Chapter 614 Zhang Ke: Nice to see you again, everyone!

"Leave the external ways, the two vehicles, everything."

"Clap!"

The Buddha, who was chanting scriptures, looked at the broken rope in his hand with surprise and the rosary beads scattered all over the ground.

The round Bodhi seeds were shattered all over the floor in the magnificent hall, and the crackling sound was particularly loud in the empty hall.

Some of the 108 prayer beads made from the Bodhi seeds of the precious Bodhi tree fell into the cracks of the lotus pedestal where the Buddha was sitting, while more of them flew around and collided everywhere.

Even the Buddhist beads made of the precious Bodhi tree, blessed by the Buddha's great power and the incense of believers, could not even remain intact after such a careless collision. They were easily torn into pieces and turned into sawdust on the ground.

This sudden accident made the Buddha subconsciously stop chanting. His right hand, which seemed to be trying to save something, was grasping weakly. A trace of anger and thought appeared in his eyes on his stern, kind and gentle face.

Not to mention great figures like Buddha.

Even for ordinary people who are still living in the mortal world, their unintentional actions in daily life will symbolize certain things, and the most obvious of these is the warning from the body; but once they embark on the path of spiritual practice, regardless of whether they have practiced divination or not, under the natural pursuit of the Tao concept of the unity of man and nature in the Nine Provinces, practitioners who are immersed in a state of harmony with heaven and earth will often get certain clues in advance.

And in Kyushu's cultivation system, there is also a special explanation for this matter - a whim!

For a powerful being like the Buddha, the information he obtains from his sudden inspiration will only be more accurate, more real, and even at certain moments can be equivalent to the foresight that points directly to the essence of things.

But in the face of this subtle reminder, there was no trace of joy on the Buddha's face.

Even at the moment when the Buddhist beads shattered, his true spirit had already transformed into millions, driving the millions of relics in his body to search the three realms based on this little cause and effect. His majestic divine thoughts went to the sky and the underworld, but he still couldn't get an accurate result.

All I know is that this is an ominous call, but I don’t know who it points to or what it leads to!
The great Buddha Tathagata, the Lord of Lingshan Mountain, Sakyamuni, can't even handle a small whim. Is this possible?

This is impossible!

With his strength, there are very few things or existences in the entire Jiuzhou that can be hidden from Tathagata's Dharma Eyes. Even if the Buddha is not in good health, he can still find some clues.

It is either related to Lingshan, or it is a peerless treasure that has never been seen before, at least it has to be a treasure of the level of innate treasure, or it is a disaster.

Either that or the Heavenly Court is interfering again, and there is definitely more than one person involved.

There is no need to say much about those emperors, but at least the two of them, Emperor of Heaven and Empress of Earth, definitely put in a lot of effort to confuse the secrets of the entire Kyushu. Otherwise, as the Lord of Lingshan, who was once one of the Five Elders of the Five Directions and in charge of half of the incense offerings in the world, it is impossible for him to be as ignorant as a blind man.

Of course, the disaster itself is not important. The more dangerous it is, the more fierce and unstoppable it is, but its grandeur requires sufficient time to accumulate.

Since he gave the reminder on a whim, even if the result was nothing, it was enough for the Buddha to be sure that this disaster was still some distance away from Lingshan.

Therefore, before the catastrophe that will overturn the world comes, the top priority is to cover up and appease the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and monks in the mountains.

The Lingshan Mountain, which had finally recovered a little bit of its vitality, could no longer withstand another round of civil strife and came to a standstill!

But the reality is that the more you fear something, the more it will come to you!
When the Buddha wanted to cover it up.

After hearing the chanting suddenly stop, several Bodhisattvas and Buddhas opened their eyes in confusion and looked in the direction of the sound. And during this moment of hesitation, more and more eyes opened and scanned the outside world.

The entire Great Leiyin Temple, arranged in tiers, with thousands of eyes surrounding the Tathagata sitting on the lotus platform, were now all focused on the Buddhist beads rolling on the golden bricks.

Looking at those tiny and barely noticeable bits of broken wood chips, the Buddhas could no longer maintain the peace on their faces, and emotions of panic could not stop flowing from their eyes.

The first time the Buddha was interrupted, a monkey came to Lingshan and kept asking for help.

The second time the Buddha was interrupted, the four great Bodhisattvas were either killed or injured, and even the Buddha himself was injured.

