America 1881: They Call Me Legend

Chapter 635 The first date

The first date between Rockefeller and Eva took place in his own home.

It stands to reason that when a man makes an appointment with a woman for the first time, he will set the place at his own home.

Even a fool knows what is going on in this man's mind.

Normally, women would refuse this risky proposition.

If a woman says yes, either she is stupid or she knows what it means.

Young Rockefeller was young and rich, and there were countless women in New York who were willing to take advantage of him.

He still has some confidence.

So, he asked the cook at home to prepare delicious food to see if Eva would come as promised.

Night fell.

Rockefeller Jr.’s Upper East Side mansion was brightly lit.

The table in the restaurant was covered with a tablecloth, and four exquisite vintage copper candlesticks were placed on the table. Each candlestick burned a candle with a pattern.

The red camel hair carpet was strewn with rose petals.

The air is filled with an intoxicating fragrance, and together with the dim lights, create an ambiguous atmosphere.

Little Rockefeller sat at the end of the table, meditating on something, but his heart had already flown outside the villa.

After a while, the sound of a car horn sounded at the door.

"Ms. Eva is here." The servant came up to report.

He was holding a case of red wine.

"Ha, woman." The corners of Rockefeller's mouth curved up.

It seemed that this woman was still succumbing to the charm.

As to what kind of charm it was, he didn't care.

Isn’t the charm of money a charm?
"Well, after the food is served, you can get off work. Remember, no one comes to disturb us." Little Rockefeller warned, "By the way, put this box of wine under the table."

After a bottle of wine, a woman will crawl into bed by herself.

If one bottle doesn't work, then two bottles.

Rockefeller Jr. had his own plans.

"Okay, I understand, young master." The servant bowed his head and retreated.

A few minutes later, Eva appeared at the door of the restaurant.

She wore a purple evening dress today, a small coat on top, and a platinum necklace around her neck.

The sapphire on the necklace is held up by two proud "peaks" and shines brightly in the candlelight.

Eva's blond hair was curled up, and the bright red lipstick on her plump lips was particularly stunning.

Little Rockefeller was a little distracted for a moment.

"What, eldest young master, don't you welcome me?" Eva said in a charming voice.

Little Rockefeller stood up hurriedly, walked to Eva's side, and took off her coat in a gentlemanly manner.

The woman revealed her fair and slender arms.

She walked straight to her seat.

A refreshing and unique fragrance entered little Rockefeller's nose.

He couldn't help but sniff his nose.

So, so tempting!
The two sat down facing each other.

"Mr. Rockefeller, are you preparing a candlelight dinner for me?"

Eva looked at the candles on the table and the rose petals on the ground, covered her mouth with her hands and smiled.

"A beautiful lady must be accompanied by beautiful arrangements. The beauty is by her side, and the preparations cannot be too complicated." Little Rockefeller said while arranging his napkin.

"You are really good at talking. You must have a flexible tongue."

Eva looked at him across the table with charming eyes.

Young Rockefeller felt like there were ants crawling on his back.

He had reason to suspect that the woman opposite was talking pornographically, but he had no evidence.

And, he likes it.

The servant came in with the dishes and at the same time took out the bottle of wine that little Astor gave to his young master.

After pouring wine for the two of them, he saw little Rockefeller waving his hand at him, so he wisely exited the door.

Eva and little Rockefeller chatted while eating.

The eldest young master began to show off his knowledge in various ways, talking about heaven and earth to show his erudition.

After learning that Eva had been on Broadway, we chatted about ballet, from genres to masters to techniques.

Eva smiled and quietly watched the eldest young master showing off.

"John, I don't dance ballet."

When Rockefeller Jr. finished his words and began to lower his head to eat his steak, Eva suddenly said.

The eldest young master was a little embarrassed for a moment, and the knife and fork in his hand paused for a moment.

"I danced the dance of my hometown." Eva took a sip of the red wine in her glass and said, "When I first arrived on Broadway, I didn't know anything, so my boss didn't want me."

She stood up, took off her shoes, and stepped on the expensive carpet with her bare feet.

Young Rockefeller suddenly remembered that there was a phonograph in his room.

He walked to the gramophone, looking for any music to play, but the woman's brisk singing voice came from behind him:

Oh, give me a home,

There the cattle roam,
Mountain deer and antelope play;
There are no clouds that cover the sky,
Just inspirational words.

Eva sang and danced enthusiastically.

She is like a jumping elf, and like a butterfly wearing flowers, dancing gracefully.

The purple skirt rises and spins, and together with the woman's faint smile, it makes people obsessed.

Little Rockefeller's eyes widened.

He had never seen such a woman.

He seemed to see an echinacea blooming, its purple petals flying all over the sky, dwarfing the roses in the room.

Just when little Rockefeller was stunned, a slender hand took his hand and pulled him into the center of the restaurant covered with roses.

"Come on, let's go together!" Eva smiled brightly.

"I, I don't know how." Little Rockefeller looked awkward like a virgin in love.

"Just follow me,"

Two people danced in the restaurant, and the rose petals on the ground scattered and floated in the wind.

