Chapter 242 Goodbye Popo

Chapter 242 Goodbye Popo
Shengguang Temple started in the Western Zhou Dynasty and was built in the Northern Wei Dynasty.

Don’t rush to scold people. The reason why we talk about the Western Zhou Dynasty instead of last week is because according to the county annals and folklore, this place was first built by King Wu of Zhou for his son King Wu. The Shiwang Village at the foot was originally named Wuwang Village.

The temple stands on Meiwu Ridge, with the Zhongnan Mountains in the south and the Weishui River in the north. The building is magnificent, solemn and solemn, with green pines and cypresses, complete halls, a forest of steles, bells in the morning and drums in the evening, and cigarettes.

In 386 A.D., there were thirteen emperors successively in power in eight countries in China.

At this time, Zen Master Shengguang settled here and built a palace. Then he brought the Moyu Amitabha statue from the Western Regions, and talked with the wandering Zen Master Bodhidharma. After his death, his disciples named the temple Shengguang Temple.

Apart from the lack of convenience in Chang'an City, Shengguang Temple is considered a big temple, and it didn't treat too badly Zen masters Bopo and Xuanmo who moved from Daxingshan Temple.

It is impossible for the master of the temple to give it, and Duvina, who is in charge of Gangji, is not very convenient. Only one of the lords can give it to Zen Master Popo.

Zen Master Popo, who had experienced ups and downs, did not even take the seat. He only asked for a hut to live in and a bowl of vegetarian food to feed his hunger. He still worked tirelessly on translating the last three volumes of "Great Adornment".

Shengguang Temple was afraid that Bopo would be dissatisfied, but he didn't expect that Bopo was only obsessed with translating scriptures.

In this case, the treatment can be relaxed.

The hut is spacious, complete with tables and chairs, pens, inks, papers and inkstones, and Xuan Mo, Popo's disciple, can take care of him from time to time, so he doesn't have to do homework often.

No one expected that Popo, who hardly ever went out, was also visited by people, and he was still an official in green robes.

"I live in Shengguang Temple, and the layman was the first one to visit me." Bo Po's thin face showed a trace of comfort.

"The Zen master is an old friend, if it is not convenient, Fan Zheng will not bother you." Fan Zheng smiled helplessly.

Bopo smiled wryly: "My old man has already smelled blood and blood from you, and it really doesn't match Shengguang Temple."

Fan Zheng didn't need to have profound insights, Fan Zheng just ate this bowl of rice, and he was already very professional without dipping the steamed cakes in human blood.

Fan Zheng laughed and said, "Fortunately, although blood is unavoidable on the hands, people have a clear conscience. Huh? Fried tea?"

Zen Master Xuanmo, who was brewing tea, smiled: "The poor monk picked the wild tea from the back eaves. It is rare to cook Tuancha again. I simply fried it. The mouth of the pan is too shallow, so I can't fry much at one time."

Bo Po said: "I really like the fragrance of this roasted tea, but Xuan Mo hasn't mastered the heat well, so it's inevitable that it will be a little bit burnt. Amitabha, monks should not be greedy for food and drink, it is a sin."

In fact, although fried tea flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it had begun to emerge in the Tang Dynasty, but it was not mainstream, as evidenced by poems.

"There are several clusters of tea on the back eaves of mountain monks, and spring comes to pick out new antlers from bamboos. It's like shaking clothes for guests, and picks eagles from the fragrant bushes. The mustards are fried to fill the room with fragrance, and then pour golden sand water. The sound of pine trees in the shower Entering the cauldron, white clouds hover over the bowl of flowers..."

[Tang·Liu Yuxi "Xishan Lanruo Trying Tea Song"]

Bopo drank a bowl of tea, with a slight smile in his eyes: "The layman who came here should have a predestined relationship with my Buddha."

Fan Zheng laughed and said, "The yuan of Kaiyuan Tongbao, and the fate of Nie Yuan."

Bo Po breathed out lightly: "Xuan Mo, go and invite the temple master here."

The evil fate is the real evil, Fan Zheng's trip was accompanied by Youlang Youlang of Youwu Wei Yifu, who led a group of Yiwei, Xianyu Kuangji, to lightly capture the Yamen of Hu County, and captured the county Wei You Wenzhi.

According to common sense, you don't need to go out to a regiment to win a ninth-rank county lieutenant, but who let the secret report received by the court reveal the news that You Wenzhi colluded with the Maitreya Sect?
Ninety percent of civilians who joined the Maitreya religion may have traveled three thousand miles, and it is almost unreasonable for officials to be involved in the Maitreya religion.

