Chapter 1065 Black Paradise

Chapter 1065 Black Paradise
Even if blacks are included in the total population data of East Africa, their proportion is only about 5%, while the black population in the United States accounts for about 14% of the total U.S. population, surpassing East Africa to become the world's largest black country.

That's right, through the "efforts" of East Africa, the United States has become the country with the largest black population in the world. Although West Africa is the homeland of black people, the West African countries are fragmented and further divided up by European and American colonists, which makes the black population of a single West African country or colony far less than that of East Africa or the United States.

Although there are only more than 7 million black people left in East Africa, it is difficult for a single black country to have a population exceeding this number given the generally low productivity in West Africa. For example, Nigeria, which had the largest population in Africa in the past, is now just a geographical concept, with many countries and tribes, as well as colonies of countries such as Britain.

Its total population may be over 10 million, but it cannot be considered a country. It can at least be divided into three parts: the two British Nigeria protectorates, the Kingdom of South Germany (occupied part), and local indigenous forces.

The population of the Abyssinian Empire is over 10 million, but Abyssinia is a mixed race of black and white, not a single black country. Especially after excluding the southern black areas in Ethiopia in the previous life in East Africa, the proportion of black ancestry in the entire Abyssinian population is actually smaller.

"We can only use illegal workers for a dozen years at most, and then they will naturally die out. This also means that our country's economic development will face the problem of transformation," said Derich, Minister of Transport of East Africa.

The black people in East Africa are basically adult males. Even if East Africa wants to use them as "perpetual motion machines", the limitation of their life span does not allow it. With their life span, it would be considered a long life if they could hold on for another ten years.

The decrease in the number of black people is obviously not conducive to the current industrial development in East Africa, because black people are the cheapest labor force in East Africa and have made great contributions to the early development and subsequent industrial construction of East Africa.

"Eliminating the role of black people in our industry is the inevitable path for our economic development. We cannot always rely on external labor to support our development. Moreover, the jobs that black people do are concentrated in the lowest-end industries and can be completely replaced by local people, but they are not as useful as black people."

"But this does not have much impact on us. At present, the development and transformation of our country has been basically completed as a whole. We have built a relatively systematic water conservancy, railway and road transportation network. This also means that the most difficult time is over. Compared with other parts of the world, our conditions in East Africa are not bad in all aspects." Siwei Te said.

Derich: "According to the initial development goals for this century, my country still has at least 100,000 kilometers of railways and millions of kilometers of roads that have not been built, as well as many more water conservancy projects that have not been completed. At the same time, many risky industries, such as mining, require black labor."

"Besides, the degree of mechanization in our country is not high at present. It will take at least several decades to achieve a high degree of mechanization. Before that, black labor can greatly save our costs."

For East African government departments such as the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Water Resources, and the Ministry of Railways, the importance of black labor is particularly prominent. Before the establishment of the East African Economic Community, there was not a single decent road, let alone a railway or canal in East Africa. It is no exaggeration to say that the early transportation, water resources, and agricultural development in East Africa were supported by black people.

Of course, with the population growth, most areas in East Africa no longer need blacks. For example, in the agricultural field, East Africa has completely eliminated blacks. Today, the use of blacks in East Africa is mainly concentrated in infrastructure construction and mining industries.

Siwei Te said: "Eliminating black laborers is a basic national policy. Many black laborers eat more than they work due to their age, so we can't just wait for natural elimination. We also need to resume some shipping business and deploy them to West Africa."

Due to large-scale infrastructure construction, East Africa has not exported black slaves for more than ten years. After all, the slave trade also has huge risks.

Of course, as Sweet said, it would be a good idea to find a way to send these older blacks to West Africa. These over-age blacks are basically of no use to East Africa.

Simply exiling them to West Africa was also related to the slave trade. After all, the essence of trade is exchange, and East Africa did not gain any benefits in this process, so it naturally did not count as "slave trade." It was also relatively simple to operate. Trade between East Africa and Western Europe and America became increasingly frequent, so most ships on the West Coast would pass through West Africa, and every time they would take a little bit of these blacks with them, they could throw them to West Africa.

After all, East Africa is a "hell" for black people, or they can spend their old age in peace in West Africa. Although West Africa is now also the territory of colonists from all sides, it is better than East Africa, a place where there is no human rights at all.

Looking around the world, black people in the United States now have the third highest status among all black people in the world. As for the first and second, they are Haiti and Liberia, these two countries have deep ties with the United States. Haiti is considered an economic radiation area of the United States, while Liberia is almost equivalent to a U.S. colony.

Today, black people on the African continent have basically lost their freedom. Although black people in the United States are discriminated against in American society, they have much more freedom than those in East Africa or West Africa.

The number of black people in American society alone is as high as more than 10 million, and they are widely involved in the construction of American agriculture and industry. As for the problem of low political status, in the United States, people are originally divided into different classes. Except for the British and Jews, the Irish, Germans, Italians, Indians, Japanese, and Chinese were all similar in the past.

Of course, with the rise of East Africa, Germany, and the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the social status of Germans in the United States has now greatly improved.

In the past, Germany had not yet been unified, the Austro-Hungarian Empire was half-dead, and because of Hungary, it could not be considered a true German country. East Africa was just a small colonial country in a remote corner. The Germans in the United States were relatively weak.

Of course, in addition to the rise of the German nation, another major reason for the improvement of the status of Germans in the United States is that in the 1970s and 1980s, East Africa siphoned off the poor German population in the United States through the economic crisis. During the economic crisis, the German population who were able to continue to stay in the United States must have a certain social status or a stable source of income.

Now it is mainly Italians and Neapolitans who have replaced the Germans in the ecological niche in the United States and are the main force of American gangs and violent groups.

Of course, relatively speaking, those at the bottom of society are non-Europeans. East Africa does not belong to European countries and is relatively unwelcome in the United States, but it does not enjoy the "non-citizen treatment" of the United States.

Among them, native American blacks and Asians are truly at the bottom of American society. Even so, the status of American blacks is much higher than that of East African blacks.

At least they can freely find jobs, even marry and have children, and the wives that black Americans marry may even be those who were trafficked from East Africa through Haiti.

Looking back now, the black people who were sold to the United States from East Africa can be said to have caught a good time. After all, after the Civil War, American blacks were freed from their slavery. The United States is one of the world's superpowers, with a stable society and strong economic strength. Even the lowest-level blacks can basically get enough to eat.

Blacks in other regions are living a life worse than death, including the black people's homeland in West Africa, where they are not only exploited by the local black upper class, but also skinned by the colonists. Blacks in East Africa are used like "ruthless" machines by East Africa, depriving them of their right to marry and have children as well as their freedom in life, and living a life in darkness. From this perspective, the United States is indeed the only "paradise" for blacks in the world today.
