Chapter 140 Interrogation
Ethan bent down and carried Quentin out of the trunk of the car, and strode towards the garage.

At his signal, Jaber and Jonny moved a wooden table into the middle of the garage.

He threw Quentin directly onto the table, then took the rope from Jonny, tied Quentin to the table, and untied his mouth.

After a while of tossing, Quentin woke up leisurely.

He looked at the few people standing beside him, feeling as if he had fallen into an abyss.

Quentin struggled hard, and when he found himself tied to death, he turned his head to look at Ethan in despair and asked:

"what do you want?"

Ethan put a box of mineral water brought from the house on the shelf next to it.

"Johnny, can you open the lid for me?"

"All of it?" Johnny asked puzzled.
"Half it first."

While Ethan was talking, he found two bricks beside him, and motioned Jaber to help him lift the end of the table.

He put bricks on top of it, so that the wooden table was raised on one side and lowered on the other.

Quentin had a bad premonition in his heart, and quickly cursed:
"Hey, I'm talking to you, you bastard."

Ethan laid the bricks, patted the dust off his hands, and took a bottle of mineral water.

After tossing for a long time, he was also thirsty. After drinking half a bottle of water in one go, he said to Quentin:

"Mr. Quentin, please, could you be a little more polite?"

"We're old friends after all."

After he finished speaking, he went to the shelf next to him and picked up a towel.

"Xie Te, give me a good time, directly ask the question you want to ask, and I promise to explain it truthfully."

Seeing Ethan's movements, Quentin shook his head frantically and said anxiously.

Ethan raised his eyebrows at him, then smiled and said:

"Then how do I know if you will lie to me? You were tired after running in the woods for so long just now. Let me help you wash your face."

Under Ethan's command, Jabo and Jonny pressed Quentin's head on one side.

Ethan poured out the water in the mineral water bottle, wet the towel in his hand, and said to Quentin:

"You chased me for a few streets with a gun, and I washed your face for you. How kind I am to you, you must be grateful."

"No."

"Don't do that."

"I promise not to lie, I will tell you everything you ask me."

Quentin desperately wanted to shake his head, but was held down by Jabo and Jonny.

Ethan didn't talk nonsense anymore, he covered his face with a wet towel, and then brought the mineral water prepared in advance from the shelf next to him.

He held a bottle of water in each hand, and poured it on Quentin's towel-covered face.

As the mineral water continued to pour down, Quentin soon struggled violently, his hands and feet rubbed and his whole body tensed up.

After emptying the water bottle, Ethan lifted the towel off.

Quentin coughed violently, and clear water choked out from his mouth and nose. He said painfully:

"Shet, ask me, I'll tell you everything."

"Wait a minute, it hasn't been washed yet." Ethan threw the wet towel up again.

After repeating this three times, Quentin had choked out blood, the towel turned red, his crotch was soaked, and there was a smell of urine.

Jia Bo frowned and said, "It's almost there?"

Ethan nodded, lifted the towel, and asked Quentin who was in a trance:

"Where's Brantley?"

Quentin turned his head, coughed a few times, and said weakly:

"I don't know, he usually lives in a converted truck and travels all over the country."

Ethan gritted his teeth, Quentin only wanted to have a good time at this time.

Under waterboarding to extract a confession, few people can stand up to it, and he will not lie.

Jia Bo said, "Is there any way to contact him?"

Quentin's eyes were bloodshot, and his lips trembled as he said:

"We are all in one-line contact, and we all use disposable phones, so you don't even think about contacting him."

"Please, give me a good time."

Ethan kicked the empty bottle off the ground, thinking that he could find out Brantly's whereabouts directly, but he didn't expect that guy to act so cautiously.

In this case, there is nothing he can do.

Looking at Jia Bo, Jia Bo also opened his hands, expressing that he was helpless.

Ethan had to knock Quentin unconscious with a punch, then untied the rope that tied Quentin to the table and lifted him up.

"I'm going to get rid of him, and that's it for now."

At this time, the Gentlemen's Club of Savoy

In the back office, Proctor was teaching Rebecca to read the financial statements when the walkie-talkie next to the desk rang.

"Boss, Mr. Ronside wants to see you."

Proctor thought for a while, put down the report, and picked up the walkie-talkie.

"Let him in."

"Ok."

Proctor put down the walkie-talkie and looked up at Rebecca.

Rebecca nodded, sat down on the sofa next to her, and picked up the newspaper.

There was a knock on the door, and the security at the Savoy Gentlemen's Club opened it to let Alex in.

After his men closed the door, Proctor asked with great interest:
"Please sit down, Alex Runside, what can I do for you?"

Alex took off his hat, hesitated for a moment, pulled out a chair and sat down.

He didn't speak, but looked at Rebecca who was sitting aside, and Rebecca smiled sweetly at him.

Alex turned his head, stroked the hat in his hand, and glanced at Proctor.

Proctor raised his legs and said:
"It's okay, you can say anything in front of her, she is my niece, you know, after all, you caught her, didn't you?"

Alex gritted his teeth, coughed, and said expressionlessly:

"George Hunter wants to oust me from the Chiefs."

As soon as these words came out, Proctor immediately understood his purpose of coming, this was a call for help.

Proctor stood up and walked to the side, while thinking in his heart, he quickly made up his mind.

He picked up the wine bottle and two glasses, put them on the table and poured them himself.

"You go on, I'm listening."

Alex's face was a little stricken, and he couldn't believe that Proctor didn't understand him.

He glanced sideways again. Rebecca was so engrossed in her paper that she seemed oblivious to their conversation.

He supported the armrest, changed his sitting position, and said with difficulty:
"George Hunter has united a group of people, and when the next committee meeting is held, he will have enough votes to vote me out."

Proctor pursed his lips and nodded, then picked up the wine glass.

"This bourbon tastes good, try it."

After Alex picked up the glass, Proctor continued: "According to what you said, my friend, it seems that you are in trouble."

Alex took a sip of the wine, and at this moment he didn't pay attention to the taste of the wine in the glass.

Although I have made up my mind, it all seems so difficult.

After taking a sip of wine, he decided to put aside face completely, stared at Proctor and said:

"If Hunter becomes chief, you have to say goodbye to everything in the new casino. George Hunter is an old school. He can't let you near the new casino."

Proctor smiled. "If I remember correctly, you seem to have said the same thing."
