Chapter 1337 Wala
At the foot of Xiaoqing Mountain, dozens of miles away from the vast sea, countless small tents surrounded a huge royal tent.

The owner of the royal tent was the Oirat king Yesüder.

Although most of the Oirat people have Turkic ancestry, Yesudier still has a pure Mongolian face, with a round face, high cheekbones, and single eyelids. Although his eyes are not big, they are bright and reveal his undisguised arrogance.

He is thirty-two years old this year, an age full of ambition and high aspirations.

Yesudiel had always been brooding over the failure of his ancestors. When he was in his teens, the Yuan Dynasty founded by Kublai Khan collapsed. This gave him the opportunity to avenge his ancestors and restore the Khanship. So he practiced martial arts every day for twenty years, recuperated, prepared for war, and patiently waited for the best time to step onto the stage.

When he learned in June this year that the Ming army was attacking Nahachu, he realized that the opportunity had come. So he began to gather his subordinates and formed an army of 80,000 people to march east to attack the isolated and helpless Northern Yuan court.

However, when he arrived at the Hangai Mountain area where the Northern Yuan Dynasty court was stationed, he found nothing. He captured the herdsmen who stayed behind and interrogated them, only to find that the Northern Yuan Dynasty court had already gone east. They said they wanted to support Nahachu, but in Yesudier's opinion, they were just afraid of him.

So he sent scouts eastward to find out the whereabouts of the Northern Yuan court, while leading his people slowly eastward. Just roaming in this area that was once their forbidden zone brought Yesudiel and the Oirat people a great sense of accomplishment.

When they arrived at the Kent Mountains where Genghis Khan was born, Yesüder and the other leaders swore to heaven that they would regain the throne that belonged to Ariq Böke, occupy this grassland forever, and restore the supreme glory of the Great Mongol Empire!
Before leaving Kent Mountain, the scouts sent out earlier brought back the news that Toghon Temur's entire army had been annihilated in Buyur Lake. This made Yesüder even more certain that he had received the blessing of Eternal Heaven and the recognition of the great Genghis Khan.

So he sent out scouts again to gather information and learned that Toghon Temur was retreating westwards. Then he learned that the Northern Yuan Prime Minister Yaozhu in Karakorum was leading 3,000 troops to move eastwards, apparently to meet Toghon Temur.

Yesüder acted decisively and led the Oirat army southward, attacking the Yaozhu tribe who were waiting for Toghon Temur at the Tula River and annihilated all of their 3,000 soldiers and horses.

When Toghon Temur fled westward to the Tuula River, he was attacked by the army of Yesüder, who had been waiting for a long time. There is no need to elaborate on what happened next...

In short, Yesüder followed Toghon Temur to the edge of the desert sea and chased down the fleeing remnants of the Northern Yuan Dynasty.

There were only about a hundred or eighty remnants in total, so there was certainly no need to send out so many Wala soldiers. So Yesudier led his army to camp in this beautiful place, waiting for the troops sent out to return from "hunting".

By this time, most of the hunting troops had returned and had captured their own prey, including Nieqilai, the Privy Councilor of the Northern Yuan Dynasty.

"Go in!" The Wala soldier pushed Nieqielai into the king's tent. Perhaps because of exhaustion or long-term hunger, Nieqielai's legs were unstable and he fell to the ground. This caused Yesudiel and a group of Wala leaders to laugh wildly.

"When Shiremen saw me, he was so scared that he sat down on the ground, and you just lay on the ground." Yesudel said sarcastically, "You two are such cowards, one civil and one military. No wonder Toghon Temur ended up like this."

Because they are located in the west of the desert, far away from Han civilization, and because they despise the Sinicization of the Yuan Dynasty, the Oirat people cannot speak Chinese or write Chinese characters. They still maintain their own ethnic traditions and speak Mongolian.

"Haha, if you haven't eaten proper food for more than ten days like us, you will become a weakling." Nie Qielai got up and sat cross-legged on the ground.

"You have fallen into this situation by yourselves. Why are you still trying to bully me?" Yesudel snorted and asked, "I just want to ask you one question, do you want to surrender or not?"

"What about Shiliemen? Did he surrender?" Nieqilai asked.

"Of course." Yesüdeer said.

"Let him come to see me, I will surrender as long as he surrenders." Nieqilai said in a muffled voice. "Why do you care whether he surrenders or not?" Yesudier's expression froze.

"That way he won't be able to laugh at me." Nie Qielai sneered, "If he didn't surrender and I surrendered, he would laugh at me for being shameless."

“…” Yesudier immediately became angry and slammed the table, saying, “Is it shameful to surrender to me?!”

"Isn't it embarrassing?" Nie Qielai asked back.

"You are courting death!" The princes of the Oirat tribe roared, "Your Majesty, why are you still talking to him? We will tear him into pieces and use his head as a drinking vessel. Let's see who dares to disrespect you again!"

Yesudel waved his hands and said to Neqielai with a smile: "Now the Mongols are all spineless, so I would like you to be a loyal subject. But if Toghon Temur is captured and surrenders to me, what will you do?"

"Let's catch him first." said Nie Qielai.

"He is already alone. Do you think he can escape from my net?" Yesudier sneered.

"Who knows?" Nie Qielai curled his lips. To be honest, he also thought that the emperor was doomed. But people always cry until they see the coffin.

"Well, then, I will let you see Toghon Temur surrender first!" Yesüdeer said in a deep voice. When people are in a favorable situation, they are always happy to show their magnanimous side.

After he finished speaking, he waved his hand. Just as the guards were about to take Nyeqielai away, a scout rushed into the tent, knelt on one knee, and shouted, "Oh no, my king! Someone attacked our army. Save Toghon Temur and his son!"

"What?!" Yesüdeer's face suddenly changed, and the atmosphere in the king's tent also suddenly changed.

The princes and nobles all said, "How is this possible? The Yuan court has no reinforcements left?!"

"The ones who rescued them should be... the Ming army." The scouts were not very sure, because they had never dealt with the Ming army before, and they could only tell that they were a group of Han people.

"Ming army, why did they come to Xiaohai?" Yesudier said in disbelief: "This place is nearly 2,000 miles away from Buihuerhai!"

"But they are well-trained and well-equipped. They should be regular troops." The scout whispered.

"Could it really be the Ming army?" Yesüdiel and the other leaders looked at each other.

"Hahaha!" At this time, Nieqielai laughed loudly and said, "Don't guess blindly. Let me tell you, it is indeed the Ming army! They chased us all the way from Buir Lake! Their purpose is the same as yours, to capture our emperor."

"Hiss, so that's it..." Yesudier said suddenly.

"What's wrong? Are you scared?" Nie Qielai asked sarcastically, "Why are you attacking us, the remnants of our army, but you are bullying the weak and afraid of the strong when facing the elite soldiers of the Ming army?"