At the same time, the same scene also appeared in the following places: Chi You in ancient times broke into Lingshan alone, and a bloody disaster swallowed the sky and the earth; Fighting Buddha rebelled and revolted, and hit Lingshan again after Chi You; Taibai Jinxing came to visit unexpectedly and persuaded Lingshan to close the mountain.
Except for the monkey who rebelled twice, all the subsequent events happened within just a hundred years.

Even with the longevity species' vague concept of time, disasters that seemed like déjà vu have occurred one after another within the past hundred years. Every time one happened, the entire Lingshan Mountain suffered. Not to mention too much, just like now, some psychologically fragile Bodhisattvas and Buddhas already have shadows in their hearts.

Even those with strong temperaments, or even those disciples and descendants of Buddha who still retained a certain degree of trust in the Buddha, found it difficult to remain calm in the face of this horrifying scene.

People are restless and fidgety!
Fortunately, the Buddha's power of deterrence was strong enough that no matter how confused people were in the hall, no one dared to leave the lotus platform beneath him, let alone escape!
After all, the Buddha may be invincible outside, but when it comes to the Lingshan system, no one can defeat him if his family members close the door!

There is no other way. One has to practice other people's Dharma and be controlled by others. The only Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha who showed some signs of breaking free from his cage was first suppressed and then suffered a series of heavy blows. Now, not only has he lost his foundation, but even the Dharma lineage that he had deduced halfway has been lost.

In the eyes of mortals, the inheritance that is enough to support the Arhat is already a diluted treasure.

But if you can enter the Great Hall of the Buddha, you are not even worthy of a standing ticket if you don’t have the status of an Arhat, not to mention the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas sitting there. Those who are slightly higher in the sequence can correspond to the position of the True Lord in the Heavenly Court, and some are like Emperors.

In this situation, no matter how good Ksitigarbha's lineage is, no one would abandon Tathagata and lower their status.

As a result, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, unable to sit still and daring not to run, were awakened by the Buddhist beads but unable to pretend not to see them. They could only look at the Buddha with their eyes open and seek a reasonable explanation from the Supreme Being of Lingshan.

Facing the anxious and inquiring eyes around him, the Buddha calmly adjusted his expression and said with a peaceful face: "It's just a small matter, a broken rosary, why are you so panicked? How can you look around so much!"

Being scolded by Tathagata, even though the former was narrating with a smile, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas still felt a cold breath sweeping through the entire Great Hall from the inside out. It was like an icy wind in the cold winter that tore through the robes, penetrated the flesh and blood, and got into everyone's bones, bringing a deep chill!

The threat of death if they opened their mouths filled the hearts of every Buddha present. After choking for a while, they finally swallowed the words that were about to come to their lips.

But not daring to ask does not mean that the Buddhas are willing to easily reveal this matter.

The Buddhas do not speak, but they do not cultivate any magical powers either. The Buddha does not speak, but he looks at the other Buddhas with a serious gaze.

Deathly silence spread rapidly in the Great Hall.
I don't know how much time has passed, but a gentle voice suddenly broke the silence in the hall:

"Buddha, have mercy on me. I am always in a state of anxiety and it is difficult for me to calm down. I hope Buddha will have mercy on me and give me some pointers to help me resolve my inner demons!"

After thinking it over again and again, Guanyin Bodhisattva chose to step down from her own lotus platform, came to the lotus platform of Tathagata, bowed respectfully, then looked up with admiration and pain at the huge figure shrouded in rich Buddha's light.

As the only one in Lingshan who is a Bodhisattva who does Buddha's work in the name of Bodhisattva and is powerful enough to be the most loyal follower of the Buddha in Lingshan, Guanyin Bodhisattva's coming forward can ease the deadlock that the Buddhas are facing now. Of course, no matter what the other Buddhas think, Guanyin simply does not want the Buddhas to be completely alienated from the Buddha because of this incident, which will make the already poor Lingshan even worse.

As He is more favored than Ananda and Kashyapa in Lingshan, He has enough confidence to ensure that He can escape unscathed and at the same time give everyone a reasonable explanation.

Looking down from above, the Buddha looked at the respectful Guanyin in front of him, acting like a disciple, and his eyes fluctuated for a few seconds before he asked, "Venerable Guanyin, your magical powers are vast, and your fruition coexists with Lingshan and the Nine Provinces. Although twists and turns and disasters are unavoidable, you can live as long as the heaven and earth, and coexist with the sun and the moon. Why do you have demonic obstacles in your heart?"

