Chapter 10 Digging a Pit
Back in the car, Ethan smoked a cigarette and drove away.

It was still early, and he decided to go to Miles' restaurant to kill some time before going to Old Sam's to get a gun.

In the restaurant, Ethan was casually eating his lunch, and it was the sixth time that Dahlia passed by him.

Every time he passed by, some trivial accidents always happened.

For example, a towel was accidentally dropped on the floor, and she bent down to pick it up with great difficulty.

For another example, if ketchup gets on your fingers, it’s not too much to lick it off, and it can’t affect the guests’ dining.

In desperation, Ethan got up to wash his hands, and found that there were water stains on the floor of the bathroom
He angrily called Dahlia over. As a shop assistant, he is obliged to keep the facilities in the shop clean and tidy, so as not to affect the use of customers.

After Dalia humbly accepted Ethan's criticism and education, Ethan calmly fastened his belt and returned to his seat to finish his lunch.

After sleeping in the car for more than an hour, the mobile phone rang, and Sam informed him that the formalities had been completed and he could go to pick up the gun.

Coming to the old Sam's fishing and hunting store again, Ethan bought some accessories, put a bunch of things in the back seat, and drove home.

When he got home, he immediately took out a dilapidated wooden table from the tool room, and put the table in front of the improvised shooting range that he had sorted out earlier.

Arrange the Python revolver, M4A1, and M1911 on the table in sequence.

Ethan first picked up the 6-inch python revolver, the silver-white gun body looked very textured.

Like in the western cowboy movie, he flicked a gun flower, then opened the cylinder, and stuffed the 357-inch Magnum bullets into the cylinder one by one.

He aimed the gun at the thin iron plate not far away, and with a muffled "bang", a small hole was drilled out of the iron plate.

Ethan smiled with satisfaction, felt the recoil of the python, and continued to pull the trigger to fire the remaining five bullets.

Putting down the Python revolver, Ethan picked up the M4A1 that had been assembled aside.

This gun accompanied him through a lot of happy childhood. Now that he has the opportunity, of course he wants to buy one for himself.

He pressed the butt of the gun against his shoulder, adjusted his standing posture, and aimed at the white-painted tire on the ground 20 meters away. With the flames from the muzzle of the gun, the bullet quickly drilled towards the tire.

It's a pity that there is no blessing of skills, the accuracy is average, and it is accurate when not using a pistol.

After finishing a magazine, a notification sound appeared in my mind.

Quickly opened the system panel and found that a rifle skill was added to the skill list.

He happily reloaded the magazine, and after a few more jerks at the tire, threw the loaded Python revolver and M4A1 into space.

As long as the skills are generated in the system panel, as long as you get the skill book in the future, you will not be afraid of being wrong.

Picking up the last Browning M1911, he first disassembled the pistol into parts, wiped it carefully with gun oil, and then reassembled it.

Aiming at the tire just now, the shot was very smooth and the landing point was very dense. Ethan blew on the muzzle of the gun with satisfaction. The gun was well maintained before.

After packing up everything, Ethan went to the tool room and found a shovel. He carried the shovel and walked towards the forest on the side of the house. The sound of fallen leaves on the ground scared away a few small animals.

There was only his family nearby, and old Morgan bought a large forest around it, and surrounded it with a simple wooden fence to prevent unrelated people from entering. Now it is convenient for Ethan.

A few hundred meters away from the house, Ethan found a small hillside. The hillside was full of pale yellow flowers. Under the sunshine, it was very beautiful and a good place for a picnic.

He stepped on the soft soil with his feet, Lao Mei, this land is really fertile.

Taking off his shirt, Ethan started to work while waving a shovel.

After more than an hour, guessing that the depth was about the same, Ethan wiped off his sweat, threw the shovel out, and crawled out of the pit with both hands.

Putting the shovel into the mound next to him, Ethan whistled and returned to the side of the house, and jumped into the lake to wash off the mud on his body.

Time soon came to the evening, Ethan changed into a black sportswear, put on a peaked cap, and drove to the Davis Bar.

In the distance, Hood is seen next to the bar, sitting on the stairs of the barn eating.

The bar is quite lively. According to memory, Cole's wife will hold a vigil here, and I believe Cole's brother will also be there.

It didn't take long to wait, and soon Dex and Marcus appeared, and the two of them brandished pistols and quarreled with Hood.

The argument quickly died down with Candy's friendly dissuasion, armed with a double-barreled shotgun.

The two of them could be heard from far and wide, yelling for revenge. Ethan smiled and took a sip from the water bottle.

After the conflict was over, Dex and Marcus returned to the bar to continue drinking, and Hood quickly went up to the second floor of the barn to rest after eating.

Ethan continued to wait patiently. When it was past ten o'clock in the evening, everyone in the Davis bar left.

Marcus and Dex climbed unsteadily into a pickup truck and left the bar.

Ethan followed from a distance, and the vehicle soon stopped at the Savoy Gentleman's Club.

After the two of them entered the club, Ethan parked the car next to their pickup truck, turned off the engine and waited.

This time, I waited until after 1 o'clock in the morning before seeing the two of them staggering out of the club.

The two came to the front of the car and supported each other to fertilize the shrubs.

Ethan looked around in the car and made sure there was no one around. He didn't hesitate anymore, lowered the brim of his hat, opened the door and got out of the car.

He took out the prepared wooden stick from the space, and he quickly walked behind the two of them.

Hearing the sound of footsteps, Marcus shook his head drunkenly and looked back, a wooden stick whistled through the wind.

After knocking the two of them unconscious neatly, Ethan threw the wooden stick back into the space, then took out two balls of rags and stuffed them into their mouths, tied them up with a rope, picked them up and threw them into the back of the car. Cover with canvas.

After doing all this, Ethan quickly lit up and left the scene.

Soon, the F150 came to the place where it was busy today. After parking the car in front of the pit, Ethan went to the rear and lifted the canvas.

Marcus and Dex had already woken up, looking at Ethan in horror, his gagged mouth whimpered, and he kept writhing in the back bucket.

Ethan didn't say anything, he lifted the two of them out of the car, kicked them into the pit again, and threw the wooden stick he had just used into the pit.
Taking out the M1911 from the space, Ethan took a few breaths, raised his pistol and pointed it at the two people in the pit, "Bang bang."

The gunshots startled a crowd of night birds, and the moonlight scattered in the mountains and forests was extraordinarily bright.

Putting away the pistol, Ethan picked up the shovel and continued to work, digging hard, but backfilling was quite fast.

I used a car to roll back and forth at the original place of the pit several times. After the land was completely leveled, Ethan drove away. I believe that the small flowers in this place will bloom more vigorously next year.

Back at the house, Ethan connected the water hose, rinsed the mud from the car tires and the rear bucket several times, and then drove the car back to the garage to park it.
