Fahai turned his Dharma eyes to look around, and he really saw sixteen young children's spirits among them. He bowed to the Bodhisattva and said, "Bodhisattva is merciful."

"Compassionate?" Guanyin Bodhisattva shook his head and said, "If the poor monk is merciful, he shouldn't let this evil person go to the lower realm; Why did these sixteen virgins die so tragically, why did eight families bear the pain of bereavement?"

"Compassion, what is compassion?" Guanyin Bodhisattva looked at Fa Hai and said, "Perhaps the poor monk will not be able to truly comprehend it all his life."

The Great Sage said aside, "If Bodhisattvas can't deserve mercy, who in the Three Realms can deserve it?"

"Compassion can be obtained, compassion can also be obtained, but compassion is difficult." Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva looked at Fahai and asked, "The poor monk has a matter that he still can't make a decision on, and I want to hear your opinion."

Fa Hai bowed again: "The Bodhisattva's words are serious, but if you ask, you will know everything."
