Homecoming from Hogwarts

Chapter 1206 Testing

There was some buzz among the small circle when Hermione won a small bottle of Luck Potion in Professor Slughorn's Potions class.

However, this was quickly replaced by more interesting topics.

Hogwarts once again opened a new course that had never been offered before, and this course was taught together by all young wizards in the third year and above instead of being taught individually.

So far, apart from the large classes taught by Gilderoy Lockhart and Professor Braine, no such situation has ever occurred.

In order to accommodate everyone's time, the school had to schedule it on Wednesday morning before breakfast.

This is nothing for students who have participated in physical education training. For a while, they have been accustomed to doing exercises every morning before dawn.

But for most students, leaving the warm and comfortable bed before dawn is undoubtedly a very painful thing.

The entrance hall, dyed golden by torches, was packed with drowsy students. More students came in from the stairs and basement.

Hermione and Ginny were snuggling together, whispering something, while Ron was kidnapped by his girlfriend. Harry, who was left alone, leaned against the notice board with notices posted on it, listening to Seamus and Dean's complaints boredly.

"What do you think this Professor Larsen wants us to do, Harry?"

Neville asked, yawning.

"Well--"

Harry, who had not been sleeping well, had his mind fluttering for a few seconds before going silent again.

"Meditation. I don't know, Neville, but Parvati thinks it's meditation. She said it's a popular thing in her hometown -"

"Yeah, I heard that, too--"

Neville spoke in a chatty tone.

"But meditation requires a quiet environment, right? We should go directly to a classroom instead of being called to stand stupidly in the hallway early in the morning."

“Perhaps, the school can’t find a classroom that can accommodate so many people.”

Harry said, but he knew that was nonsense, and if necessary, Professor Blaine or Professor Dumbledore could fit all the students in one classroom.

Neville shrugged and said nothing more.

Harry stared blankly at the four empty long tables in the Great Hall.

Just as he was looking forward to a cup of steaming pumpkin juice to warm himself up, he caught a glimpse of three boys walking side by side in the corridor on the left side of the auditorium.

It's Malfoy, Nott and Zabini.
For a moment, Harry's eyes were dazed and he suddenly wanted to laugh.

You know, before the physical education class started, Malfoy's 'best partners' were Crabbe and Goyle, two extremely stupid guys, but since Malfoy participated in the physical education class, the number of times these two people appeared around Malfoy decreased rapidly, and now, they are almost never seen playing together.

The crowded hallway made Draco frown slightly. He, Nott and Zabini did not rush into the crowd, but stood near the Slytherin table.

"Draco—"

In the corner where most of the Slytherin students were standing, Pansy Parkinson waved at Draco, shouted happily, and trotted towards him.

Draco Malfoy is dating Pansy Parkinson?

This thought flashed through Harry's mind subconsciously, and then he sneered in his heart.

However, as they entered senior year, there were indeed more people in love around them, Ron and Lavender being one example.

Harry subconsciously looked at the two girls cuddling together. However, before he could completely shift his gaze, what happened on Malfoy's side made Harry narrow his eyes.

Malfoy's face, which had originally been languid in the morning, immediately changed color when Pansy tried to put her arm around his left arm.

He aggressively undid Pansy's restraints and glared at her sternly.

Pansy, on the other hand, had an aggrieved expression on her face.

This is not the first time.

Malfoy seemed particularly nervous about his arm? But that hand didn't look injured!

The door that appeared in his dream and could never be opened and the image of Malfoy sneaking into Borgin and Burke's to buy magic-breaking props without telling his mother during the summer vacation jumped into Harry's mind again.

There is one possibility. The only possibility -
Harry looked at Ron, hesitated for a moment, and decided not to disturb Ron and Lavender who were sticking together for the time being.

He squeezed between Neville and Dean and came in front of Hermione and Ginny.

"What's wrong, Harry?"

As soon as Hermione saw Harry's face, she knew immediately what had happened.

