Although I have completed two novels, totaling nearly two million words, I still consider myself a "newbie" in the novel world.

I started writing my first novel, "The Rebirth of a Noble Lady's Revenge", at the end of 2020.

Before this, I had always been a "literature lover".

"Ji Yin", the protagonist of "The Rebirth of a Noble Lady's Revenge".

It's in memory of my parents.

My parents' native place is Hebei, so I took Ji as my surname.

My father’s name contains the character “文” (literally “wen”), which means:

Mom and Dad will always be in my heart.

The second novel, "The Lady Who Travels Through the Book Has to Fight Monsters to Level Up", adds another female protagonist - "Ji Yun".

The character "鋆" was chosen because the author's surname is "Jin".

Using "two female protagonists" to enrich the shortcomings of the previous work.

In the past, I read many, many novels. Some of them, while reading, I felt that this setting was not good, that was not appropriate, that was too far-fetched, etc.

But after I actually started writing, I realized that it is not an easy task to depict a character that I am satisfied with and to express my ideas well and accurately.

During the one and a half years of "coding", I had to work during the day and used the evenings to upload chapters.

There is motivation and pressure.

Gradually, it became a habit.

Now that the whole article has ended, when I sit in front of the computer again, I actually feel a little disappointed...

Looking back, it was in the cold winter when I first started writing.
