Fahai travels through Tang Sanzang

Chapter 525: There is some order, but not much; why is it that your sect’s consciousness-only teachi

The silent understanding between Demon Ancestor Wutian and Patriarch Kuigang was something that no creature in the demon world had ever thought of before.

In fact, for the creatures in the demon world, killing, violence, and betrayal are commonplace, as if they are instincts engraved in their lives.

The so-called order is definitely an unbearable shackles for them.

Compared with the Wutian Demon Ancestor who allowed all living beings in the demon world to have their own way and only ruled them in name, Kui Gang established the demon kingdom and established the demon emperor in order to formulate rules and make the scattered demon world condense into one place.

After all, he is the incarnation of the Jade Emperor. Even if he is assimilated with the will of the devil, he still represents order to a certain extent.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons why the will of the devil wants to assimilate the incarnation of the Jade Emperor.

Since the birth of the Demon Realm, chaos has filled the entire world. Compared with the Three Realms, where order is still relatively complete, the development of the Demon Realm lags behind for thousands of years.

As the great sage of the demon world, Wutian Demon Ancestor was not abandoned by the will of the demon world.

One represents order and the other represents chaos. They are respectively in charge of the two most precious treasures of the demon world: the God-killing Spear and the World-Destroying Black Lotus. Within these three hundred, a winner will be determined and the future development direction of the demon world will be determined.

Both Wutian Demon Ancestor and Kuigang Fazu knew this very well.

But Demon Ancestor Wutian comes from Buddhism in the Three Realms after all. How can he not know what kind of changes order can bring to a world?
In the past, he only regarded the Demon Realm as his own power to counterattack the Three Realms. In addition, as the Great Sage of the Demon Realm, he was already the master of the Demon Realm, so he did not carefully plan for the emergence of Patriarch Qui-Gon, which naturally brought him a lot of trouble. The pressure, the sense of urgency was something I had never experienced before.

Recruiting troops.

This is the common development tone for both of them at the moment. All war matters have come to an end for the time being. The endless abyss of the demon worlds on both sides are divided into the North and South Demon Realms.Patriarch Qui-Gon founded the Demon Kingdom, and Patriarch Wutian founded the Demon Sect.

The demon world, which was originally tense and on the verge of war, seemed to have a rare period of peace.

It's just that compared to the two bosses who are above them, the various tribes in the demon world below and the big monsters everywhere are not so relaxed. As the precious combat power of the demon world, it is inevitable that they will be targeted by both sides. At the beginning, there were still some forces Or experts, who want to have the best of both worlds, or the benefits of eating double portions.

But they obviously forgot the names of Wutian Demon Ancestor and Qui-Gon Fazu. Based on the principle of efficiency, they immediately killed those who showed hesitation or clearly refused when faced with solicitation. The killer didn't hesitate at all.

After all, when you press the button to recruit subordinates, they are all done in their respective territories. If you don't work for me, you will surrender to the enemy. Isn't it easy to deal with the enemy?
There is nothing to hesitate about.

In short, there is still one word, chaos.

Even in the Northern Demon Realm, ruled by Patriarch Qui-Gon, it is the same. Even if there is some order, there are really not many. There are even fewer who can strictly abide by it.

Even because the Northern Demon Realm had too many rules, many demons took the initiative to run away to the Southern Demon Realm ruled by Wutian Demon Ancestor. Even some demons who surrendered and rebelled felt regret.

However, since they have become traitors and offended Demon Ancestor Wutian, they can only follow Kui Gang Fazu into the dark side.

Fortunately, these rules are far from restrictive to them.

Moreover, powerful guys will have certain privileges everywhere, let alone the devil world?

Li Chengqian, the former crown prince of the Tang Dynasty.

Because he worshiped Li Chunfeng, a disciple of the Renjiao, he still took off his princely clothes and wore an ordinary Taoist robe. He leaned on an iron crutch and carried a gourd on his back. According to the master's words, he had to travel far and experience the sufferings of the people firsthand.

As a prince, Li Chengqian rarely went out to the public. When he was a prince, whenever he left the palace, the prince's ceremonial guard was indispensable. Later, the prince was deposed by his father and was even banned in the palace until Last year, Master Sanzang, the emperor's uncle, returned from studying for Buddhist scriptures, and he was able to escape from the predicament.

Although the hope of competing for the throne has been completely lost, it seems that there is an opportunity to achieve immortality and enlightenment. Who can really tell whether a loss or a gain is a blessing or a disaster?
Not only did he become a disciple of the Human Sect, but even Qingque became a disciple of the Golden Light Immortal Sect of the Jie Sect. His younger sister Sizi was even rescued by Guanyin Bodhisattva and accepted as a disciple.
To be king?
Be the emperor?
How can one be more carefree and happy than becoming an immortal?

