Chapter 7 In My Hands

Covey looked surprised, really thought that Lingchu knew magic.

He stared at Lingchu curiously.

Then Lingchu picked up those antique things, as if he was painting.

Covey couldn't help asking: "Are you drawing? Where did you get this kind of paper? Isn't it expensive?"

Lingchu dipped her finger in the cinnabar and was drawing a talisman. When she heard what Ke Wei said, she raised her eyebrows and asked while drawing, "Do you have no paper here?"

"Yes, but the number is very small, and it is not affordable for ordinary people. Now everyone is used to using machines to solve problems. No matter what they do, there are robots." Covey explained: "And, like the one you use Paper, I have never seen it before, it looks like an antique, it should be very valuable in the market."

Lingchu's eyebrows moved, but his hands didn't stop.

Soon, she drew a talisman in one go.

After finishing the painting, Lingchu breathed a sigh of relief, and said in surprise, "Then what do you use to go to the toilet? After it's convenient, don't you need to use paper?"

Covey shook his head, "No, we have cleaning robots."

Lingchu: "..."

This also uses robots?
The era of high-tech civilization is too scary.

For the first time, Lingchu felt that high technology didn't seem to be that good.

She shook her head, bit her finger, and after marking the face on the talisman paper, she picked up the talisman and bowed in all directions while chanting words.

Covey heard what she seemed to be saying, but couldn't make out.

After a while, Ke Wei saw that there seemed to be a flash of light entering the talisman paper in Lingchu's hand.

Covey immediately exclaimed: "Just now, what was that just now? Is it magic again?"

"It's not magic, it's called Qijiesha, it's...well, it's like activating the spiritual power of the talisman paper to make the talisman paper more effective." Lingchu tried and explained to Covey.

Although her body is an A-level fighter, her cultivation is different and she has never been exposed to spiritual power.

Everyone is born with more or less spiritual power in the body, but as they grow up, the spiritual power gradually disappears, so the old saying goes, babies' eyes can see unclean things, and this ability will grow with age and disappear.

That's what it means.

There is only a little spiritual power left in her body, which is not enough to expand the effectiveness of the talisman paper, so she has to borrow some other means.

Covey looked dazed, but... didn't understand at all.

He just exclaimed instinctively: "It's amazing, you are really amazing, I don't understand what you said."

Even the question mark on Lingchu's face couldn't be understood, how could he know if he was powerful or not?

Forget it, discussing these things with people from the interstellar era is really hard to understand.

Lingchu put the processed talisman in his palm and spread it out in front of Covey, "This is called a soul talisman. As the name suggests, it allows you to live in it temporarily. I will take you out of here first, and then take you home."

Covey looked at the thin paper, scratched his head, and looked puzzled, "This... how do I get in?"

Lingchu reacted...

The ghosts of the interstellar era probably don't know these things better than the ghosts of their era.

Lingchu could only be patient, stretched out his other hand, and said, "Put your hand on mine."

Ke Wei hesitated, and gave his hand to Lingchu.

Lingchu held his hand, and suddenly exerted force on his fingertips.

Before Covey could react, he felt as if there was a huge suction force engulfing him, and he fell into darkness in the next second.

Lingchu simply and roughly stuffed Covey into the soul sending talisman.

Then I heard Covey's terrified voice coming from the soul talisman.

"I, where am I?! Why, why is it so dark?"