Facing two pairs of curious eyes, Harry pondered.

"I need someone to do me a favor—"

"Oh, come on, Potter—"

Hermione rolled her eyes.
"When did you learn to beat around the bush?"

Harry's cheeks blushed as Ginny looked at him with a smile. He took a deep breath and pointed to the end of the Slytherin table where the Malfoys were chatting.

"Well, I think there's something wrong with Malfoy's left hand." "There's something wrong with his left hand?"

Hermione was as observant as ever. She stared at Harry suspiciously.

"What do you think Malfoy has hidden in his arm?"

It would be unwise to tell everything in such a crowded place. Harry shook his head slightly.

"I want to find out, so I need someone to help me test--"

"Testing?"

Hermione stared at Harry sharply.

"What are you going to do?"

How to do it?
Surely you can't use the Cutting Charm to remove the sleeve on Malfoy's left arm, right?
Harry thought for a few seconds.
"Just pretend to walk past Malfoy and touch his left arm -"

"Harry, if you are doubting--"

Hermione was about to question it, but Ginny agreed first.

"Just touch his arm. That sounds easy. I'll do it."

Harry didn't expect Ginny to agree to his request so readily. He looked at her with both emotion and gratitude.
"Oh, thank you, Ginny, just move Malfoy's arm, there's no need to take it off."

Ginny laughed, and her charming smile made Harry's heart skip a beat. He pretended to observe Malfoy and quickly looked away.

Hermione was obviously still hesitant about Harry's proactive provocation, but she did not object.

"coming."

The classmates around me suddenly stopped chattering and looked at the stairs leading to the second floor.

It was Professor Flomid Larhansen. He changed out of the beige linen clothes he had worn for the past two days and put on the same wizard robes as them.

It seemed that he himself was not able to adapt to this. Professor Lahansen walked down the stairs step by step with a reserved step and came to the young wizards.

"I'm here, guys--"

Professor Larsen smiled slightly, a gentle, elegant smile that made Harry feel that he looked a bit like Remus.

"Sorry for taking a few minutes. I was just discussing something in Professor Blaine's office."

Although the students were curious, no one was bold enough to ask about the content of the conversation between him and Professor Brain.

"Come on, guys, let's go to the woods--"

Fromide spoke to everyone in a friendly tone.

"To the Forbidden Forest!"

Hannah Abbott of Hufflepuff called out with a pale face.

"Yes, Miss Abbott—"

Professor Lahansen nodded and smiled, in front of everyone's surprised eyes,
"The meditation class will be held in the Forbidden Forest."

The crowd moving towards the forbidden forest seemed to have stopped because of some minor incident.

Amostas, standing in front of the office window on the third floor, calmly watched Frommid stop the dispute, and then led a group of students to the Forbidden Forest.

The ashes in the fireplace piled up into a small mountain. After a night of driving away the cold, only a few pieces of charcoal were still smoldering among the ashes.

The pale sky in the horizon struggled to climb over the hills, trying to permeate the wider airspace.

After watching the little wizards' backs disappear into the dark forest, Amosta withdrew his gaze and turned away silently.

His eyes fell on the contraband display cabinet next to the sofa.

The space has been expanded, but the cabinets are still filled at an unimaginable speed, which is enough to prove the spirit of resistance to authority of the young wizards of Hogwarts.

After staring in silence for a long time, Amosta walked over slowly.

His fingertips brushed the lock, and with a click, the cabinet door opened.

Among the dazzling array of exhibits, the grapevine staff exuded vitality. Amosta raised his hand and held the staff in his palm.

Amosta stared at the staff, stroking the slightly warm staff with his palm for a long time, feeling the majestic vitality under the dead vines.

After a long while, he stretched out his right index finger and lightly tapped the staff.

A light blue halo like water waves spread out, covering the entire staff, and the staff covered by the halo was also trembling slightly.

After about ten seconds, everything returned to calm, the light dissipated, and the staff lay quietly in Amosta's palm again.
