Chapter 869: Crime City (IV)

The nightclub was raided because of drug problems, and internal surveillance naturally fell into the hands of the South Korean police.

The next morning, when Jack sent the wanted criminal team on the plane and arrived at the Wide Area Search Team office next to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, Ma Xidao and several colleagues were huddled in front of a computer screen watching surveillance footage.

"The picture quality is too bad. I can't even see the face clearly." Ma Xidao had just finished complaining when he looked up and saw Jack, raised his hand and greeted him.

"Hey, go pour the guests a cup of tea. Use the good tea imported from China." He asked a younger brother to pour tea for Jack, and personally moved a chair for Jack.

Jack didn't hesitate and sat down at an empty desk. "What did you learn?"

Ma Xidao slapped a wanted warrant on the table and said, "At least Prosecutor Jin has authorized the investigation to continue."

Jack picked up the wanted poster and saw that it read "Wanted for drug smuggling, trafficking and murder suspect." There was no name or identity, only a sketch based on the surveillance video.

He raised his eyebrows, his eyes full of doubt, "Can we catch someone in Korea this way?"

"Hey, this country has tens of millions of people, how could they be caught like this?" Ma Xidao scratched his head a little irritably, and waved to another younger brother, "You, go and bring the nightclub owner here."

The younger brother who was called nodded very respectfully, turned around and walked out.

Jack took the opportunity to look around the office, an ordinary room of less than 100 square meters, full of open desks and a surveillance camera installed on a load-bearing column.

It looks not much different from an ordinary police station in China, even the decoration style is almost the same.

The office doors are all glass doors that allow you to see inside from the outside at a glance. There is a blue striped sticker in the middle. If the Korean letters on them are replaced with Chinese, there will be no sense of incongruity.

Soon, the nightclub owner, with his handcuffs taken off, was escorted into the office with quick steps. He sat down in front of Ma Xidao with a carefree manner, his neck still bearing the red marks from when he grabbed his collar last night.

"Hey, let me ask you again, do you know this person?" Ma Xidao pushed the wanted poster in front of him impatiently, his brows furrowed.

"Your employee said that the drugs in his hand were given by this person. If you don't tell the truth, you will be beaten, do you know that?"

After a long silence, the nightclub owner finally raised his head, shook his hair, and exhaled heavily through his nose, "It's not that I don't want to tell you, it's that I really don't know."

As he spoke, the guy's voice actually got louder. Normally, Koreans talk as if they are arguing, but when their voices get louder, their attitude suddenly changes.

"Some bad employees secretly engage in illegal drug activities without telling their bosses. Where can I go to seek justice? What do you think?"

Ma Xidao subconsciously raised his arm, and several criminal police officers watching nearby suddenly became nervous. One of them quickly winked at him, indicating that the surveillance camera in the office was facing here.

Jack secretly held back his laughter and watched Ma Xidao clench and unclench his fists several times, but he finally swallowed his anger.

On the other hand, the attitude of the nightclub owner suddenly became more arrogant, and even Asiba said, "You, the police of the Republic of Korea, can you just arrest innocent people and interrogate them casually?
You even threatened me that you would be beaten. Isn't this torture? That's why the people are scolding you!"

As he kept calling him "Asiba", even Captain Zhang Taizhu, who had been busy at his desk, stood up and walked over, smiling and crossing his arms to watch the performance.

The guy became more and more excited as he talked. When he saw a detective brother bringing tea to Jack, he subconsciously licked his lips and glared at the other party, even though he had been spitting all over the place.

"Hey, go get me a cup of coffee. All you can do is kowtow to foreigners? Your own people are the foundation, you bastard!"

"Ah?" The detective was stunned. He pointed at himself and looked at his colleague next to him, "Me?"

Captain Zhang Taizhu laughed out loud, "Yes, that's right, I'm talking about you."

The other police officers also laughed, and one even pointed at the nightclub owner, saying, "This guy really isn't afraid of death."

Ma Xidao couldn't help but look at the pillar with the surveillance camera again. Captain Zhang Taizhu became nervous instead, "Hey, hey, hey, I warned you before. If you block the camera again, you will be punished by the higher-ups."

