while he lay on the outside of the bed and covered the quilt as well.

After hearing this, Hua realized later, seeing Ouyang Ji closing his eyes and falling asleep honestly, she couldn't fall asleep.

The moonlight shone dimly on Ouyang Ji's body and face. The smooth and full forehead, the thick eyelashes like crow feathers, the upturned nose, the rosy and sharp lips, and the white skin like milk, under the silver light Fairytale dreamy.

Why didn't she realize that the child was pretty good-looking before, Hua Ting stared at Ouyang Ji's face for a long time accompanied by the occasional knock on the door, and fell asleep unknowingly.

Listening to Hua Ting's even breathing, Ouyang Ji turned to face Hua Ting with a smile on the corner of his mouth, moved away the pillow in the middle, and stretched out his hand to circle Hua Ting into his arms.

"I beg you to save me and you will save me. Why do you refuse to marry me when I want you to marry me... You can only be my wife in this life, don't try to escape."

Ouyang Ji said to himself, hugged Huating tightly, closed his eyes and fell asleep.

The next day, Hua Ting woke up in Ouyang Ji's arms, so embarrassed that she wished she could beat herself to death, and when she was quietly tentatively moving out, she suddenly heard Ouyang Ji's lazy voice above her head.

"It's not my fault, you got in by yourself."

Hua Ting pretended not to hear, and quickly drew his back to Ouyang Jidao.

"Hurry up and cook, I'm hungry."

Ouyang Ji propped his upper body up on the bed with one hand, and walked around with the other hand to poke Hua Ting's nose.

"I found that you are more and more able to control me, so you get up too, let's cook and eat together."

Hua Ting was not afraid of working but because he didn't want to face Ouyang Ji, so he backed away stiffly.

"You go first, I will come later."

Ouyang Ji suddenly smirked and lay down on Hua Ting's body, teasing her face to face.

"Why, I'm shy, don't worry, I won't tell others that you got into my arms in the middle of the night..."

Before finishing speaking, Ouyang Ji jumped to the ground and successfully avoided Hua Ting's thunderbolt palm.

Hua Ting glared at Ouyang Ji and went out with a smile, but the corners of her mouth curled up unconsciously. This new experience of being joking and joking when she opened her eyes was something she had never had before, and it was not bad.

Remembering the bloody fingerprints from last night, Hua Ting put on her shoes and got out of bed, and opened the door to check when she went out to the yard.

The door panel was very clean, and there were no shadows of bloody handprints anywhere.

When Ouyang Ji came back from buying breakfast, he saw Hua Ting standing at the door, staring at the door panel, and greeted Hua Ting.

"Come and eat first..."

Hua Ting followed Ouyang Ji into the courtyard gate and went to the kitchen to fetch bowls and chopsticks, and the two sat down to eat.

After eating and drinking enough, Ouyang and Tonghua went to the Yamen together.

Because Hua Ting was injured, Ouyang Ji went to hire a carriage, and the two of them took the carriage to the gate of the yamen. They asked the porter to find out that the trial had already begun.

Ouyang Ji told Hua Ting to sit in the car and wait, but when he turned around, he was blocked by an old man.

"Zicun, why did you kill your grandmother?"

Ouyang Fu yelled while leaning on a crutch.

"If you still remember your grandmother's kindness to bring you up with shit and piss since you were a child, come and close the case with me immediately."

Saying that, Ouyang Fu grabbed Ouyang Ji and walked towards the gate of the yamen.

Ouyang Ji let Ouyang Fu pull him to the yamen, but he didn't struggle at all. When Hua Ting heard the movement, he lifted the curtain of the car and saw it.

Ouyang Fu walked ahead and felt that something was wrong, so he stopped and turned to look at Ouyang Jidao.

"Let's make an agreement. When you go in, you will tell the master that you are lying. Your grandmother never harmed you, do you know?"

Ouyang Ji smiled and said nothing, laughing until Ouyang Fu bristled, as if he didn't know this grandson.

"What are you laughing at?" Ouyang Fu feigned anger.

"I laughed at you for sending it to your door..."

Ouyang Ji yelled at the concierge as he spoke.

"Brother Cha, this is Zhao's accomplice, catch him quickly!"

"You...you bastard!" Ouyang Fu didn't expect to escape in time, and was pushed down on the stone steps at the gate of the yamen by the porter in time, and he yelled at Ouyang Ji angrily, he didn't look seriously ill.

Watching Ouyang Fu being escorted into the yamen, Ouyang Ji turned his head to look at the carriage parked on the side of the street, and happened to collide with Hua Ting, who raised the curtains of the carriage and looked towards him.

Ouyang Ji curled his lips into a smile, but Hua Ting tasted a distressing bitterness from this smile.

'Be nice to me, I only have you. '

Huating understood Ouyang Ji's lips and lowered her eyes sadly. She couldn't agree to him but also couldn't refuse him, so she couldn't respond...
