Homecoming from Hogwarts
Chapter 1295: The beginning of the grand ending
On the way back, although Professor Brian did not forbid the young wizards from talking, everyone remained unusually quiet.
When I left Avalon Prison again, the prisoners who were out working were still working under the setting sun.
They crossed the wilderness again and boarded the large oak ship that was waiting there.
After sailing on the sparkling lake for an hour, we returned to the city where we first came.
"Please fill in and sign this confidentiality agreement. The magic in the agreement will restrict your behavior and prevent you from revealing anything about Avalon to others--"
The strike leader who had examined them earlier distributed their confiscated wands one by one and asked them to sign on a piece of parchment.
Harry thought this was totally unnecessary.
Having witnessed a life disappear before his eyes like a gust of wind, Harry had no interest in sharing anything with others.
"Professor Blaine—"
But some people feel differently.
Theodore raised his hands and looked at Professor Brain pleadingly.
"Will we ever get a chance to visit Avalon Prison again?"
"Study-seeking activities will become a tradition in Hogwarts and will be preserved in more diverse forms. My plan is that the school will select some places every year and several deans will lead you to visit them—"
Amosta said amiably,
"So, there is a chance, Mr. Nott—"
While feeling relieved, Theodore also looked melancholy.
That meant he only had two more chances to visit Avalon Prison, and his father, who was convicted of Death Eater terrorist activities, would be imprisoned in Avalon for at least thirteen years before he would be allowed parole.
Amosta saw Theodore's sadness, thought for a moment, and then continued to say to Theodore,
"As you all know, the wizarding world is in turmoil right now. When everything is calmer, the Ministry of Magic may consider allowing family visits—"
Theodore was stunned for a few seconds, and then nodded heavily.
This was already an unexpected surprise, he couldn't invite more.
"Can I ask you one more question, Professor?"
The Weasley twins were stronger in psychological endurance than anyone else. Judging from their expressions, they had gotten rid of the shadow of death that had come to the students.
Fred pointed to the towering oak tree in the distance and asked with a little awe,
"here."
Fred pointed down.
"Is this the real Avalon, Professor?"
"Not really, Fred—"
Professor Brain said with a smile. He saw the twins looked a little disappointed.
"Don't feel sorry, you two. The real island of Avalon is many times more terrifying than Azkaban prison."
After saying that, Amosta did not explain anything to the confused little wizards. He raised the tip of his staff and released a flowing golden barrier again, wrapping up the little wizards.
"Have you two noticed—"
Harry heard Ginny say to Fred and George,
"Professor Blaine always calls you by your names accurately. He is the only professor who won't confuse you two—"
It seems to be the case.
Harry was marveling at this little discovery when the world before him, as gentle as the breeze, suddenly disappeared from his sight.
It was like being stuffed into a washing machine. After being rolled violently for several seconds, the whistling sound in my ears suddenly disappeared.
Snapped!
The world froze in place, and the dizzy little wizards staggered and fell in front of the castle, under the marble stairs, and in the muddy ground.
hiss.
Before Harry had time to complain about his robe being soaked by mud and water, the cold wind made him gasp for air several times.
"Oh, why don't we just show up inside the castle."
Harry shook out his wet robes, shivering and muttering to himself.
However, this question was answered later.
It was now time for dinner. In the auditorium, young wizards from the lower grades and members of the study group were already sitting sparsely in the rare empty auditorium to eat.
However, as soon as he entered the Great Hall, Harry threw his wet robe aside, looking a little suspicious.
He looked towards the Slytherin table.
Malfoy and Parkinson were sitting in their usual seats, leisurely enjoying their dinner, which was not a big deal, but Harry turned his eyes to the Gryffindor table.
Ron and Lavender were not at the table, and in a blink of an eye he ruled out the possibility that Ron was crouching in a corner, using his Invisibility Cloak to watch Malfoy.
This is not necessary. In the Great Hall, he can monitor Malfoy's every move openly, right?
A bad feeling emerged from Harry's heart, making his expression more solemn.
Did anything happen while he was away?!
Or maybe Ron and Lavender were so busy with their date that they forgot what he and Hermione had told them to do.
Their sudden appearance in the school also surprised the people in the auditorium. After all, as everyone knew, Apparition was not allowed in the school.
Moreover, they fell into the mud, looking so miserable that the younger wizards laughed at them.
Most of the people headed for the stairs in the entrance hall, ready to go upstairs and change out of their cold, wet clothes first, and Harry was ready to do the same.
Since Ron and Lavender were not in the Great Hall, the most likely possibility was that they were in the Gryffindor common room.
He glanced sideways at Hermione and his heart skipped a beat again.
Hermione's face showed the same worried expression as his, but she was not looking at the Gryffindor table. Instead, she kept staring at the platform on the second floor.
"What's wrong, Hermione?"
Harry kept asking.
"Professor Brain is fine, Harry—"
The professors at the staff table sat neatly again, and pointed with interest at the noisy little wizards in the hallway.
Professor Dumbledore was the wizard sitting in the middle, smiling and saying something to Professor McGonagall, who was pursing her lips slightly.
At the study group's dining table, Luo Ya and some others were waving their arms excitedly at them, seeming eager to talk to them.
"Let's go to the common room to find Ron first--"
Hermione also saw through what he saw. She pointed at her muddy robe and gave Luoya and the others an apologetic smile.
"Ron He"
"Find him first, Harry—"
The spiral staircase was filled with students going upstairs for rest, and Hermione gently interrupted Harry's questioning.
They trotted upstairs with the crowd and were crowded in the corridor in front of the Gryffindor common room for a while. The Fat Lady, who was enjoying a small piece of raisin cake in her own frame, glared at the noisy students with an impatient look on her face.
Harry and Hermione waited in line for about ten minutes before they finally squeezed into the common room.
At a glance, Harry and Hermione frowned at the same time.
The students who entered the common room at this moment couldn't wait to rush to the dormitory from the stairs on both sides to change clothes. They casually spread out on the sofas in the circular common room, including the sofa in front of the fireplace with a small fire. They often sat on the sofa. Ron and Lavender were nowhere to be seen.
As he looked into Hermione's eyes, the ominous feeling in Harry's heart grew stronger.
"Do you think"
Harry was about to ask Hermione's opinion -
"Harry!"
After a few bangs on the stairs in the boys' dormitory, a frightened call attracted Harry and Hermione's attention.
There were Neville, Seamus and Dean. They seemed to have seen something unbelievable, and they stared at Harry in shock.
It was Neville who called him.
Facing Harry's confused gaze, Neville pointed at the stairs with one hand, panting slightly.
"You'd better come up."
"Hermione!"
A call with almost the same tone also came from the girls' dormitory. Hermione's roommate, Parvati, had a similar expression on her face as Neville and the others, and jumped down the stairs in panic!
"I don't know who did it, Hermione!"
Parvati, still in shock, also pointed at the stairs.
"But it looks like someone went through your stuff!"
Someone went through Hermione's things.
Neville was shocked and shuddered. He spoke quickly.
"Same thing on your end, Harry!" (End of chapter)
