Homecoming from Hogwarts
Chapter 1303 Everything is good
Amosta stood in front of Tonks's parents' house, which was also the house where Remus and Tonks would live, and looked around.
Most of the plants in the garden to the right of the house had withered due to the season, except for a few unpruned fluttering shrubs that remained green as usual.
In the shed to the right of the house are some farm machinery that would have belonged to Tonks's Muggle-born father, Ted Tonks.
In addition, the broom shed is also located in the shed.
Remus and Tonks were ready.
A huge white tent with tasseled lace had been set up in the large field in front of the house.
Beautiful flower baskets were placed beside each of the metal poles holding up the tent, and the poles themselves were entwined with gold and white flowers.
In the tent, a long purple carpet was laid all the way to the entrance of the house, and a seating chart had been posted behind rows of exquisite and slender golden chairs.
Amosta walked past the tent with strings of golden balloons tied to the top and slowly approached the house.
From the old house bathed in bright lights, laughter as clear as silver bells rang out.
A smile also appeared on Amosta's lips. He walked over and knocked on the door.
Du, du, du—
The laughter in the room suddenly died down, and Amosita heard hurried footsteps and the sound of chairs being knocked over, and at least seven or eight wands were pointed at him.
"who is it!"
Even through the door, Amos could feel Remus' determination to die, which made him laugh.
"It's not Voldemort after all--"
Amosta said,
"When he comes to visit, he probably won't knock on the door."
After a few seconds of silence, hurried footsteps were heard behind the door, and the door was opened forcefully, revealing Remus' surprised face.
"Amosta!"
Just by the strange ripples that always arose in his heart when he gazed into Amosta's lavender eyes, Remus immediately confirmed that this was not a fake, and, moreover, Amosta was holding the note written by him in his hand!
"I didn't expect you to come early, Amosta!"
Remus opened the door completely and hugged Amosta, the smile on his face making him look ten years younger.
"The guests haven't arrived yet. I thought you would come with Sirius and Alastor. I mean, the preparatory meeting of the International Confederation of Wizards, they are responsible for protecting Minister Bones--"
"Hope will take care of everything—"
Amosta said with a smile,
"After all, this is the first wedding I've ever attended. I thought I should be more cautious, so I came early—"
Remus welcomed Amosta into the house.
Remus said the guests weren't here yet, but there were still a lot of people in the house.
In addition to Tonks and his parents, Amelia was also here.
His aunt, who was a few years younger than him, was wearing a light blue off-shoulder dress with silk gauze and high heels embellished with diamonds.
She seemed to be here as a bridesmaid, with a look as outstanding as his.
And she is also one of the two most eye-catching girls in the house.
The other one is Fleur Delacour.
Amosta, whose eyes fell on Furong, was in a trance for a moment.
Needless to say, Furong's appearance was stunning, but what surprised Amosta was the clothes Furong was wearing.
It was a very beautiful white silk dress, exquisitely cut to show elegance, nobility and holiness, and this dress -
It was the same one Fleur had worn to the Yule Ball last year.
The moment their eyes met, Amosta keenly caught the sly smile that flashed across Furong's blue eyes and the smugness that appeared on her lips.
She also saw the hint of surprise in Amosta's eyes.
Both of them knew that the dress was bought by Amosta.
Then
Percy and his girlfriend Clearwater were also here, followed by Mrs. Weasley and Bill Weasley, who was standing with his hands in his pockets and looking very relaxed.
But Charlie was not there. He must be still in Romania studying fire dragons and hadn't had time to come back.
Amosta finally looked at the bride of tomorrow's wedding, Tonks, with whom he had a personal relationship during his years at Hogwarts. Tonks, who had given herself bright pink hair, was dressed the most plainly among the girls in the room.
She just wore a loose-fitting Maillard-colored wool sweater and a pair of casual jeans.
However, no one could ignore the happy smile on her face.
Everyone was surprised by the appearance of Amosta, and Percy seemed to want to rush up and hug Amosta, but was stopped by Penelope.
"What did I interrupt?"
Amosta asked with a smile.
"We are rehearsing for our wedding tomorrow."
Remus touched his hair, looking somewhat embarrassed and helpless.
"But I couldn't convince Tonks to wear a wedding dress—"
"Oh, that's not my style, Remus."
Tonks tilted her head, with a mischievous smile. She blinked at Amosta and suddenly clapped her hands.
"Oh, you're just in time, Amosta, we're still short of a best man for our rehearsal!"
Remus was stunned for two seconds, then his expression became happy.
"Yes, that's it!"
He turned around and looked happily at Amosta who frowned.
"Perhaps you should assume your responsibilities as a godfather in advance, Amosta!"
"That's a good idea!"
Everyone in the room seemed to have reached a consensus at once. Amelia trotted over and grabbed Amosta's arm without saying a word. Before this, she lacked the courage to do so.
Even though they tried their best to put on a dignified face, Amelia and Tonks pushed him into the bedroom.
"I think you should cheer me up, don't you, Amosta?"
Tonks said with a grin,
"After all, I was in detention with Severus with you!"
Amosta resisted the urge to roll his eyes and pursed his lips.
"Mom and Dad are always asking me if you have a girlfriend, Amosta--"
Amelia said,
"I can ask Furong to take a picture with you and send it to them. Mom and Dad will be very happy to see it!"
"So, you and Furong are good friends now?"
Amosta smiled gently and shook his head, took out his wand and pointed it at his coat. A ripple spread out, and the navy blue suit in the suitcase was put on him.
"Didn't I write to you?"
Amelia pretended to be surprised, then she laughed and looked at Tonks.
"We need to do something with his hair, Tonks."
So, Tonks pressed Amosta in front of the dressing mirror, and the two girls began to fiddle with his naturally soft gray hair, making it stand up.
But judging from the results, it’s still pretty good.
"I heard Remus sent you to Asia?"
When Amosta really raised his arm elegantly and let Furong hold it, Furong, who was usually unrestrained, became a little shy.
She did not play with her hair as "heroically" as before, but instead used her fingers to gently lift up the hair that was scattered on her temples, which was shining under the light, and nodded.
"Remus asked us to go there to develop the market--"
"How's it going there?"
Amosta showed some interest and asked curiously,
"Oh, well, the wizarding world over there is more closed than many countries in Europe, but the Muggle world is very vibrant—"
Furong twisted her hair with one finger and said thoughtfully,
"Generally speaking, the girls there are more shy. I was thinking, maybe you like this style, like that Vitia Kleona?" (End of this chapter)
