Chapter 59

When everyone came out of the meeting room and Naver's executives left after Kim Sang-hoon's farewell, it was already noon.

As soon as President Kim Sang-hoon came back, he spoke impatiently to the employee closest to him with a clearly angry expression.

Then the female employee timidly stood up and walked towards Chen Gewei.

At the workstation, Chen Gewei was tapping on his mobile phone, and then he heard a female colleague next to him say something carefully to himself.

"Minister, the president is looking for you."

Chen Gewei was not surprised at all, and agreed softly.

"I see."

Then, Chen Gewei stood up, clicked send for the last time, then put the phone away and put it in his pocket.

Amidst the expressions of his colleagues watching the play, Chen Gewei came to Kim Sang-hoon's office unhurriedly.

The middle-aged president was waiting for him at the door, and when he was fully inside the room, he would close the door behind his back.

"I told you to control your emotions."

As soon as the door was closed, Jin Shangxun turned around impatiently and said.

He waved his hands vigorously, and his tone was very serious.

"I already have a lot of respect for him."

Chen Gewei said lightly, with a look of indifference.

Kim Sang-hoon sighed, then spoke quickly.

"This is South Korea, not China, and not the United States. The division between classes is very important. I don't care what you do in the company on weekdays, but that is Kim Sang-heon, the bread and butter of our company."

Chen Gewei paused, then spread his hands.

"He didn't say anything."

Jin Shangxun immediately closed his eyes, looking as if he was so angry that he rose to heaven, and after calming down for two or three seconds, he slowed down and said.

"If he is really angry, then we will be too late."

Chen Gewei looked at Jin Shangxun's angry look, and for a moment wanted to tell him the truth, the truth about Lianzhong's imminent demise.

But before the words slipped out of his throat, he swallowed them down.

Jin Shangxun in front of him sighed again, then adjusted his mood, and then asked.

"After this meeting, who do you think has a better chance of winning, Li Haiyin or Han Chengshu?"

Chen Gewei's expression gradually became serious, but he still shook his head slowly.

"I can't see it."

"Ugh."

Jin Shangxun sighed again, raised his hand and pinched his temple, then turned around and walked to the sofa next to him to sit down.

"Actually, I heard some things about data centers and business integration, and I also have a feeling that our Lianzhong is coming to an end."

Chen Gewei didn't speak, just stood beside him quietly.

Jin Shangxun raised his head, glanced at Chen Gewei's expression, and then asked suspiciously.

"You've heard that too, haven't you?"

Chen Gewei pouted lightly, but did not deny it.

"I have a guess."

"Is that why you are so unscrupulous towards Kim Sang-heon? Anyway, Lianzhong will end sooner or later."

Jin Shangxun looked at Chen Gewei and asked with a smile.

That smile seemed more of a mockery.

"no."

Chen Gewei denied it softly.

"I hate him because, as the leader of a company in the Internet technology industry, he should understand the basic business principles, instead of showing his majesty by reprimanding some employees."

Seeing Chen Gewei's plain narration, Jin Shangxun nodded with a smile, and then said lightly.

"You're really, to be honest, you're a nice person, if you leave out things like manners. Everyone says you lack humanity, but I feel that you have a lot of humanity. You're just, overly rational."

"You don't need to praise me, I will stay and accompany Lianzhong to the end."

Chen Gewei looked at Jin Shangxun and said flatly.

Suddenly, two "buzzing" sounds came from Chen Gewei's pocket.

The two people in the office cast their gazes over at the same time, and then Chen Gewei reached out and took out the mobile phone from his pocket.

"What important information? You have to leave this kind of critical meeting and go out to reply?"

"It's nothing."

Chen Gewei said calmly, tapped the phone keypad twice, and then put the phone away again.

"My family arranged a blind date for me, and I'm trying to figure out how to deal with it."

"Can you handle it?"

Kim Sang-hoon was a little skeptical.

"Looking at your behavior, it seems that you like him very much?"

Chen Gewei glanced at his boss coldly.

"Do you think I'm the kind of person who can fall in love?"

Jin Shangxun thought about it seriously, then shook his head quickly.

"I really can't imagine what it's like for you to fall in love."

"It's okay, I'll go."

Chen Gewei said mercilessly.

"I haven't slept until now, I have to catch up."

Jin Shangxun switched to the serious mode in a second, looked outside the office, thought for a while, and then nodded affirmatively.

"OK, I'll leave it to Team Leader Park to connect with the police."

"I've already spoken to him."

Chen Gewei followed indifferently, then turned and walked towards the door of the office.

And Jin Shangxun immediately stood up and followed him, watching him continue talking.

"Tomorrow, after you come here, you have to prepare two sets of plans for me, a new defense review strategy, and a plan for arresting the hackers."

Chen Gewei stopped, turned around, and looked at his president.

"Do you know how difficult what you just said is?"

"I know."

Kim Sang-hoon nodded affirmatively.

"But in our company, only you can do it. I will give you enough time. During this time, you will specialize in researching this."

Chen Gewei paused for a moment, then agreed softly.

"I see."

I originally planned to post a big chapter, but I still have to polish the conversation with Kim Ji-soo later, so I will post it tomorrow during the day
