Chapter 625: New Enlightenment, Using My True Qi to Harmonize with the Creation of Heaven and Earth

Chapter 625: New Enlightenment, Using My True Qi to Harmonize with the Creation of Heaven and Earth
After walking out of the Great Shangqing Palace and bidding farewell to his uncle and Aunt Lan, Zhang Zhiwei slowly walked towards the Tianshi Mansion.

At this moment, it was midnight, the sun was setting, and he was walking on the winding mountain path.

Zhang Zhiwei has walked this somewhat rugged path many times. In the past, he thought it was ordinary and did not pay much attention to it. He came and went in a hurry.

But today, he paid attention to the scenery along the road, the foxtail grass and dandelions on both sides of the path, and the sparse trees in twos and threes.

The hill across the trail from Shangqing Town is bare, and people from the town often come to chop firewood. There are no dead leaves or hay on the ground, and the woodcutters will pick them up to use as kindling.

One can only remember the beauty of his hometown after leaving it several times. Zhang Zhiwei is no exception. He went down the mountain several times and entered the world several times. He saw the bright lights and nightlife of the Magic City and the intrigues of Liaodong, and only then did he realize the tranquility and peace of the mountains.

Along the way, you can occasionally see people meditating on the flat rocks around them. They are practicing the Golden Light Mantra to strengthen their own lives.

The most important thing for ordinary people to practice cultivation is tranquility. Zhang Zhiwei is the chief disciple of this generation and is praised wherever he goes.

In order not to disturb his fellow disciples' practice, and also to be able to quietly appreciate the mountain scenery, he adjusted his spine, controlled his own Qi, entered a state of unity between man and nature, made his Qi undetectable, and walked on the mountain path as if no one was around.

Walking on this mountain path that seemed ordinary in the past gave Zhang Zhiwei a completely different feeling. Inexplicably, he felt very empty in his heart. It was a very quiet feeling.

Different from the tranquility he had achieved in the past through meditation, the tranquility he had now was given to him by the environment. It was not that his heart was quiet, but that the surroundings were quiet.

But those who are restless in mind will not feel deeply this kind of quietness, and those who are calm in mind and focus on themselves will also not feel it deeply.

Only those who can resonate with the stillness of themselves and the stillness of heaven and earth can feel it most deeply.

In this atmosphere, his thoughts were clearer than ever before. He had been anxious to return to his chamber to think about the sage's way before, but now he had new insights, new ideas, and a new path.

"Or maybe it's not a new path. There is nothing new in the world. What you have realized may have been realized by others thousands of years ago."

Zhang Zhiwei muttered to himself and looked up at the sky, only to find that while he was in a daze, the sun had already set and it was already night.

Longhu Mountain at night also has a unique scenery, with many ancient buildings glowing in the moonlight.

The air was filled with the faint scent of incense and candles. In the distance one could hear the faint sound of chanting and bells, and nearby one could hear the chirping of insects.

Zhang Zhiwei closed his eyes, and the Qi in his body surged, deepening the connection between himself and the heaven and earth.

People have a pattern, and the world they live in also has a pattern. People are in the world all the time. If the pattern of people and the pattern of the world are integrated into one, then it is the unity of man and nature.

But everyone knows that harmony between man and nature is good, but only a few people can actually achieve it. It requires harmony between heart and mind, mind and Qi, Qi and spirit, and then man and nature can be harmonious.

It is difficult enough to achieve unity of mind and spirit, let alone unity of Qi and intention, so that even fewer people can control Qi according to their own will as easily as using one's own arm. Even fewer people can contain their own Tao in Qi, let alone the unity of man and nature.

This is a mysterious state that is difficult to explain and can only be understood. It is difficult for ordinary practitioners to achieve it in their entire lives. Even Zhang Zhiwei, who reached this state, had to go through a tortuous and difficult road.