No emperor could tolerate the extreme murderous doctrine of Maitreya.

The master of the temple, Ming Fan, saluted: "Amitabha, the poor monk Ming Fan, I have seen Hua Rong Jianguo County male, serving the censor."

Xuan Mo was a little surprised, it's only been a few years since he saw each other, and the original Xiaofangzheng has been knighted!

There is really an illusion of "one day in the mountains, thousands of years in the world".

Fan Zheng accepted this gift, and then returned the gift with crossed hands: "I came to Shengguang Temple in person, one for visiting friends, and the other for official business. The monk Yuanzhen of your temple is uncle You Wenzhi, the criminal official, and his accomplice. Take Xu Suo back to Chang'an, hope the Temple Master will make it easier for you."

Ming Fan's mouth twitched.

Hehe, the three hundred Youwei Yiwei with real knives and guns is in front of the temple gate, can it be convenient?

Don't think that there are Dharma guardian monks in the temple, so you can have nothing to fear. Believe it or not, Yiwei counts one as ten?

To deal with stragglers with lax military discipline and bandits who go around begging for a living, monks are still effective, but they are obviously not enough to deal with the proud soldiers who have been battle-tested in the Tang Dynasty.

"Amitabha, Yuanzhen is already an outsider, so she shouldn't touch the law again?" Duvina of Shengguang Temple rushed over to defend Yuanzhen.

It's not selfish, the main reason is that the monks in the monastery were captured by the imperial soldiers, it has a bad reputation!
Fan Zheng continued his tea and took a sip slowly: "If Shengguang Temple intends to protect the Maitreya Sect, I have nothing to say."

Ming Fan waved his hand hastily: "No, please wait a moment, servant censor, the poor monk will go get someone himself!"

The name of the Maitreya Sect is like an unwashed bastard at this time, and whoever is stained with it will stink.
-
Chang'an, Yushitai.

Li Qianyou, the official censor, drove Zhen Xing and the others out of the public house, and said to Fan Zheng: "The matter of Maitreya's teaching is not going to end well, and it is estimated that many people will die. You can avoid it."

Fan Zheng smiled wryly: "If you want to say that in Yushitai, Maitreya Sect is unavoidable, only Xiaguan and Li Yifu are the only ones."

Li Qianyou was stunned for a moment, and then remembered Yu Chunren, the former governor of Bizhou.

"Since that's the case, let's go to trial, and beware of people from the Liu family." Li Qianyou pointed out.

In the first year of Zhenguan, Li Xiaochang, the king of Yi'an, and Liu Deyu, the general of Youwuwei, rebelled and executed;

Liu Wenjing pursues the official title, and her sons Liu Shuyi and Liu Shuyi resent Aye's unjust murder by Gaozu, rebellion, and execution.

Cases that seem to be irrelevant, actually have something in common.

They are all surnamed Liu, and their crimes are relatively vague. The amazing thing is that Wei Zheng and others have not tried their best to persuade them.

The injustice is definitely not injustice, but because of some special reasons, the handling is more severe.

In the second year of Yongping in the Northern Wei Dynasty (509), Liu Huiwang, a monk in Jingzhou, gathered a crowd to rebel;
In the third year of Yongping in the Northern Wei Dynasty (510), Liu Guangxiu, a monk in Qinzhou, rebelled;

In the third year of Yanchang in the Northern Wei Dynasty (514), Liu Sengshao, a monk in Youzhou, gathered people to rebel;
In the fourth year of Yanchang in the Northern Wei Dynasty (515), Salman Faqing in Jizhou gathered people to rebel;

In the first year of Xiping in the Northern Wei Dynasty (516), the rebellion incident of Liu Jinghui, the boy of Moonlight;

In the first year of Xiaochang in the Northern Wei Dynasty (525), Liu Lisheng, the leader of Jihu, was called the Son of Heaven in Yunyang Valley, and changed his name to Yuanshenjia, and he persisted until 535.

Notice something in common?

Buddhism doesn't ask about surnames, and Taoism doesn't ask about longevity.

Although most of them are monks, they still stick to the "Liu" surname.

No one can guarantee that their surname is really Liu, but at least it shows that the Liu family has a place in the wave of rebellion in the previous dynasties.

This can also explain why it was extremely difficult to beat Dou Jiande and Liu Heita.
