Homecoming from Hogwarts
Chapter 1290 The plan is in progress
As soon as Ron stepped out of the hall and out of the protection of the castle, he immediately felt a strong sense of discomfort.
Although Harry's invisibility cloak also has a certain rainproof function, unfortunately, it is not coldproof.
The biting north wind that pushed the whole world into a cold winter blew on my body, and it hurt like a knife cutting my flesh.
The blocked nasal cavity becomes even more blocked.
But Ron had no time to take care of himself. He looked at Malfoy and Parkinson, whose backs gradually became blurred as they walked into the mist and drizzle, and his expression became more and more astonished.
Judging from the direction the two men were heading, they seemed to be planning to go to the Black Lake.
Are you really going for a walk?
"Oh, must we be silly enough to follow him, Ronnie?"
Lavender muttered.
Harry's Invisibility Cloak is a very interesting thing, but Lavender would rather wear it and find a warm, comfortable and hidden place in the castle to make out with Ron for a day, rather than play some childish stalking game on the campus in the cold wind and drizzling rain!
Ron bit his lip.
In theory, his mission was simply to find evidence that Malfoy and Parkinson were trying to open Professor Blaine's office.
Other than that, he didn't need to care about anything stupid Malfoy did.
So, just continue to stay in the auditorium and wait.
But watching the two people walking away in the misty rain, Ron frowned.
"No, I want to go see what Malfoy is up to."
After a hesitation, Ron said,
"You don't have to come along, Lavender. You can wait for me in the castle."
In the end, the two of them set off together.
Unlike the first and second grade, when the invisibility cloak was more than enough to cover the three of them, as the three of them entered a rapid growth mode, the invisibility cloak is now only enough to barely fit the two of them.
Fortunately, the bad weather gave Ron and Lavender some cover, and as they ran, their flying invisibility cloaks revealed no part of their bodies so no one could see them.
Soon, they caught up with Malfoy and Parkinson by the lake.
"Are you really here for a walk?"
Looking at Malfoy and Parkinson walking hand in hand along the lake in the mist and rain, twenty or thirty feet ahead, Ron felt that his worldview had been challenged.
The level of the Black Lake was adjacent to the river bank. Driven by the howling evil wind, it had overflowed the river bank and the river water submerged the roots of a row of weeping willows.
Ron avoided the freezing lake water and kept shaking his head.
"Malfoy must be crazy!"
But now, Lavender was a little crazy.
"Oh, this suddenly strikes me as quite amusing, Ronnie,"
Lavender, under the Invisibility Cloak, tied one of Ron's arms and said with a smile,
“Very romantic!”
"romantic?"
Ron glanced at Lavender.
"I think you're crazy too."
Now that it was certain that Malfoy was just having a sudden brain cramp and had no conspiracy, Ron wanted to go back to the castle, but this time, Lavender didn't want to, and she begged Ron to continue walking with her by the lake.
So, the two couples walked slowly along the lake.
The edge of the Forbidden Forest was just ahead, and half a mile away, warm smoke was rising from the chimney of Hagrid's hut.
When the road ahead was blocked by the Forbidden Forest, Draco and Parkinson left the lake and continued walking along the border between the Forbidden Forest and the campus.
Ron had caught a cold last night and had been exposed to the cold wind for half a day. He already felt a little dazed. He was sure that he had a fever.
"Malfoy better actually be planning on doing something sneaky, or I'll throw you into the Black Lake when you come back, Harry!"
Ron muttered quietly, shaking his head to cheer himself up and make his vision clearer.
"Hey, Ronnie, look--"
At this moment, Lavender exclaimed softly.
"what?"
Ron, who had just shaken his head, lost his vision for a moment. When he looked forward again, Malfoy and Parkinson disappeared from his sight.
"Forbidden Forest, they went to the Forbidden Forest. Are they going to visit Professor Lahansen?"
Lavender said a little startled that she also felt something was wrong.