Before Li Chengqian officially left Chang'an, he followed his master's instructions and first came to Da Ci'en Temple to meet Master Tripitaka.

Today, Master Sanzang's reputation in the Tang Dynasty is at its peak. Even though Daci'en Temple does not accept incense, there is always a steady stream of people who come to see the Holy Buddha and pray for blessings every day.

Daci'en Temple has no threshold. All living beings from the three realms, whether men, women, old or young, rich or poor, high or low, can enter the temple. As for those with evil intentions, how can they dare to get even half a step closer to Da Ci'en Temple?

Of course, most mortals come here because they actually want to worship Master Tripitaka.

Among them, only a small part are devoted to Buddhism. The vast majority of mortals are still a little shallow in mind, and they just come here for immortality.

Fa Hai doesn't care about this. This is human nature. We must face it squarely and provide correct guidance.

At this time, Fahai seemed to understand why Lingshan had set up the hidden rule of "the law should not be passed lightly".

But this is by no means a reason for Lingshan to recruit personnel. At least the teachings of Daci'en Temple are not judged by such standards.

Compared with Lingshan's method of preaching, Fahai still prefers Zhenyuan Immortal's preaching in Wuzhuang Temple. Therefore, except for the top floor of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda where he practices daily, the remaining floors serve as the Tibetan Buddhist temple of Daci'en Temple. Jingge is open to the public.

But on each floor, there will be a keeper.

Only by passing the test of the scripture keepers can one go to a higher level.

There are no restrictions on the first level, which contains the basic scriptures for entry into various Buddhist sects. In addition to Buddhist scriptures, there are also Taoist, Taoist and Confucian sects, as well as the learning and teachings of hundreds of schools of thought.

Li Chengqian is currently on the first floor of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. He is not in a hurry to meet Master Sanzang, the emperor's uncle. Instead, he reads scriptures on the first floor of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
Although there were many people in the tower, there were no other chaotic sounds except for some slight footsteps and the sound of turning books.

Li Chengqian was also affected by the atmosphere. Holding a copy of "Bian Que Nei Jing" written by a doctor, he gradually became fascinated by it.

This "Bian Que Nei Jing" is one of the hundreds of classics that Fahai obtained from Huoyun Cave. It is one of the originals left in the world after Bian Que became an immortal.

Li Chengqian has just read it. In addition to the "Bian Que Nei Jing", there are quite a lot of various "classics" by doctors. Although I heard that the emperor's uncle gave the palace a batch of hundreds of hundreds of medicines after he came back from Huoyun Cave. He really didn't expect that there would be such a "medical scripture" in the family classics.Li Chengqian is obsessed with medical books, not for any other reason, but because of his lameness. Although his master and the emperor's uncle both said that it was a congenital defect that was difficult to cure with immortality, he himself was still unwilling to accept his fate.

As Master Tripitaka said, it is better to seek help from others than from yourself, so he studied medical classics by himself. Unexpectedly, he actually had some talent in this medical skill, and he was able to concentrate on it and study it exclusively.

This was something Li Shimin had never expected before.

Li Chunfeng even made a direct judgment on this. Even if Li Chengqian could not become an immortal through cultivation, he would still be able to rely on his medical skills to be specially recruited into the heaven to become a "Medical Immortal" after his death.

Special recruitment.

This is the special authority that all the ministries in heaven and the underworld have.

Those medical masters in the human world all had their souls become immortals after death, such as Bian Que, Hua Tuo, Zhang Zhongjing and others. In the Tang Dynasty, there is also a Sun Simiao who has already made his name in the heaven.

Back then, they all gathered together at the Yang Mansion at Guanjiangkou to diagnose and treat the third princess Cun Xin who was suffering from pregnancy discomfort. Because of the quota of one attending physician, they did not even give up the "face" of their respective medical masters, and actually "criticized" each other on the spot. , although the means are bad, they are still somewhat cute.

I don't know how long it took.

There was a soft sound in Li Chengqian's stomach, and he suddenly came back to his senses. Looking around, it was still dark, but there were still many people reading scriptures in the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

When he came in during the day, the temple was full of monks studying scriptures. The seats in the pagoda were already full, and apart from keeping the corridors clear, there was almost no room for room.

The main reason is that he wears ordinary Taoist robes. Although he is quite conspicuous in this Buddhist temple, no one recognizes him as the former prince of the dynasty. And with his embarrassing status, I am afraid that even if someone recognizes him, they will still pretend. have no idea.