"What camera?" Jack stood up holding the teacup, walked to the pillar with a curious look on his face, reached out and pulled gently, and the power cord and plug of the surveillance camera were directly pulled out by him.

"Why do you Korean police have this in their offices? Police are also citizens and their privacy rights also need to be protected." "Bang!"

"Pfft!"

"Don't mess around, this is not your American FBI, we have rules and regulations!" Captain Zhang Taizhu hurriedly stepped forward and snatched the power cord from Jack, then turned around and looked in the direction of the voice in surprise.

The nightclub owner was seen falling on the desk next to him with his limbs twitching, and there was an exaggerated slap mark on his face.

"Hey, why are you so careless? Is the chair broken? Help him up quickly." Captain Zhang Taizhu waved at the police officers who were watching the excitement nearby. He is a real actor.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?"

"Are you okay, uncle? Cheer up. How can you fall asleep as soon as you say so?"

"Help him up, help him up, did he have a stroke?"

"Oh, this is such a hassle." Captain Zhang Taizhu was much shorter than Jack, so he moved a chair with great difficulty and stood on it to plug the surveillance camera back in.

"I was wrong, I was wrong, I'm fine, I'm fine." The nightclub owner, who was rushed over by the police and helped back to his seat, couldn't stop sliding down his seat and apologized repeatedly with his hands clasped together.

"Sit down properly." Ma Xidao grabbed his clothes impatiently and straightened him in the chair.

"I was wrong!" The nightclub owner lowered his head and almost hit his forehead on the desk between the two of them.

Ma Xidao waved his hand magnanimously, "Then let's start over and talk about the situation."

"This guy is our VIP guest who comes once a week." The nightclub owner spoke in a firm and powerful voice, as if he had been injected with chicken blood.

"He was always very generous, so I turned a blind eye to his behavior of taking the drunk girl out of the KTV. I was wrong. I'm sorry!"

"Go on." Ma Xidao took out a pen and paper with a serious look on his face and prepared to take notes.

The nightclub owner blinked several times, his expression frozen, "That's all."

"I think the location of your surveillance camera is very unreasonable. It needs to be readjusted." Jack was about to reach out to pull the power cord again in a serious manner.

"Let me help. Your FBI experience is very useful. I'll go find a ladder so that we can adjust it slowly." The dramatic captain began to look around, as if there was really a ladder in the office.

"Wait, wait, please." The nightclub owner screamed like a pig being slaughtered and hugged Ma Xidao's half-raised arm.

Ma Xidao looked at him coldly, then slowly sat back in his original position, "Then continue talking?"

"He was with a guy called Guangzhi. They were both Koreans in Japan. They had been selling that kind of drug in our area since last year.

I let them in because they were so generous. We really don’t sell drugs in our nightclub. This is the truth. I swear! By the way, I know there is a high-end bar that also sells this. The owner’s last name is Zheng.”

The nightclub owner was so scared that tears and snot bubbles came out, and he pulled Ma Xidao's sleeve and cried and begged.

He doesn't sell drugs but knows so much about it. No fool would believe this. But now is not the time to worry about this. Ma Xidao continued to ask, "Where is that kid now?"

"He is either in Gangnam or Incheon. I don't know his exact whereabouts, but I have his cellphone number in my phone." The nightclub owner looked at Ma Xi eagerly, and only sat back in his chair after he nodded slightly as if he had been pardoned.

Ma Xidao put away the notebook and put it in his pocket, then stood up and waved to the nightclub owner, "OK, take him away, and contact the telecommunications company to find Guangzhi's whereabouts. I'll take care of the bar in Seoul, who will go to Incheon?"

Captain Zhang Taizhu had no sense of being a leader. He let Ma Xidao finish his arrangements and immediately volunteered, "I will take them to Incheon. You and the FBI can handle it here."

"Are you sure?" Ma Xidao looked at his captain who had always been a lazy fish with some surprise, and then looked at Jack, "OK, let's do it this way."