Walking in the rain is understandable, but going to the forbidden forest in this weather is something that needs to be explained.
"I don't think so. Malfoy doesn't have much of a relationship with Professor Larsen." Ron took two quick breaths, his keen intuition quickly revived.
"Come on, Lavender, I have a feeling we're about to discover something!"
Walking through the wet weeds, Ron and Lavender entered the forbidden forest from the place where the two Slytherins had just entered.
Just one step away, and the world suddenly becomes dark.
It was rainy and the visibility in the forest was extremely poor.
Twenty or thirty feet away, the area was just a blurry shadow, with vines and bushes growing wildly under the shade of towering trees.
To make matters worse, after a while of rain, the land at the edge of the Forbidden Forest became muddy, and Ron and Lavender were forced to slow down to avoid getting their boots stuck in the mud.
This has absolutely nothing to do with sentiment.
Ron thought to himself as he struggled forward.
Malfoy must have some important secret hidden in the Forbidden Forest, which is why he is so cautious and is beating around the bush, but -
"Strange, where did they go?"
Lavender spoke at the right time and asked Ron's question.
Looking around, all I could see were swaying tree shadows and swaying bushes, it was eerie and scary!
However, Malfoy and Parkinson are no longer to be seen!
"Ronnie, are we..."
Lavender's voice trembled as she called out softly; the treacherous forest frightened her.
"Don't worry, Lavender—"
The rumbling sound of the wind turned into the wailing of a female ghost after entering the dense forest. Ron's heart was in turmoil. He looked around as hard as he could, but still could not see any sign of anyone.
“Oh, I got it!”
Ron suddenly thought of something and quickly bent down and looked at the muddy ground under his feet.
He could follow the footprints left by Malfoy and Parkinson to find them!
After admiring his own cleverness, Ron opened his eyes wide and tried to search. After a quick glance, Ron suddenly felt cold all over!
There were indeed footprints left by someone walking on the ground, but they suddenly disappeared less than two feet in front of him!
and so!
Whoosh, whoosh, bang!
The shrill red light was as brilliant as the tail of a meteor, and when the light disappeared, two figures fell down.
"whee."
Amid the dense sound of drizzle hitting the leaves, a light laugh sounded.
"They are completely led by you."
"Humph, I expected that he would be just as stupid as Potter, which makes me sad!"
Next, there was a rustling noise in the woods.
"Should we take this invisibility cloak? Maybe it can help us?"
"No, we don't need to cover them. Hagrid and Larhansen are not far from here. I don't want them to be discovered too early!"
There was another strange noise.
"This smells... oh, I'm going to throw up, it makes me sick."
"Don't talk nonsense, we don't have that much time."
Half an hour later, in the Gryffindor common room.
For a second-year student, the restoration spell is not a very advanced spell.
However, using it to repair a broken chandelier, damaged murals, a chipped chest of drawers, and a sofa with cotton coming out of it was still a challenge for a group of second-year students with not very sophisticated skills.
After much effort, and under the teasing gazes of his classmates and third-year seniors, Chazelle finally got everything in the lounge in order.
The few people who had learned their lesson were leaning on the sofa that they had just repaired and taking a short breath.
"What are you going to do, Chazelle?"
A little boy with smooth black hair looked at Chazelle.
"Are you just going to let your flying saucer be confiscated?"
"No, Pluto—"
Chazelle straightened his pimpled nose and leaned back on the sofa, looking lazy.
"I've heard about the reputation of that Weasley prefect. He's not a very conventional person. I plan to go and beg him again today. Oh, if that doesn't work -"
Chazelle shrugged fearlessly.
"I'll just visit Filch's office again."
The people around Chazelle, including Pluto who had just asked the question, were about to smile knowingly, but the portrait of the Fat Lady was opened at the right time, and the senior male and female wizards who walked in with a cold look and a hint of disgust froze their smiles!