At this moment, he was standing in the Longhu Mountain, looking up at the starry sky, sitting cross-legged on the ground. He did not think about what the missing part of the Qingxuan Method was. Instead, he remembered the words of a great Taoist master from the time of Zu Tianshi - with my true Qi and the creation of heaven and earth.

"To combine my true Qi with the creation of heaven and earth, this is undoubtedly the ability of a saint who absorbs the power of heaven and earth. And this true Qi does not refer only to Qi. The birth of a person is the result of the differentiation of essence, energy and spirit from the innate Qi. This true Qi should refer to the Qi of the Three Talents."

Humans have three talents: essence, qi and spirit.

The earth has three elements: water, fire and wind.

There are three elements in the sky, namely the sun, the moon and the stars.

"The Qi of the Three Talents, the Saint's Thief, the Saint's Way!"

Zhang Zhiwei seemed to have some feelings and silently repeated these two words in his mind. Although there was only one word difference, there was a world of difference between them.

No matter whether it is Qing Xuan's method of immortal soul, the Six-Storage Immortal Thief in the Eight Wonders, or the more shallow Stepping Gang Bu Dou, no matter how magical they are and how amazing the effects are, they are just the saints' stealing methods, which is "stealing" rather than "Tao".

But Zhang Zhiwei comprehended a hint of the "Sage's Way" from Qingxuan's "Sage's Thief".

"The way of the sage is an extraordinary way, it seizes the creation of heaven and earth, and invades the mysteries of the sun and the moon!"

Zhang Zhiwei said to himself, he remembered that his master had asked him to go to the Taoist Temple to read "Journey to the West" when he had time.

"Journey to the West" has been passed down to this day, with many versions and different opinions.

Although the content of "Journey to the West" collected in the Taoist Canon Hall is similar to the version circulating outside, the language is more obscure.

Zhang Zhiwei also took a special look at the author, and it was not Wu Chengen, but Qiu Chuji.

Many people’s impression of Qiu Chuji comes from The Legend of the Condor Heroes. Among the Seven True Men, only seven of them can be on par with the Five Great Masters, and their strength is mediocre.

But in fact, the real Qiu Chuji was much more powerful than the one in The Legend of the Condor Heroes. He was the founder of the Quanzhen Longmen Sect.

The Longmen Sect is the most adept sect in Taoism at cultivating nature and life. It advocates abandoning all heterodox methods and only cultivating nature and life. For example, Lu Linglong, the granddaughter of Lu Jin in later generations, is a member of the Quanzhen Longmen Sect.

At the same time, he was also a disciple of Wang Chongyang. Wang Chongyang and Liu Haichan were collectively known as the Five Patriarchs of Quanzhen. Liu Haichan's disciple was Zhang Boduan.

It can be said that Qiu Chuji and Zhang Boduan are of the same generation, and even in terms of the cultivation of life and death, Qiu Chuji is even better than Zhang Boduan.

Moreover, Qiu Chuji and Genghis Khan lived in the same period. Genghis Khan conquered the world and committed heinous crimes. Qiu Chuji once traveled thousands of miles to meet Genghis Khan. He stopped the killing with just a few words and saved the lives of tens of thousands of people.

Because Qiu Chuji was born in the year of the dragon and Genghis Khan was born in the year of the horse, this meeting is known in history as the meeting of the dragon and the horse.

There is no need to say much about Genghis Khan, he was one of the few extraordinary kings who could unify the world. The bloodline he left behind still possesses incredible power even after hundreds of years.

If Qiu Chuji could make this person treat him with courtesy and change his mind, then how could he be a person who gained his reputation in vain?
Zhang Zhiwei certainly read the works he left behind carefully, although the words used in them were extremely obscure and mysterious, and ordinary people could not understand them at all. Even if they understood them, they would just treat them as the plot of a novel.

With Zhang Zhiwei's ability of comprehension, it was naturally possible for him to not understand it, but many of the principles were too simple, and he had already understood them, so it had little impact on him.

