Homecoming from Hogwarts

Chapter 1330 Cold-blooded Death Eaters

"I just want the prophecy, Potter."

Lucius stretched out a hand towards Harry, and as if afraid that Harry didn't understand, he repeated it with a stronger tone.

Harry was about to refuse instinctively, but Hermione held Harry's arm as if she was afraid and squeezed it hard.

So Harry swallowed the mocking words that were about to come out of his mouth.

"Do you swear that you will let us go once you get the prophecy?"

Hermione stared at Lucius nervously, her tone timid.

Draco, who was standing behind his father, looked at Hermione with a slightly confused look, then looked at the back of his father's head.

"I see the situation clearly, Miss Warrior--"

Lucius stared at Hermione's brown eyes from the slit of his hood, and his tone was light,
"We still have to follow the Dark Lord to accomplish a great cause. We are not interested in living in Avalon Prison permanently. So, hand over the prophecy ball and we will leave. You can also end the adventure game and go back to Hogwarts to sleep."

To be honest, Harry didn't know whether the prophecy ball in his sleeve was real or fake, but since Hermione said so, the prophecy ball in his hand must be fake.

But now it seems that Lucius Malfoy doesn't seem to know this. He should think that the most important prophecy ball should be kept by himself.

"How can I ensure that you will keep your promise?"

Hermione suppressed her anxiety and asked breathlessly,
"You are Death Eaters. The most despicable and cunning dark wizards!"

For a moment, both sides fell silent.

"Come here, Draco."

Suddenly, Lucius Malfoy turned his head and looked at Draco who was watching the development of the situation behind him.

Hearing his father's harsh call, Draco was stunned for a moment, but still walked over obediently.

Lucius ripped the staff from Draco's arms and roughly pulled Draco by the back of his collar.

"I can hand him over to you. If we don't leave after we get the prophecy, you can take him as a hostage!"

Harry:.
Hermione:
Draco:? ? ?

Looking at the stunned Harry and Hermione, Lucius' tone became more impatient.
"How about it, deal? Or do you and your friends want to die here?"

this.
Among the many things that happened tonight, the scene before my eyes was the most surprising!

Lucius Malfoy traded his son for the prophecy and the chance for the Death Eaters to leave?
Harry could think of no other explanation except cold-bloodedness.

Looking at the equally stunned Draco Malfoy, in addition to disgust, Harry also felt a trace of sympathy for Draco.

He went to great lengths to steal the staff from Professor Brian, but was betrayed by his own father in the end.

How ridiculous, how sad!
Lucius' words were beyond Hermione's expectations. With her sharp wisdom, she hesitated for a long time but still couldn't guess what Lucius Malfoy was planning. However -
There's nothing to lose by doing this, right?

Exchanging a fake prophecy ball for Draco is definitely a good deal.

"Okay, sure--"

After taking several deep breaths, Hermione nodded, but then hesitated and added,
"Let's go outside and make the deal first so that the Death Eaters with you stop attacking our friends!"

Lucius's gray eyes flashed with joy, but what came out was a cold snort.
"Hmm, sure."

"Are you really going to take your--"

Rookwood's expression under the mask was extremely interesting, and he asked in a low voice.

"Shut up, this is none of your business."

Lucius glared at Rookwood fiercely and spoke in a cold tone.

After hearing all this, Draco's face turned pale, as if his soul had been taken away, and he allowed himself to be manipulated by his father.

The two groups faced each other as they opened several doors in this room.

The first door they opened was the one Hermione and Ginny had just rushed out of, a room filled with clocks engulfed in purple magic fire.

A pool of slime gushed out of the second door, and Harry saw through the crack in the door that the three Death Eaters defeated by him and Luna were still 'drifting'. Boom!

The moment the third door opened, explosions and smoke rushed in impatiently, and in the gray air, flashes of silver arrow-shaped curse light flashed!
"stop!"

Lucius shouted as he carefully entered the room, guarding against a sneak attack from Harry and Hermione.

"Harry!"

When Harry and Hermione walked out of the room, they immediately heard Mr. Weasley's surprised cry.

The people on their side ran over from all parts of the circular room.
"Are you all right, Harry, Hermione?"

Mr. Weasley asked with concern.

"Gouge out your heart and dig out your bones!"

The battle was not over yet. Harry saw Neville's family of three chasing Bellatrix. Although Bellatrix was at a disadvantage, she was still circling around the fallen chandelier with a crazy laugh, and took the opportunity to throw a Cruciatus Curse at them.

"Tell your people to stop."

Lucius looked at Arthur Weasley with cold eyes.

"We gave the Death Eaters a fake prophecy in exchange for their departure and they were willing to let Malfoy stay as a hostage."

Mr. Weasley protected the little wizards who were running from all directions behind him, and Harry whispered behind Mr. Weasley.

Arthur raised his eyebrows.

Let the Death Eaters go
This is obviously not a good choice, but.
Turning his head to look at the group of children behind him, Arthur gritted his teeth.

"Frank, Alice!"

After a few seconds of silence, Mr. Weasley spoke up and told the Longbottoms to stop.

"I'm impressed with you, Lucius!"

Both sides explained the current situation to their own people. After listening to Lucius's words, Bellatrix patted Lucius' arm with great appreciation.

"The Dark Lord will reward you for your loyalty, Lucius. If I had children, I would do the same as you!"

Draco's body trembled, and his expression couldn't be more numb.

"Then let's trade--"

Lucius did not respond to Bellatrix's words, but just moved his lips towards Rookwood. He grabbed Draco and took two steps forward.

Even now, Harry found it difficult to accept the cold-bloodedness of Lucius Malfoy.

And, let the Death Eaters escape -
But Ginny and Luna both needed treatment as soon as possible, and George looked a little injured as well.

All this was caused by his own willfulness and stupidity, and he couldn't let his friends take the risk of fighting the Death Eaters again.

Lucius even generously pushed Draco over first. Ron immediately jumped over his father and pointed his wand at the bereaved Draco's head.
"You deserve it, Malfoy!"

Ron told Draco viciously that he would never forget what Malfoy and Parkinson had done to him and Lavender.

"for you--"

In the extremely tense atmosphere, Harry took out the prophecy ball, which was almost as big as the Golden Snitch, from his sleeve and threw it to Lucius Malfoy.

madness--
However, Harry's neat performance did not win Lucius's praise. Instead, he gave such an evaluation in his heart.

Fortunately, most of his colleagues were not very smart. If Adam Vogel was here, he would definitely be able to see the clues.

Everyone knew something would happen after the exchange, and that's exactly what happened.

The moment he took the prophecy ball, Rookwood raised his wand and pointed it at the broken ceiling.

Boom!

The room collapsed. (End of this chapter)
