Homecoming from Hogwarts
Chapter 1324 Dust falls to the ground
"Why are you here?"
Malfoy stood in the middle of a huge room filled with shelves, looking in horror at a group of young wizards like him walking in one after another.
"Are you here to chase me?"
Malfoy took a few steps back, his voice trembling at the sight of the gloomy faces under the fluorescent light.
At this point, Harry no longer wanted to say anything to Malfoy.
Malfoy has decided to join Voldemort's army, and being expelled from Hogwarts is his inevitable fate.
After tonight, if the two had a chance to meet again, it might be in Avalon Prison. Malfoy was wielding a hoe in the field, while he stood on the ridge, looking responsibly at this 'old friend' who had been entangled with him for many years in Hogwarts.
"Where's Sirius?"
Harry asked quietly.
Although Elune had helped him a lot tonight, Harry was unwilling to believe her judgment.
"What. Who?"
Malfoy asked subconsciously, his face full of confusion, which didn't seem fake, and Harry's heart skipped a beat.
Something is wrong!
Hermione looked around, taking in the dim, church-like room, and the gray shelves filled with tiny glass balls. In the reflection of the glass balls, she saw uncontrollable fear on her face.
There was one thing she approved of Harry.
A lot of what happened tonight was planned.
This seemingly peaceful room is a trap, but the trap has not been triggered yet.
"Forget Malfoy, Harry, I think we'd better get out of here!"
Hermione glanced at Malfoy and then looked away, whispering anxiously in Harry's ear.
"No Malfoy is lying, I'm going to go check it out."
Harry murmured somewhat absentmindedly, trying his best to suppress the guilt that was beginning to well up in his heart.
Harry staggered forward, Ron and the others followed behind him, and Malfoy thought that Harry and the others were chasing him.
For the first time, he did not hide his panic in front of Harry and his group. Every time Harry took a step forward, he took a step back.
Harry ignored Malfoy completely and moved forward cautiously, staring into the dim passage between the two rows of shelves. He could hear nothing and see nothing.
"It's row ninety-seven—"
Hermione said to Harry in an urging tone.
She could guess what Harry was thinking at the moment. She just wanted Harry to take a look as soon as possible, and then let Elune take them back to Hogwarts, or at least go back to the hall upstairs.
Harry still pricked up his ears, listening for every slightest sound, but the hall was silent except for the sound of their footsteps.
Perhaps Sirius was gagged or unconscious. Or, a self-righteous voice in his head said, he was too late, and Sirius might have died.
No, if that happened, I would feel it. I would see it--
"ninety-seven!"
Hermione raised her wand slightly, holding it up to look at the silver nameplate next to the row of shelves they had reached, and spoke quietly, as if afraid to startle anything.
They gathered at the end of the row of shelves, looking into the empty aisle next to it.
"He's right here at the end,"
Harry said, his lips slightly dry.
"You can't see clearly from here."
He led the way through the elevated platforms lined with glass balls, which flickered as they passed by.
"It was near here, I remember it very clearly--"
With a tangled and complicated mood, Harry took every step.
He wanted to see Sirius in ragged clothes, but he didn't want to see him here.
"Right here. Very close."
They had reached the other end of the shelf and were once again in the dim candlelight, but there was no one here, only glass balls that had been covered in dust and forgotten.
“He might”
Harry's voice was hoarse.
"Maybe--"
"Harry--"
Hermione stepped forward and took Harry's arm.
"what's wrong?"
Harry's tone was not good.
"From what I can see, Sirius isn't here."
No one spoke. Harry just stared at the spot where he remembered Sirius falling, looking for any sign of a struggle. "Harry!"
Ron called out as well, but this time Harry didn't want to answer. He just lowered his head and made a little sound through his nasal cavity.
He didn't want to hear what Ron had to say, didn't want to hear Ron tell him that he had done something stupid, or to hear Ron suggest that they all go back to Hogwarts.
But his face was indeed burning, and he wished he could hide in this dark place for a long time.
The advice Hermione quoted from Professor Blaine was not wrong.
He shouldn't have blindly believed what he saw in his dream.
"Harry--"
But Ron called out again, his tone more emphatically.
"Do you see this glass ball?"
Glass ball?
The glass ball that Voldemort wanted Sirius to have?
Harry, who was looking down at himself, turned around suddenly. He saw Ron pointing solemnly at a glass ball on the shelf next to him, while Hermione, Ginny and others had already looked over under Ron's guidance, all of them with doubtful expressions.

Harry stared blankly.
There was a label under the glass ball, behind a date from sixteen years ago, that said him and Voldemort.
"what is this?"
Ron looked at Harry, his voice and expression full of timidity.
"Why is your name on it?"
Then, Ron began to look at the other glass balls. Perhaps, everyone had a glass ball. This was actually the archives of the Ministry of Magic or something, and every minor had a glass ball.
Hermione, Ginny and Luna, like Ron, looked around to see if they could find any familiar names.
Draco appeared silently at the end of the 97th row of shelves. He stared blankly at his classmates and at Harry.
From the behavior of Harry and the others, he realized that they were probably not here to chase him.
Are they here to see Sirius?
Taking such a big risk to leave Hogwarts in the middle of the night and come to the Department of Mysteries of the Ministry of Magic to find Sirius
Draco's light grey pupils trembled.

"If I'm not wrong."
Elune bit her plump, bright red lower lip. She seemed to come to her senses and looked around at the shelves.
"This should be the Hall of Prophecy of the British Ministry of Magic."
"Hall of Prophecy?"
Hermione's voice clenched and she raised it in question.
"I have heard of it before." Elune's tone gradually became more confident.
"In the Department of Mysteries at the British Ministry of Magic, there is a room dedicated to prophecies. These glass balls are prophecy balls!"
"But you're not American, how did you hear about it?"
Ginny stared at Elune with distrust.
"I'm not a little brat like you guys!"
Elune said angrily,
"I am much more knowledgeable than you!"
Prophecy ball.
Harry retracted his gaze, looked at the glass ball with him and Voldemort marked on it, and slowly raised his hand.
"The prophecy contains my name and Voldemort's name"
"Don't touch it, Potter!"
Draco suddenly woke up from his trance and screamed in panic.
"This is a conspiracy. Go back to school!"
But it was too late, Harry had already touched it.
He thought the ball would be cold, but on the contrary, the glass ball felt as if it had been baked in the sun for several hours, and the light made the surface very warm.
There was a moment of silence and nothing happened.
Harry thought Malfoy was just bluffing, but -
The next second, ripples appeared in the air.
Many figures appeared out of nowhere, blocking the exits in front and behind the shelves, with more than a dozen wands pointing at their hearts, and cold light shot out from the slits in their hoods. Ginny gasped in fear.
"You've been fooled, Bo. Why are you here, Draco?!"
A shocked and angry voice came from behind the Death Eaters. (End of this chapter)