Li Chengqian was lucky. Someone was about to leave when he arrived, so he found a place to stay and study under the stairs.

What kind of learning atmosphere is this?

Li Chengqian simply sighed in his heart, as if he could already foresee the prosperity of Da Ci'en Temple in the future.

"Your Highness."

Wu Jing, who was delivering dinner to his master, just entered the tower and saw Li Chengqian holding a medical book. He smiled and came forward to say hello: "Did Your Highness spend the whole day reading medical scriptures here?"

"I was fascinated for a moment and made the elders laugh."

"Amitabha." Wu Jing recited the Buddha's name and did not mention the matter. He still said with a smile: "The poor monk is about to go up. Your Highness, would you like to come with us?"

"Excuse me, elder, to lead the way."

"Your Highness, please——"

In fact, since Li Chengqian was deposed, he has become an unruly character, especially in front of Li Shimin, he is even more unruly because he has nothing to ask for and is fearless.

When facing Master Tripitaka, the emperor's uncle, in the Daci'en Temple, he always had a gentle and polite image.

At the turning point of a staircase, Li Chengqian quickly walked side by side with Wu Jing and asked: "I dare to ask the elders, Xiao Wang looked around the Buddhist scriptures in the pagoda today. It can be said to be all-encompassing. Not to mention the three schools of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, but those who have long been Even the lost classics of hundreds of schools of thought actually have something hidden in them.”

Having said this, Li Chengqian paused for a moment and took a look at Wu Jing's expression. Seeing that he was still smiling, he then asked, "Why is it that I don't see Guizong's consciousness-only teachings?"

"Amitabha." Wujing recited the Buddha's name again and explained with a smile: "Because the consciousness-only teaching is profound and difficult to understand. If you don't have a certain understanding of Buddhism, it may be difficult to even get started and you want to truly master the consciousness-only teaching. If you want to achieve something, then you must at least be proficient in many Buddhist sects and achieve great success in one."

"That's it." Li Chengqian was thoughtful after hearing this.

Wu Jing did not hide it, and this book was not a secret. "It is also the first creation of our sect. Master is still compiling some basic scriptures and essentials of our sect. Besides, Buddhism is interoperable, so there is no harm in learning more."

Moreover, for the Consciousness-Only Dharma, one must learn the Buddhist teachings of other sects sooner or later.

Wu Jing himself has the deepest understanding of this. The more Buddhist teachings he is proficient in, the deeper his understanding of our consciousness-only teachings will be.

Even regardless of Buddhism, Taoism, or Confucianism, they all have this effect, which can be said to be the ultimate in embracing all rivers.

In this way, Wu Jing can truly understand where the master's "ambition" lies.

It is a recognized fact among Buddhists that the consciousness-only teaching is difficult to learn. Even some Arhats and Bodhisattvas in Lingshan find it obscure and difficult to understand.

Those Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who relied on their magic power to increase the attainment of great positions and positive attainments were exposed in front of the Consciousness-Only Teaching. Because of the popularity of the Consciousness-Only Teaching, they had to re-invent their Buddhist practice that had been abandoned for many years. pick it up.

Unless you really hide in your own monastery without seeing anyone, when the Buddhas gather together again, you will show timidity in a few words, which will lose your face.

Moreover, there is a situation in Buddhism. Although there are many ordinary monks in the world, although their Dharma power is limited, the Dharma is profound, even more than those Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who do not live up to their names.
Forget it in the past, now, under the intentional promotion of the Buddha, and Master Tripitaka already has a very deep support among the people, Buddhist temples up and down Xizhou have naturally begun to popularize the consciousness-only teaching.

This is also due to the Arhats who followed Master Tripitaka to Chang'an to listen to the sermon. After all, they were Xizhou monks. How could they stay in Chang'an for a long time? Besides, they were all immortals. They could travel between the two continents in the blink of an eye. So they During the day, he listened to Taoism and studied scriptures in Chang'an, and at night he returned to his respective Taoist temples in Xizhou to preach.

Scenes like this made even the Buddha sigh with emotion - when they were asked to preach Mahayana Buddhism before, why didn't they show such care?

When Jin Chanzi was in Lingshan, Anke was a person who was "disliked by people". Now he has been reincarnated and re-cultivated as Tripitaka Tathagata, but he is so sought after by you.
Buddha shook his head helplessly and could only say that things in the world are impermanent, and even he would never be able to see through all the changes in the future.

Li Chengqian went all the way to the ninth floor and met Master Tripitaka. He bowed and said, "My nephew has met the emperor."

Several favored children of Li Shimin, when they met Master Tripitaka in private, they all called him "uncle" to show their closeness.
