Chapter 31 Tsunami
The piercing air defense siren was sounded, and the sound echoed in the city like a ghost.

"go go go, run, we are going to the building that Daniel built."

Black was the first to react, and made a choice in a blink of an eye. It was the tallest building closest to them now, and it was the only hope of survival.

Regardless of the pain, Ben Taylor hopped forward and ran forward, but was resisted by Ethan, and everyone ran desperately towards the half-built tall building ahead.

Before entering the building, everyone turned their heads, and a white line on the sea in the distance swept towards the city.

A huge freighter was carried by the tsunami and crashed into the red Golden Gate Bridge. They could hear the loud sound clearly, and the cars on the bridge flew up like building blocks.

After the huge waves broke down the Golden Gate Bridge, they marched along the bay to the city, venting the mighty power of heaven and earth along the way.

When he came to the fire stairs, Ethan put Ben Taylor down with a red face.

He put his hands on his knees, leaned against the wall, and kept panting
No matter how good his physical fitness is, carrying a person weighing more than 100 kilograms while avoiding obstacles on the road and running for a few minutes at the same time almost made him out of breath.

"Go, don't stop, I'll follow right away."

Now is not the time to be polite, Ben Taylor knew that he was the one who was holding back, gritted his teeth and took Ollie's hand and walked up the stairs.

Black looked at him worriedly, and Ethan waved his hand to indicate that he was fine. After his breathing became smooth, he and Black quickly ran up the fire stairs together.

He quickly caught up with Ben Taylor and Ollie. Ethan really had no strength to resist him running up the stairs, so he could only support him, and the group kept running up.

After climbing several floors, Ethan stopped suddenly.

Blake didn't have time to react and bumped into his back. Ethan quickly stretched out his foot and pushed forward to stop the castration.

Looking at the sharp steel bars in front of him, cold sweat broke out on his back.

The earthquake has collapsed the stairs going up, and the reinforced concrete blocks have sealed the corridor tightly.

Everyone had no choice but to open the fire door and enter the building. The empty hall could be seen at a glance, with a few thick concrete pillars in the middle.

Ben Taylor frowned and slumped on the ground. The violent exercise caused his wounds to burst and stained his pants red.

"What's that sound?" Hearing the roar, Ollie stared outside the building with wide eyes.

Blake approached the glass curtain wall, and the sea water flooded the street and knocked down the building like a galloping horse, rushing towards them.

Blake bit his lip, and after estimating the height, he hurriedly stepped back, his eyes full of panic, "Our height is not high enough, quickly take cover."

Ethan grabs her hand, and Blake hides behind a concrete pillar.

Ben Taylor also hugged Ollie, clasping the pillar tightly with both hands, and several people looked at each other, waiting for the judgment of fate.

The rushing sound of the sea became louder and louder, and the whole building shook violently.

Ethan felt that his heart was about to jump out of his throat, and the hand holding the pillar couldn't help but increase a little bit of strength.

With a loud noise, the glass curtain wall was broken by sea water.

The force of the water flow was getting stronger and stronger, and Ben Taylor who was next to him exclaimed and was washed away by the sea water.

After supporting for a while, Ethan reluctantly let go of his hand.

The moment he let go, he and Black were sucked into the water. After tumbling twice in a daze, Black disappeared. Ethan opened his eyes wide. on his lap.

Under the heavy impact, Ethan was carried into the water.

Holding his breath, he kept rowing and pulling his hands, and swam vigorously.

"Ethan, row this way."

Fortunately, due to the blocking of the wall, after the first wave of sea water hit the past, the speed of the water flow slowed down, and finally surfaced. Ethan took a big breath of oxygen and looked towards the place where the sound came from.

Blake and the others were lucky, they were not hit by the debris entrained by the sea, and they had already swam to the entrance of the fire escape on the other side.

The water in the hall was still rising at a speed visible to the naked eye, and Ethan reluctantly swam towards them.

Ben Taylor and Black worked together to pull Ethan up from the water. Along the fire elevator, which was still in good condition, they went up to two floors before stopping.

Opening the fire door, several people collapsed on the concrete floor like rout soldiers.

There was a stabbing pain in his thigh. Ethan sat up quickly and took off his coat and threw it aside. Ignoring that Black was still beside him, he pulled down one side of his pants and saw that his thigh was bruised.

Blake came over to help him stand up without hesitation, Ethan took a deep breath, took two steps forward, and suddenly felt a stabbing pain.

I don't know how the injury is, but there is no better way now, I can only endure it first.

With Black's support, he walked slowly towards the glass curtain wall.

As far as the eye can see, there is a vast ocean.

Tall buildings stood in the sea, like isolated islands, with all kinds of debris floating on the water.

Ben Taylor hugged Ollie in fear. If they followed the flow of people out, the tsunami could kill them in San Francisco.

This floor has been mostly renovated, and there are office supplies piled up everywhere. They searched and found nothing useful, and they didn't know when they would be able to wait for the rescue, so they had to rest where they were and recover their strength.

Not far away, Ollie was sleeping soundly in Ben Taylor's arms.

Ethan took his wet cigarette and walkie-talkie out of his pocket.

He grabbed the cigarette hard and squeezed out a stream of water.

I shook the walkie-talkie and turned the switch, but there was no response, and water still leaked from the gap.

He reluctantly threw the walkie-talkie aside, leaned against the pillar and looked out of the curtain wall, hoping that rescue would arrive soon.

He raised his head at the sound of footsteps, and Blake walked beside him with his hair brushed in his hands, the wet vest perfectly fitting her curves.

He moved sideways a bit, and Blake sat down next to him.

Feeling the coldness of Black's arms and his body still trembling slightly, Ethan reached into his pocket and took out a piece of chocolate from the space.

This was thrown to him when he was on patrol with Siobhan last time, but he didn't like sweets, so he just put it in the space.

Small items are easy to explain, so he just took out the chocolate.

Under Black's surprised gaze, Ethan tore open the package and handed it to her.

Blake took the chocolate, broke off half of it without hesitation, whistled, threw it to Ben Taylor, and reached out to nod Ollie.

She broke the remaining half of the chocolate into two pieces again, and took one of them to Ethan's mouth.

"I don't like sweets, you can eat them yourself."

Ethan shook his head and refused, but Black thought he was trying to evade, and looked at him firmly, the chocolate he was pinching did not move at all.

He had to open his mouth, and Blake quickly put his fingers into his mouth, then retracted his hand, licked his fingers, and smiled at him, with big blue crystal eyes that looked like a husky.

Ethan reached out and hugged Black into his arms, chewing carefully, the taste was not bad.

I don't know how long it took, Ollie shouted in surprise:
"Wake up quickly, I see someone driving a boat outside."