He also regarded some very mysterious things as rhetoric in novels, such as "I will devote my whole life to Buddhism when I am old" and "I want to leave the world" and other mysterious words.

But at this moment, those mysterious words suddenly appeared in my mind, and the originally obscure sentences gradually became clear.

"In Journey to the West, the monkey sought the method of immortality. After Bodhi Patriarch taught him, he said that although he could achieve immortality and maintain his youthful appearance and longevity, he could not escape the 'three disasters.'" "The first disaster is the thunderstorm, which means that the sky and the earth will suddenly send thunder to strike you."

"The second disaster is a fire. This fire is not heavenly fire, nor is it ordinary fire, but Yin fire. This fire starts from the Yongquan acupoint and goes straight through the Niyuan Palace. The five internal organs are reduced to ash, the limbs are all rotten, and all cultivation is illusory."

"The third disaster is a disaster of wind. This wind is not the wind from the southeast, northwest, or warm, nor is it the wind from the flowers, willows, pines, or bamboos. It is called the crow wind, which blows from the fontanelle on the top of the head into the six internal organs, through the dantian, through the nine orifices, and the bones and flesh disappear, and the body disintegrates."

"Although these three disasters sound mysterious, if you think about it carefully, they are nothing more than thunder, fire, and wind. Among the five elements, water produces thunder. In other words, the three disasters are actually the three talents."

"It is said in Journey to the West that if you avoid the three disasters, you will survive. But can you really avoid them? However, the three disasters come in cycles, one after another. The longer you avoid them, the more terrible they become. You must use special methods to deal with them."

"In Journey to the West, the monkey learned the method of 72 transformations to avoid the three disasters. But from the subsequent story, it seems that it is more like facing the three disasters than avoiding them. He was struck by lightning and burned by fire in heaven. Aren't these the three disasters?"

"In other words, if you want to live forever, avoid the three disasters, and become an immortal saint, it is not enough to just absorb the essence of heaven and earth. You must face the three disasters directly, that is, the qi of the three elements of heaven and earth."

Thoughts flashed through Zhang Zhiwei's mind. He still remembered that when he traveled to the Lu family to attend Old Master Lu's birthday celebration, his master had asked him about his path. He said that he did not want to be a traveler, but a great sage, who could overturn the tripod with force and be as violent as the heavens.

What is a Great Sage? Anyone who can withstand the three disasters is a Great Sage.

With this thought in mind, Zhang Zhiwei stepped on the ground, man became one with heaven and earth, heaven and earth resonated with each other, and he tried to let his own Three Elements Qi touch the Three Elements Qi of heaven and earth.

However, because his Saint Thief still had a layer of membrane that had not been broken through, even though heaven and man had communicated, there was no real bridge connecting heaven and earth.

Therefore, his action could not truly touch the Qi of the Three Elements in heaven and earth and trigger the three disasters.

After all, how fragile is one's own essence, qi, and spirit? How powerful are the water, fire, and wind of heaven and earth? The degree of danger of the combination of the two can be imagined. Otherwise, why is it called the Three Disasters?

The scene of being struck by lightning during the last practice is still vivid in my mind.

Zhang Zhiwei likes to do things simply and directly, so he gives people a reckless feeling, but in fact, he is not reckless at all and is very smart most of the time.

Just like it is now.

Under the interaction between heaven and man, not long after, thunder shook the sky, dark clouds gathered, and lightning lava rolled inside, and it seemed that it was about to thunder and rain.

"Is it going to rain by itself, or because of me?"

Zhang Zhiwei was observing the sky, feeling an inexplicable throbbing in his heart. He had a feeling that the thunder was coming towards him.

With this thought, Zhang Zhiwei continued his communication with heaven and man. Although he did not come into contact with the Qi of the three elements of heaven, earth, and spirit, the sound of thunder also rang out in his body, reflecting the thunder in the sky, singing in unison, as if they were happening in sync.