"I am ashamed, please enlighten me, Buddha!"

“Heaven created all things to give birth to all spirits, but all spirits have nothing to repay Heaven. Although there are reincarnation, birth, aging, sickness and death, and other laws of Heaven and Earth that regulate consumption, the total amount of Heaven and Earth is still there, and it can only decrease, not increase.

Later, there was a war between humans and gods. The Heavenly Court joined forces. Haotian divided the gods of the four directions and established the gods of the three realms. With the power of the gods, he erected the stars in the sky, intercepted the objects outside the sky to nurture the mountains and rivers, and used the eight groups of gods to expand the territory to fill the gaps in the nine states. In this way, the world was revived and the world became prosperous again! "

"However, when the water is full, it overflows; when the moon is full, it wanes. The Heavenly Court uses the method of cultivation to strengthen the human race, weaken the demons, raise new blood, and raise new gods. However, the immortals and gods did not discipline them strictly, causing the method to spread everywhere and the cultivation to become rampant in the mortal world. In addition, the demons from outside the domain are ambitious, and the Nine Provinces are in decline again."

"Today, because of the misfortune of one person, the Heavenly Court is in chaos and fighting against the demons from all directions. The territory they have expanded is more than three thousand worlds, and the materials they have plundered are countless. And if there is income, there must be expenditure. Although I don't know what the Heavenly Court's plan is, it is nothing more than the four-character mantra of increasing income and reducing expenditure!"

"The so-called increase in revenue comes from the demons, and the reduction in expenditure must come from within the Nine Provinces. First, only one in ten earthly immortals survived, suffering a devastating disaster, and then countless demons were killed and injured, and barbarians cried everywhere. In this way, the previous actions may have been just preparations, or warnings?
If you listen to me, take this opportunity to stay in Lingshan, practice meditation, recite scriptures, and wait for the time to pass!

If you don't want to, then pack up and go down the mountain. I won't abolish your cultivation, nor will I punish you for your treasures. But once you leave this time, you will have nothing to do with Lingshan anymore. If you cause a terrible disaster in the future, it will be enough to say that you are my disciple of Lingshan!

Go and rest, go and rest, since you have no intention to practice, then just go away quickly."

Although the Buddha's words are inevitably exaggerated and use the style of Spring and Autumn Annals, all Buddhas accept this.

They don't care whether you are playing tricks on them or not. Anyway, the entire Lingshan system from top to bottom has long been accustomed to being a riddler. If you can't guess it, it's because you are stupid, not because others didn't tell you.

All they wanted was an explanation from the Buddha. Having a direction was enough for them to dig deeper and compare with each other afterwards!

What's more, they said it so clearly, almost telling everyone that the Heavenly Court is causing trouble again, and this time the noise will not be much smaller. Think carefully, don't rush in and bump into something!

As for whether what is said is true or false, whether it is omitted or a scam, no one can beat this fact, so the credibility of Tathagata Buddha is still worth guaranteeing!
In this way, the Buddhas who had received the answers in their hearts no longer had cold faces, but bowed their heads and apologized.

"I know I am wrong, may Buddha have mercy on me!"

The Buddhas apologized with licking faces while twisting their bodies and sitting back on the lotus pedestals and thrones. Their solemn and focused appearances were like the clay and golden statues in the temple, safe and motionless, like Mount Tai!
As for the Buddha's words of expulsion in front of everyone, everyone pretended not to have heard them.

What a joke! Knowing that there is going to be trouble in Heaven, why don’t you gather before the Buddha to seek protection now? Are you going to wait until the trouble comes to you before asking for help?

As for the Buddhas’ attitude of being arrogant at first and respectful later, the Buddha did not make any statement.

After all, among the disciples present here, except for the four great bodhisattvas who were considered masters, the Dragon-Subduing Tiger-Subduing Master, Medicine Master, and a few others who witnessed the Mahayana and Hinayana Buddhism, few of the others could be looked at with a straight face.
"At that time, the World Honored One, with his supernatural powers, transformed the mountain into an infinite treasure mountain, all of which were..."

The majestic and peaceful Buddhist scriptures once again sounded from the lotus platform. The rippling Buddhist music slowly spread from the Main Hall and spread farther and farther until it spread throughout the entire Lingshan Mountain. Every corner was echoing with the Buddha's voice, which was filled with infinite wisdom.