Eva is a very good dance teacher.

Little Rockefeller was clumsy at first, then slowly caught up with the action, until finally he released himself.

The woman's laughter echoed in the restaurant like silver bells.

Her voice was mixed with the hearty laughter of little Rockefeller.

The servants waiting outside the villa looked at each other.

"How long has it been since the young master smiled like this?" one servant asked another. "I don't know, maybe, I haven't heard from the second young master since he disappeared." Another servant sighed.

After the dance, Eva turned to the dining table.

She picked up Little Rockefeller's cup, then walked along the edge of the table, using a dancing step to spin along the edge of the table to her own side, and picked up her own cup.

Eva handed one of the goblets to little Rockefeller's hand:
"Come, cheers, my young master."

The woman drank the wine in the goblet and stared at the man in front of her with affectionate eyes.

Little Rockefeller took the wine glass, drank it in one gulp, and then grabbed Eva's hand, trying to pull her into his arms.

But the woman smiled coquettishly and avoided it.

The two men started chasing around the dining table.

In the end, Eva "accidentally" stumbled and fell into the arms of little Rockefeller.

The woman's alluring body fragrance and perfume entered little Rockefeller's nose, and the softness and warmth in his arms made him completely unable to control it.

"Tell me, what's your real name?" Little Rockefeller kissed her.

Unexpectedly, his lips touched the cold glass.

A red wine glass stood between the two of them.

"I'll tell you after you finish the drink," the woman said.

Little Rockefeller's wine glass was empty again.

When he raised his head, he found that the woman was already standing in front of him.

"Eva, sir, my real name is Eva."

The woman picked up the red wine bottle and poured another glass of wine for Little Rockefeller.

She untied her hair and tilted her head.

Blond hair like a waterfall.

Little Rockefeller was about to stand up, but the woman held his head and hugged him into her arms.

The eldest young master felt that he couldn't breathe.

"You must be lonely after your brother's death, right?" Eva stroked his head and said leisurely.

Little Rockefeller did not struggle at all.

"You, how do you know that my brother is dead?"

He raised his head from the woman's softness.

A glass of red wine was handed to young Rockefeller again.

"Drink, wine can make people forget the pain." Eva said.

Wine can indeed make people forget pain, but it can also evoke people's thoughts.

The water will flow even more when the knife is cut off, and the sorrow will be relieved by a toast.

The two hugged each other and whispered to each other.

About the past, about the heart.

Rockefeller Jr. has a younger brother. They are only one year apart. They are very similar in appearance and temperament.

Unlike Rockefeller Jr., his younger brother is much more capable.

But his ideas were completely different from those of the old Rockefeller.

Whether it's the future development of the company or how to treat unions and workers.

He did not think that what the old man did in charity was out of his own conscience, but to atone for his own conscience.

After Rockefeller used his private army to suppress a union strike, the conflict between the two men completely broke out.

After a big quarrel between father and son, there was a complete breakup.

Rockefeller Jr.'s younger brother was dismissed from all positions in the group. He became depressed and eventually disappeared during a trip to the West.

Rockefeller Jr. will never forget his younger brother.

Halfway through the story, he was already in tears, drinking red wine one sip after another.

One bottle is no longer enough.

All the red wine he had prepared for Eva ended up in little Rockefeller's stomach.

Finally, after drinking a glass of wine, little Rockefeller collapsed on the table.

Eva stood up.

She walked over to little Rockefeller and gave him a gentle push.

There was no movement.

She got a little bolder and shook the man hard.

The man rolled down from his chair and lay flat on the ground.

Drunk as hell.

Eva tried to move the man, but found it was in vain.

She squatted down and ran her hands all over little Rockefeller's body.

Finally, Eva touched what she wanted in the man's jacket pocket.

The Masonic emblem belongs exclusively to the Rockefeller family.

On the front is a square and compass, and on the back is a small "L".

Eva stuffed the badge into her chest.

She glanced at the little Rockefeller on the ground and sighed:

"You look pretty good. If you drink less, maybe we can go on to something happier."

Eva put on her shoes and walked out of the restaurant.

But when she reached the door, she suddenly turned back.

She knelt down again and pulled down Rockefeller's pants.

Take off all the way to the bottom, completely naked.

"Well, not bad." Eva took a closer look.

She put her hands into her skirt.

After a while, a pink triangular strip of cloth appeared on her hand.

She picked up the strip of cloth and threw it over, covering exactly where it should be covered, leaving some dignity for the man.

Then she put her coat back on and walked out, closing the door.

The servant at the door saw Eva coming out and was a little confused.

According to past experience, shouldn't this woman spend the night here?
Eva flipped up her messy hair, pulled down the shoulder straps of her skirt, and glanced at the servant with confused eyes:
"Your young master is sleeping very comfortably, you'd better not disturb him," she said.

The two servants suddenly realized.

They watched the woman leave, then entered the house and turned off the lights on the first floor.

After staying in the Rockefeller family for so many years, they deeply understood a truth.

Don't worry about things you shouldn't worry about.

The young master must be very tired now and sleep soundly. (End of chapter)
