"Where do these delusions come from? Do they come from the heart or from external things? Do they originate from the body or from the mind? If you can't figure it out, then you are just a poor creature wandering around without knowing the way forward, how can you realize the truth?"

"I can't see the road ahead, I don't know what I want, I can only pray to the gods, and all I can say is what the Buddha said. You are such an idiot, you still want to break through that stupid 'ignorance'? Dream on!"

Wu Man's face suddenly changed. The Bodhisattva look she had just had disappeared, and she became hideous and terrifying. The atmosphere around her suddenly became as heavy as water. The people who were queuing to go out trembled with fear, and an old man almost fell down.

"Who are you turning your back on?" Zhang Zhiwei reached out to help the old man, not even looking at Wu Man, who looked unhappy, and continued, "Your mind is shaken, and your thoughts are controlled by delusions."

Wu Man was startled, her eyes flickered, and she quickly adjusted her mood and said in a deep voice: "I was not like this before. I could talk about Buddhism and sermons with others for three days and three nights without getting tired. Why can the little Taoist priest ruin my mood with just one word?"

When he was discussing Buddhism with Old Master Wang, the old masters didn't treat him well, calling him a demon, but he was "unmoved by the wind, sitting upright on the purple gold lotus", which was completely different from now. Zhang Zhiwei said calmly: "Because you don't ask for anything from them, their words can't shake you, but you ask for something from me, so a few words can shake your thinking."

This time, I no longer fought for justice, but lived in seclusion in the market, becoming an ordinary person. However, what I experienced were just the same old mundane and trivial things. After a few years, I returned to the mountains to practice Buddhism."

"This time when I returned to the mountain, I made further progress in Buddhist principles. After sitting in the Great Hall for several days, I entered the Quanxing realm with the idea that if I don't go to hell, then who will? I wanted to use them to break through ignorance and see that the five aggregates are empty, but..."

Wu Man sighed: "It's all false after all!"

"Because he wanted to improve so badly and was in a hurry, but he didn't have a guide like Senior Brother Zhang, so he went astray!" Lu Jin whispered.

Hearing this, Lu Ci was thoughtful.

Inside the house, after listening to Wu Man's mental journey, Zhang Zhiwei said:

"You have been a monk three times and returned to secular life three times. You are like a flea, going in and out three times. If you were with my master, he would break your legs. Perhaps... the closest you have ever been to the so-called 'ignorance' was your first time down the mountain!"

Wu Man was shocked and looked stunned: "The first time I entered the world to practice, I violated many precepts and killed some good people by mistake while doing justice and punishing evil. That's why I returned to the mountain. Why is it the most recent time? I don't understand!"

"Everyone's path is different, so we can't generalize!" Zhang Zhiwei said with a look of reminiscence on his face:

"I remember when I first started practicing, my master asked me, some people practice to cultivate principles, some people practice to cultivate blessings, wealth, and means. He asked me what I wanted, and I said, I don't make a choice, I want them all."

"Master scolded me for being arrogant and said that before practicing, I should first observe my inner self clearly. This is the Tao and wisdom. If I am not clear about my own thoughts and cannot even do this most basic thing, then what is the point of practicing? It is just deceiving myself!"

Zhang Zhiwei looked at Wu Man and said, "You practiced in the mountains and thought you could do it. You sat high on the lotus platform and your mind was stable. But once you entered the world, your mind was no longer stable and the flowers on the lotus platform fell one by one."

"You can only leave the world but not enter it. You can enter the Buddha but not the devil. You think this is an obstacle, this is desire, this is the six senses are not pure. You want to be a Buddha when you leave the world and still be a Buddha when you enter the world, so you are confused and in pain."

"But in fact, this is also an obstacle. It is normal for people to have desires. The six senses are something we are born with. If you want to cut off all of these six senses, I don't know if your Buddha can do it, but in our Taoism, it is not necessary."

"In our opinion, to achieve peace and freedom, one only needs to keep the mind clear and not be affected by the outside world, so as to reach the state of true response to things, true nature, constant response, constant tranquility, and constant purity."

“In short, there are so many things that people can pursue in their lives that they forget what they want most, so in order to get it, they have to give up something.”

"Learn to let go, know how to let go, maintain your true nature, always be at ease, and not be disturbed by external things. Use stillness to control movement, and use control to control evil. Therefore, you will not be troubled by the invasion of external delusions, and you can get it."

When the inner demon invaded that level, he went into the inner scene alone and entered the trap of the "National Master". He realized himself and let go of his delusions, which is why he stayed with the "National Master".

It's not just because he possesses the Samadhi True Fire, which can help him control the "National Master", but also because he has truly let it go.

Zhang Zhiwei's words made Wu Man fall into deep thought, and she murmured, "What I want most...to break through ignorance...to see the five aggregates...ignorance...five aggregates...let go...and get it..."

All kinds of words jumped in his mind. Superficially, he seemed to have grasped something, but when he looked deeper, it seemed as if he had grasped nothing.

This made Wu Man extremely miserable. He seemed to be exhausted, but he said in a very small voice:

"Let go, let go, how to let go, how to let go? If I can break through ignorance and see that the five aggregates are empty, I am willing to give up everything!"

"You ask me how to let go?!"

Zhang Zhiwei smiled and said, "Why do people have troubles? Why do they suffer? Because they are obsessed with something, so Taoism teaches us to 'let go'."

"But people are so pitiful. The more they want to let go, the harder it is to let go. The more you hear 'let go', the more you think about how to let go every day. And then, well, you have one more delusion, which is 'let go'."

"You asked me how to let go, then I tell you, let go of your 'let go', then let go!"

"Let go of my 'let go'?" Wu Man stared at Zhang Zhiwei blankly, almost going crazy. He came to seek for truth, but the more he begged, the more confused he became.

Zhang Zhiwei glanced at the ancestral hall hall, which was empty, and rolled up his sleeves.

Others haven't understood it for decades, how can he make it clear in just a few words?
