Homecoming from Hogwarts
Chapter 1316 The Truth That Surfaced
After a light rain, Hogwarts bid farewell to the bleak late autumn and officially entered the bitter cold winter.
The thin moonlight filled with red leapt over the mountains and hung on the branches of the Whomping Willow, illuminating the frozen land, but it could not dissolve the darkness covering the mountains and valleys in the slightest.
The light and heat emitted by the castle standing high on the cliff like a torch can only warm itself.
Even though it is not a holiday, Friday dinners are always more lively than at other times.
While enjoying the sumptuous meal, the young wizards and faculty members happily exchanged their opinions on how to spend the weekend.
At the Gryffindor table, Hermione turned her eyes away from the large book spread out on her knees, raised one hand, and gently rubbed her sore brow.
To be honest, since the beginning of this year, she has clearly felt the scarcity of time.
First of all, not to mention that after entering the fifth grade, every young wizard has to face the important OWLS level examination. Her duties as a prefect require her to contribute to maintaining order in Hogwarts.
Not to mention, Professor Brian, who was used to being a hands-off boss, almost handed over all the affairs related to the "Association for the Promotion of the Rights of Intelligent Magical Creatures", that is, the exchange group, to her.
The combination of these tasks made her several times more tired than other little wizards.
So, when Hermione found that Harry, who was sitting next to her, was neither eating dinner properly nor studying hard during dinner like she did, but was staring gloomily at the Slytherin table on the other side of the Great Hall, her tone of consolation was inevitably a little impatient.
"You can starve yourself to death and blind yourself, Harry, and you can't send Malfoy to Avalon Prison or drive him out of Hogwarts!"
"What.Oh!"
Harry came back to his senses, caught a glimpse of Hermione's expressionless face, and shuddered, retracting his gaze.
Picking up a cup of hot pumpkin juice, Harry sipped it casually, but his eyes tilted towards the faculty table.
Professor Brain, who had already left school, naturally couldn't come back so soon, but apart from him, Hagrid's seat was also vacant.
"Where's Hagrid?"
Harry frowned and asked.
He just asked casually and didn't expect Hermione to give him an answer, but surprisingly, Hermione actually knew.
"There's a full moon tonight, Harry—"
Hermione said softly.
Harry was stunned, turned his head and looked at the dark world outside the castle.
A flickering oil lamp left Hagrid's hut and wandered along the border of the Forbidden Forest. After a distance, the oil lamp stopped for a while and then disappeared.
Harry raised his eyebrows and looked away.
After more than a decade of silence, the Screaming Shack is once again in action.
"It's almost time, Hermione, Ginny, let's go--"
Luna left the Ravenclaw table, walked briskly around the back of the hall, and said to Hermione with a pleasant smile.
Ginny, who was sitting a few seats away from Harry, stood up immediately, and Hermione hurriedly put away the pen, ink, paper and inkstone on her knees.
"What are you going to do?"
Ron, who was describing to Colin in an exaggerated way what happened on the day of the study tour, immediately turned his gaze and looked at Hermione curiously.
"We plan to go to the library to organize the exchange results between us and the exchange group during this period, and then go to give Luoya and the others extra lessons—"
The one who answered this question was Luna. She tilted her head, still with a strange smile on her lips, and said to Ron,
"Want to come along, Ron?"
"Oh, I guess I won't—"
Ron immediately drew his head back.
Harry had no intention of joining in the fun, but--
Looking at Hermione who was busy stuffing books into her bag, Harry hesitated for a moment, but finally decided to keep quiet.
Judging from Hermione's attitude just now, if he dared to suggest that he wanted to stay with Malfoy in the Great Hall tonight, Hermione would be furious.
"I have things to do, too, Harry—"
After the dinner, Ron shrugged and said, looking somewhat helpless.
"I have to patrol the castle."
After the initial excitement of becoming a prefect, it had become a boring chore for Ron. "Well -"
Harry nodded. He wanted to ask Ron to pay more attention to the movements in the castle to see if Malfoy would leave the Slytherin common room.
But when he thought about how Ron and his girlfriend were both admitted to the school hospital a few days ago because of this incident, he shut up.
If Ron gets hurt again because of this, he will be deeply sinful.
The Gryffindor common room tonight was much the same as any other night.
In order to have a pleasant weekend, most of the young wizards were busy doing their homework in the common room.
So does Harry.
A chaotic mind is not suitable for dealing with some courses that require the use of the brain.
Harry took out the homework paper assigned by Professor Trelawney from his schoolbag, and while thinking about it, he wrote on the parchment how he would die next month.
After more than two years of making up stories, hanging, falling to death, and unknown encounters were no longer enough to entertain Professor Trelawney, and he needed something special.

How about being killed in a duel?
Professor Trelawney would no doubt enjoy it, and might even praise his courage.
So, what curse did he die under? The killing curse?
Oh, no. This is a joke!
Harry thought with his chin up. The nearby fireplace radiated hot spring-like warmth into the common room, which made him a little drowsy.
The hand of the wall clock had passed nine o'clock. As the night deepened, the little wizard in the lounge became more active.
Neville was demonstrating sword skills with his wand, and his heroic movements drew cheers from Seamus and Dean.
Fred and George, arm in arm, slipped out of the common room quietly on their broomsticks.
They are used to acting at night.
"I don't remember promising you—"
Harry, who was dozing off, suddenly heard Ron's voice beside him. He started and woke up from his sleep.
It was indeed Ron. He must have just returned from night patrol and hadn't had time to wake him up.
In front of Ron was a little boy who looked to be in the first or second grade. There were several red pimples on his face. He was explaining something to Ron.
"what happened?"
Harry yawned and rubbed his sleepy eyes.
During this period, Professor Braine's lost staff and the question of whether Sirius, the Remus family's secret keeper, would be targeted by Voldemort had been bothering him and making him lose his appetite.
"This little fellow—"
Ron stared at the little boy in front of him, anger surging between his brows.
"He was playing with a Spike Frisbee in the common room before and I confiscated it. He wanted it back, but I had already given it to Filch!"
"But--"
Chazelle bit his lip and looked at Ron aggrievedly.
"You promised me later that you would return it to me, didn't you?"
"Oh, nonsense!"
Ron glared at the little boy angrily.
"When did I promise you that I would return the flying saucer to you? Listen, kid, I emphasize again that I have handed the flying saucer to Filch. If you want to make trouble, I will tell Professor McGonagall about it and let her put you in detention. Do you understand?"
After listening to a few words, Harry curled his lips and asked casually,
"When did this happen?"
"It's right there when you go on the study tour to Avalon Prison!"
Ron's eyes suddenly widened, and he looked at Harry blankly, and what he saw was the same stiff face!