Because the thunder in the sky covered up the thunder in Zhang Zhiwei's body,

Soon, thunder and lightning flashed, and heavy rain poured down.

The disciples of Mount Longhu who were practicing outside, one by one, chanted the Golden Light Mantra to block out the rain and returned to the Tianshi Mansion.

Zhang Zhiwei, on the other hand, was not in a hurry. He walked in the heavy rain. He did not use the Golden Light Mantra to avoid the rain. With every breath he took, the raindrops that fell on him slid down automatically without any effort and did not wet his clothes.

In the past, when he dealt with this kind of situation, he either used golden light to block the rain like his other fellow disciples, or used his physical strength to shake away the rain. No matter which one he did, it was a fight against the outside world and could not be considered as following the laws of nature.

But Zhang Zhiwei is now going with the flow, entering a subtle state of harmony between man and nature, his body like a lotus leaf, pure and spotless.

In the heavy rain, Zhang Zhiwei walked casually, he seemed to merge with the entire rain curtain. Thunder rumbled in the sky, and tree-branch-like lightning flashed continuously in the clouds, wanting to strike someone, but without any specific target.

Less than a minute later, Zhang Zhiwei's mind moved, and he came out of the state of communication between heaven and man. The thunder in the sky suddenly stopped, the heavy rain also stopped, the dark clouds dissipated, and the moon reappeared.

The heavy rain came quickly and went away quickly, and it only covered part of the area in front of the Tianshi Mansion in Longhu Mountain, and the back mountain was not even wet.

Zhang Zhiwei was walking on the mountain path without a single stain of water on his body. Around him were some of his fellow junior brothers who had returned home to avoid the rain.

Not every Taoist priest’s Golden Light Mantra has been cultivated to the point of transforming Qi into a physical form, so many people got wet.

These people were originally anxious to go back to avoid the rain, but before they could run back, the heavy rain stopped. Just when they were feeling a little strange, they discovered Zhang Zhiwei, who had unlocked the communication between heaven and man and could sense Qi.

"Brother Zhiwei, when did you come back? We haven't seen you giving morning lessons these past few days, and we all missed you so much!"

"Brother Zhiwei, what did you do when you came down the mountain this time? Tell us about it!"

"It's pouring rain, but there's not a single drop of moisture on your body. You're truly worthy of being called Senior Brother Zhiwei!"

"Brother Zhiwei, speaking of which, you were not in the mountains these days, and a lot of strange things happened in the mountains!"

As soon as they saw Zhang Zhiwei, the junior fellow students greeted him enthusiastically and started talking to him at once.

Zhang Zhiwei originally wanted to tell his fellow apprentices what he had done since he went down the mountain, but suddenly he heard that a lot of strange things had happened in the mountains, so he hurriedly asked what the strange things were.

A junior fellow student said, "These past few days, we went to work in the fields after morning classes as usual, but found that the fields we were supposed to plow had already been plowed, and they were plowed so cleanly."

"We didn't take it seriously at the time, thinking it was done by some diligent fellow apprentice, so we returned to the mountain to rest."

"The next day, we changed a field to plow, but to our surprise, it was still plowed clean, so we went back to rest."

"On the third day, it was still the same. We all suspected that the fields in the mountains had become spirits and could plow the land by themselves!"

The junior fellow laughed.

Zhang Zhiwei said angrily: "What nonsense are you talking about? How can the land plow itself? Don't you know to watch over it and investigate?"

The junior brother scratched his head and said with a smile: "Brother, look at what you said. If we succeed in defending, and the other party doesn't plow the fields anymore, what should we do then? "

Zhang Zhiwei was speechless: "You are so sneaky and cunning. You have corrupted the morals of Longhu Mountain. Go back quickly and let me see who has nothing to do after eating and is digging the ground in the middle of the night."
