Chapter 129 The Amish Girl
Hearing what Ethan said, Nora's pupils shrank violently.

I didn't expect that the bastard in front of me was really the man who saved me.

The small-town policeman who had humiliated him several times was actually the same person as the mysterious masked man who murdered all over New York.

Nora looked at Ethan and murmured involuntarily:
"how can that be?"

Ethan bent down to pick up his pants, and took out the handcuff key from inside.

"Seeing that I saved your life and gave you a few hundred dollars before I left, can you not do it, I have a busy day today."

After he undid the handcuffs, Nora flexed her wrist and took out a bottle of beer from the box.

After knowing that Ethan was the one who saved her life in New York, Nora had no intention of doing anything. She looked at the lake in front of her with a complicated expression.

Ethan jumped on the swing and sat down, looked at the Indian ornaments on Nora's collarbone, and asked curiously:

"What is this around your neck? Does it have any special meaning?"

Nora could feel the heat radiating from the body next to her, and she couldn't help but pick the wooden board with her fingers. "It has a special meaning."

"what is it then?"

"Be nice with it."

Ethan spouted beer in a puff. He didn't expect this cold-faced Indian beauty to make a joke.

Seeing Ethan's embarrassment, the corners of Nora's mouth curled up slightly.

"Why did you save me when I was in New York?"

Ethan wiped his mouth, "If you want to save it, save it, why do you need a reason."

"You and I are not friends." Nora raised her head and gulped down a sip of beer, her jawline still so perfect.

"I don't think we should be considered enemies."

Ethan replied casually, and took out a cigarette from his trouser pocket, "Do you want one?"

"No, I'm not smoking anything right now."

Nora shook her head, then whispered "Thank you."

"Sorry, I didn't hear what you said clearly?" Ethan teased her deliberately.

Unexpectedly, after Nora pursed her lips, she turned her face around and said seriously:
"Thank you."

This made Ethan at a loss, and quickly waved, "You're welcome, I'm just doing it."

"It's easy for you, but not for me. I owe you one."

Nora grabbed her long, smooth hair and handed over the wine bottle. Ethan understood and touched the mouth of the bottle with her.

"How did you get imprisoned?"

"What are you going to do in New York?"

The two asked in unison, and then spread their hands at the same time, "Let's keep a little secret."

Another coincidence made both of them smile, and the atmosphere at the scene became harmonious.

Nora asked, "Did you catch Tommy Littlestone today?"

"No."

Ethan wiped the water droplets on his body, "Tommy Littlestone is not a murderer, I have interrogated him, he doesn't look like a person who can do such a thing as murder."

Nora looked at him and smiled, "You also captured Cheton Littlestone, he must have cost you a lot of effort?"

"It's okay, are you friends with him?" Ethan shrugged his shoulders.

Nora jumped off the swing and said:
"No, he can do this kind of thing, but he is not a murderer."

"why?"

"Just take him for a purist, he'd never kill a Chino girl."

After Nora said a word, she walked into the darkness with long legs.

Watching her disappearing figure, Ethan silently drank the beer in his hand.

The next morning, just as Ethan approached the police station, he saw Chelton provoking Emmett.

"These white people enslaved your ancestors and plundered your land, but you put on their uniform, black man, how do you face yourself when you wake up every morning?"

Ethan walked straight to the front of the iron cage with a blank expression, threw out his baton and hit it hard, and the iron cage made a loud "clang".

"If I were you, I'd keep my mouth shut."

Chetton looked at Ethan with a smile, and spat to the side.

Without saying a word, Ethan immediately reached out to touch the keys on his waist, but was hugged by Emmett.

"Don't be impulsive, it's not worth it for this kind of person."

He smiled at Chetton again and said, "You know what? Every morning I wake up and think that I can sweep garbage like you down the sewer, and I feel very happy."

Cheton grabbed the iron cage and shook it with a gloomy expression, then sat back on the bed panting heavily.

"Dude, don't take his words to heart." Ethan patted Emmett on the shoulder.

"It's okay, there are people like this everywhere, I'm used to it."

Emmett smiled at him, still wearing gauze around his brow.

Ethan asked, "Why don't you take two days off?"

"It's okay, it's just a few stitches. I used to be on the school football team. It's a trivial matter."

Emil showed his white teeth and showed off his biceps.

At this time, Hood leaned out from the office.

"Everyone, come in and talk about today's work."

Everyone cheered up and got up and walked into the sheriff's office.

"What clues do you have today? Give me some good news." Hood clapped his hands.

After a moment of silence, Brock coughed.

"I have an idea. I studied yesterday's transcript."

"Solomon has a friend who was expelled by the ethnic group and now lives in an old building in Delafield. If Solomon hid, maybe he had contact with his former friend."

"Very well, I will find that person with you later."

Hood nodded, this is at least one direction.

Ethan raised his hand to signal, "I'm going to go out later, and talk to Rebecca. She was attacked yesterday, and maybe she can provide some new clues today."

"Okay, do you need someone to accompany you?"

"No, I'm fine on my own."

Ethan shook his head and rejected Hood's proposal. Rebecca originally wanted to take care of it by herself today, and then bring someone there, and it would be bad if it had the opposite effect later.

After Siobhan and Emmett spread their hands to say that there was nothing new to discover, Hood asked the two of them to stay at the police station and the meeting broke up.

Ethan got his equipment, got into the police car and drove towards Rebecca's house.

After waiting on the side of the road for a while, Rebecca hurried out of the room in a black dress and got into the car.

After a night of rest, the swelling on her face has almost disappeared.

After she sat firmly, Ethan stepped on the accelerator and drove forward.

Soon they came to the Amish gathering place. Under Rebecca's command, the police car stopped on the side of a bush, and there was a wooden house in the distance.

"Don't show up, I'll do it."

After Ethan nodded, Rebecca pushed open the car door and ran forward with light steps.

She ran near the house and hid behind a carriage.

After smoking a few cigarettes in boredom, Ethan glanced at his watch, more than half an hour had passed.

This is, walking from the side of the house, an Amish girl in a black traditional dress and a white scarf.

Taking advantage of the girl's inattention, Rebecca pulled her behind the carriage.

Ethan sat up straight, tapped his fingers on the steering wheel, and looked over expectantly.

After Rebecca talked to the Amish girl for a few minutes, she turned around angrily, grabbed her phone, said a few words, and ran towards Ethan.
