Chapter 1252 Military Arrangements

Chapter 1252 Military Arrangements
Rhine City.

After obtaining the Isthmus of Kra, the Central East African State also put the construction of the Isthmus of Kra territory on the agenda.

Chief of the General Staff Cristiano said: "Although the Imperial Navy has already gone to the Isthmus of Kra, this is only the first step in the implementation of military occupation. The Navy is only responsible for occupying islands, ports, or important cities near the coast. Later, the Army and Marines will be dispatched to the hinterland to clear out the local indigenous people."

"Specifically, the first step is to select elite troops from the army troops originally assigned to East Kalimantan and send them to the Kra Isthmus to provide guidance to the follow-up troops."

The war in East Kalimantan has ended, but the East African army sent to East Kalimantan has not yet been withdrawn.

According to the arrangement of the General Staff, these soldiers were obviously going to return home to rest, but the incorporation of the Kra Isthmus territory forced the General Staff to draw a group of outstanding talents from the current East Kalimantan garrison to the Kra Isthmus to guide other troops.

In this regard, Cristiano also explained to Ernst, Friedrich and others: "In the past two years, the Imperial Army in East Kalimantan has accumulated profound experience in tropical jungle combat."

“And the troops newly sent to the Kra Isthmus Territory have not undergone actual combat training.”

"But after analysis by our General Staff, it is clear that the intensity of the war in the Kra Isthmus will exceed that in East Kalimantan."

"First, the population density of the Kra Isthmus is much higher than that of East Kalimantan. Second, the leakage of some details of our large-scale military operations in East Kalimantan in the past will inevitably lead to vigilance and fierce resistance from the locals. Third, although the Kra Isthmus is not large in area, the terrain is very complex, with many jungles, swamps, mountains and other complex terrains. Fourth, the local ethnic groups and religions are more complicated."

Regarding the fourth point mentioned by Cristiano, it also exists in East Kalimantan, but the Kra Isthmus Territory has a high level of civilization because of its long history of development.

The most significant difference between the two is that there are a large number of uncivilized primitive tribes in East Kalimantan, but this is impossible in the Kra Isthmus territory.

There are three religious forces in the Isthmus of Kra, namely Buddhism, Arabia and Hinduism. The population composition here is also more complex. In addition to Siamese and Malays, there are also a large number of Indians and Far Eastern Empire people.

However, these religions or other forces are obviously not comparable to the completely primitive tribal indigenous people of East Kalimantan.

Therefore, Cristiano emphasized: "The power of the locals must not be underestimated. After all, the Isthmus of Kra is the intersection of Eastern and Western civilizations, and logistics and trade are relatively developed, which means that the local forces may get support from countries such as Britain or France."

"Especially the British. The Isthmus of Kra borders the British colony of Pattani. We cannot rule out the possibility that the British will export weapons to the locals."

Of course, this is only a possibility. At present, in order to support World War I, Britain's colonies are basically providing blood transfusions to the mainland. Countries such as India, Canada, and Australia, in addition to sending troops and supplies to the mainland, have even taken over some military product orders from the UK.

This was unimaginable in the past. Industrial production has always been carried out in Britain and then sold to the colonies. But now the colonies are supplying industrial products to Britain in reverse. This also shows the huge gap in materials and production capacity in Britain.

Therefore, it is more likely that Britain will not put obstacles in East Africa's way at this time, or at least will not provide substantial military assistance to local forces.

However, the British are good at deception and discord. Although Britain is unable to provide substantial assistance to the local area now, it can give the various forces in the Isthmus of Kra the confidence to fight against East Africa through lobbying and providing trade channels. This is how Ukraine was fooled in the past.

Therefore, Cristiano did not rule out the British factor. It is never too much to be cautious and vigilant against a country like this that often harms others and does not benefit itself.

The possibility of other countries is even smaller. Although France has many interests in Siam, it is impossible for France to offend East Africa, not to mention that the Kra Isthmus does not border France's colonies in Southeast Asia. Ernst expressed his support for Cristiano's point of view: "Now Britain's resources must be prioritized for the European war. The resources they can mobilize on the Malay Peninsula are only at the political and diplomatic level."

"For example, we lobbied the Arab religious forces in the British colonies on the Malay Peninsula to provide support for their relatives and friends, especially the people in the British colony of Patani, who can be said to be completely one family with the Arab religious forces in Patani under our rule."

The Patani region was once again mentioned prominently, and it would be completely unrealistic for East Africa not to be on guard against British Patani.

After all, East Africa has already severely offended the Arab religious forces in the South Seas, and the Arab religious forces have always had strong cohesion.

If East Africa wants to take action against the Arab forces in the Isthmus of Kra, the Arab forces in the British colonies will certainly not remain indifferent.

Although they are unlikely to risk their lives for their "compatriots", they can still donate money and supplies to their Arab compatriots in the Isthmus of Kra.

It would be easier for the British to do this if they only had to stir up the religious sentiments of the Arab believers in their colonies on the Malay Peninsula.

Cristiano said: "Your Majesty is right, so the southern part of the Kra Isthmus, especially the Pattani area, we have designated it as a key monitoring area, and once the flow of people is completed, we will officially block the borders of the two Pattani areas."

It cannot be said that East Africa did not give the Patani people a chance. At least according to the arrangements of the East African military, the original population had to be expelled from the country through intimidation.

Those who refused to leave despite the intimidation from the East African army were basically stubborn elements, and they could only be made to taste the iron fist of the East African army.

So Cristiano said: "A large-scale war in the Kra Isthmus is bound to happen. We estimate that the number of people fleeing will be around 100,000, but most people will choose to stay there and fight us."

Just think about it and you will know that it is impossible for East Africa to make local forces willingly give up decades or even hundreds of years of foundation as soon as they open their mouths, especially for the local powerful class.

Their power, status, connections, and wealth all come from the local area. Even if they flee overseas with a large amount of wealth, they are nothing more than stray dogs, and other places will not easily accept them into their circle of people.

Cristiano went on to say: "In this situation, our troops face various challenges, especially the harsh local environment, unfamiliar terrain, complex vegetation, etc."

"All of these require experienced veterans to lead the team. This is also the main reason why we advocate the transfer of elite soldiers from East Kalimantan. They will be responsible for the training and guidance of the Kra Isthmus Territory troops and impart tropical jungle combat experience to the new troops. As for the large forces in East Kalimantan, they will return home to rest."

It is understandable if you think about it. The troops stationed in East Kalimantan have been fighting for two years and are exhausted. Therefore, it is impossible for East Africa to let them perform new combat missions, which will easily cause negative emotions among the grassroots troops.

However, we cannot let them all return home, as the troops sent to the Isthmus of Kra to carry out the mission have never had any actual combat experience.

In this case, their combat effectiveness is very questionable. If they are dealing with uncivilized natives with extremely backward weapons and equipment in East Kalimantan, the East African army can completely crush them with its strength. However, this approach will not work when facing the more civilized Kra Isthmus region.

Experienced veterans and outstanding officers must provide early escort for troops that have not been tested in actual combat.