At this moment, the four great Vajras who were guarding the gate of Lingshan Mountain and were gradually immersed in the melodious Buddhist music behind the gate suddenly paused. Among them, Beifang Duowen, who was golden in body, wearing golden armor, holding a pagoda in his left hand and a trident in his right hand, looked at the side with suspicion:

"Brother, I seem to hear some noise outside the door. Is there someone coming to pay a visit?"

"Pray to the mountain? What mountain are you praying to?" Eastern Heavenly King Dhritarashtra lazily leaned against the inner bolt, tapping his thighs to match the faint rhythm of Buddhist music in the air. He hummed and comforted his suspicious brother: "Alright, alright, who in Jiuzhou doesn't know that our Lingshan is closed? Who has nothing better to do than to come and pray to the mountain?"

"Those who are qualified, the Bodhisattvas have already come to inform us and wait for us. Those who are not qualified, why bother with him? It is better to listen to him and think about it. After all, there are not many opportunities for such generosity and happiness to be shared by all. If we are lucky, you and I may also become Bodhisattvas in the future."

"boom!!!"

A violent explosion suddenly sounded outside the tightly closed gate of Lingshan.

The four Vajras (Four Heavenly Kings) who were escaping work, either sitting or leaning against the door, had not even finished their words when the door suddenly broke and they were blown away from the spot, leaving four conspicuous lines in the smoke and clouds that exploded in an instant, and then fell straight towards somewhere in Lingshan.

The Lingshan Gate, to be precise, is the former Lingshan Gate.

At this time, as the smoke and dust slowly dissipated, the Lingshan Gate with its golden bricks, jade tiles, carved beams and painted rafters had long disappeared, replaced by a pile of ruins. The gate and the surrounding decorative walls were completely broken off. The glorious scenic spot in front of the gate, where countless Buddhists had kowtowed and sworn oaths in order to seek saints, was also blown beyond recognition by this sudden explosion. The remaining Buddha's light swayed gently like a candle in the wind, but was ruthlessly crushed by a kick that followed.

The sound of the square being destroyed and the gate collapsing shocked the entire Lingshan.

The Buddhas, who were just about to calm down and listen to the Buddha's chanting, hurriedly opened their eyes. Although they had just experienced a fight and did not dare to provoke the Buddha again in a short period of time, this did not prevent some people from doing some small actions secretly.

And more importantly, didn’t the Buddha plan for the big action in Heaven? Didn’t he make it clear that people could survive the catastrophe by quietly reciting Buddhist scriptures at home? Why is it that Lingshan suffered first when his own catastrophe hasn’t come yet?
Let’s not talk about how confused and suspicious the Buddhas were in their hearts.

Guanyin Bodhisattva shuddered faintly and suddenly looked towards the direction of the Lingshan Gate. She saw the empty ruins after the loss of the Four Vajra. In her eyes, the surrounding space was being forcibly distorted, and the crisp sound of glass shattering was endless.

Immediately afterwards, a magnificent body that looked like fire, wearing golden armor, with a dragon head on its face and a length of 1,200 feet, forced its way out of the narrow space passage of Lingshan and arrived inside the Lingshan Buddhist realm!
As a typical product of a small car hanging a big horse, the space in the direction of the gate used to have a huge crack of thousands of feet and the chaotic air constantly blowing from the dark depths, all proved that after this place was forcibly expanded, the weak space could not withstand further destruction!
Of course, this is not important. It’s just a piece of space. Even now, Lingshan has a lot of inventory, so it can afford to consume this little bit.

More importantly, when the Buddhas saw the figure rushing into Lingshan, and looked at the blood-red battle axe and the half-broken blade held upside down in his hand, their originally calm moods became disturbed again.

Beneath the turbulent state of mind, there are a large number of Buddhas who cannot even sit still.

Even the Bodhisattva Guanyin, who had just been chatting with the Buddha, looked a little pale.

All of Buddha's disciples are like this, and the expression of the Buddha himself needs no further explanation.

Anyway, when he was appeasing the Buddhas, he deduced a lot with the help of brief information, but he never imagined that the Heavenly Court would be so bold as to release Shao You directly in order to save money!

With the experiences of this thing, no matter how glorious the Heavenly Court’s past achievements were, they now seem a bit lonely.

Is this throttling?
This is clearly a recipe for disaster!!!

"Oh, Buddha, good morning!"

"Have you eaten? If not, eat me."
